Replacement Tensioner Push Rod Sealing Bolt for the Grom
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of sealing bolt from Honda, a steel bolt with a raised surface for locating the tensioner spring. About the feeling of use: The previous owner had installed a manual tensioner rod that I did not wish to use so reverting back to the automatic camshaft chain tensioner system from Honda required this sealing bolt to secure the tensioner spring. Having a low maintenance chain tensioner is good to have again. Products to buy together: The 14mm sealing washer would also be desirable to purchase along side this sealing bolt to ensure zero oil leaks. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 5 minutes, after the installation of the sealing bolt adding 4cc of oil to the tensioner rod oiler port is required. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a genuine Honda part that will have an long service life at a good price. A special design to this sealing bolt that I have not seen offered elsewhere. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently unavailable due to Japan Post. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: The Webike OEM parts section will be most helpful for sourcing other parts needed for your repairs. View detail

Replacement Tensioner Push Rod Spring for the Grom
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of cam chain tensioner spring from Honda. The spring is made from steel and provides the appropriate tension on the cam chain tensioner at low engine RPM. About the feeling of use: The previous owner had installed a manual tensioner rod that I did not wish to use so reverting back to the automatic cam chain tensioner system from Honda required this spring to be added. Having a low maintenance chain tensioner is good to have again. Products to buy together: Adding the hard Kitaco tensioner cap would also be desirable to purchase along side this spring to remove the chance of deformation that usually occurs to the softer Honda tensioner cap. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 5 minutes, after the installation of the spring and sealing bolt adding 4cc of oil to the tensioner rod oiler port is required. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a genuine Honda part that will have an long service life at a good price and the whole cam chain tensioner system from Honda is much cheaper when compared to the manual tensioner system available aftermarket. Replacement Tensioner Push Rod for the Grom
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of tensioner push rod from Honda, a steel rod with internal valving designed to work with the engines internal oil pressure. About the feeling of use: The previous owner had installed a manual tensioner rod that I did not wish to use so reverting back to the automatic tensioner rod from Honda with no maintenance checks of the chain tensioner is good to have again. Products to buy together: For the Honda tensioner push rod to operate as designed you would also need to purchase the cam chain tensioner spring to maintain a constant pressure on the cam chain via the cam chain tensioner. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 10 minuted, removal of the tensioner push rod sealing bolt will allow the tensioner spring and tensioner push rod to fall from the engine. Swap out the tensioner push rod and reinstall the removed parts followed by adding 4cc of oil to the tensioner rod oiler port. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a genuine Honda part that will have an long service life at a good price. I have only seen one other company offer this as an aftermarket part, they are out of Thailand and do not state exactly what the difference is only that it has been optimized but is a cheaper option. 6.5mm Sealing Washer
About quality and texture - Excellent quality from Honda for this OEM replacement part. About the feeling of use - Perfect fit and zero oil leaks after tightened to spec. Products to buy together - Pairs well to replace with the tensioner rod bolt, product # 90544-KF0-000. Difficulty of installation - Easier then easy install, do not forget the torque spec of 10nm. Cost performance and comparison with other products - Good priced replacement OEM part that can be re-used a number of times before needing a new one. About shipping and packaging - Shipping cost is not cost effective when ordering single parts to Australia currently so best to create a larger order as I do. Well packaged with air pillows and bubble wrap, arrived safety and on time. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - If unsure of the correct OEM part number for your motorcycle use Webikes OEM parts finder. View detail

Honda OEM cam chain for Monkey 125
While I had my Honda Monkey 125 engine disassembled for upgrades I thought this would be a great time to also replace some worn high kilometer parts and one of those was the Honda OEM cam chain. I could see that other brands offer cam chains to suit this motorcycle but from my research since the Honda OEM part has no reported problems to decided to stay with the same part and also due to the availablity and great pricing throught Webike. As you can see from the photo the top end of the engine has been removed but this is not required if you are just changing the cam chain but do make sure you get the timing correct before starting up the motor. Quality replacement part by Honda. View detail

Honda OEM cam chain lower roller guide
While I had my Honda Monkey 125 engine apart for upgrades I considered this a great time to also replace some high kilometer worn parts and one of those was the OEM cam chain lower roller guide. I searched to see if any companies had considered this a weak OEM part and offered an upgraded version but there was nothing to be found so this is the only way to go when you need a replacement. Webike offer two versions, one from Honda and the other from Thai Honda, I would be interested to buy both next time to see if there is any difference between the two. There is nothing to the installation and the part works as designed. View detail

Copper sealing washer for cam chain tensioner bolt
If you are looking for it, this is the Honda OEM sealing washer for the Monkey 125 camshaft chain tensioner bolt. It is a copper crush style sealing washer that will require replacement like mine did after about six times of being reused before it had a minor oil leak. Webike have made them available cheapy so why not add one to your cart next order and have one on hand in the garage if you intend on playing around or doing your own maintenance on your little 125cc motor. Not the best material cap to use with the OEM cam chain tensioner arm
Good cam chain tensioner push rod cap to use with a cam chain tensioner arm having a large contact foot like the Special Parts Takegawa one and as recommended they them. If you use the OEM Honda cap and the OEM Honda tensioner arm the cap rubber will begin to deform from the pressure applied by the narrow foot as I tried to show in my photo but even if you do decide to use all the OEM Honda parts at the cheap cost for replacement through Webike just change the cap out regularly. Replacement can be a little tricking, keep and eye on the spring holding the tensioner rod when removing and do not forget to priming the tensioner rod compartment with 4cc of oil after installation. Grom and Monkey 125 cam chain tensioner arm
Cheap looking and simple design but works as intended by Honda engineering on a standard to lightly modified Honda Grom or Monkey 125 engine. A lot of people go away from the OEM cam chain tensioner arm but for most people I think you can keep this part and just upgrade the tensioner cap to a Kitaco one model number 303-1083703 and that will make the system reliable.
