Build one CB250Export going forward with Webig, my PROject.
I think everyone has a motorcycle that holds a special place in their heart. For me, one such bike is the '69 CB250 I first owned as a student, a two-tone red-and-white export with knee grip rubbers. However, it is difficult to find it again after more than 50 years. Fortunately, I was able to acquire a blue and white two-tone '71 model about five years ago. It was almost complete and close to the original, with some modifications, such as the handlebars and front fenders being changed and the carb being malfunctioning. I noticed that in the process, spare parts such as engine, carburetor, seat, tank, and side covers were stocked up. One day, as I was looking at the parts, I wondered if it was a voice from heaven or a whisper from the devil. Hey, hey, why don't we just put another one together?" Thus, the thus "Build a CB250 Export from Parts Collection - My Project" The project has started. A frame with documents was obtained at a relatively low price, and the restoration work is in progress, using precious weekends (fortunately or unfortunately, I am 70 years old and work full time). The frame is for a horizontal sheet, but the sheet is for a vertical sheet, and other issues keep appearing, but solving them one by one is a new experience that has brought me new enjoyment. What is the third challenge? Fits 38T sprocket. The rear wheel that I had on hand was probably a 36T. The rear wheel I had on hand was a 36T, probably the rear wheel for a CB350. The chain was a 530, which is rare in the 250cc class. I gathered information on parts while considering a full conversion. Then I came across the usual Webic! This JT sprocket 278-530. I found one for 6732 yen (not including tax), 530 compatible to fit my CB. I ordered it right away, free shipping over 3,000 yen, points redeemable, and faster delivery than anywhere else. Webic is a reliable friend. Unfortunately, the tangled washers that hold the sprocket nuts in place and keep them from loosening are no longer manufactured. I will try to remove the washers and reuse them. I hope that Webic will carry this part someday as a reproduction part. I assembled the sprocket I received, and then I stuffed the 530-98L chain I had on hand into the 94L chain with four joints to make it fit perfectly. I think it will be around April when I will be able to actually ride the bike. Work will continue on Saturday and Sunday to complete the project. Merit of de iron is not cosmetic.
OEM steel is fine, but if you want to change the number of teeth, you will need to use an external product.
However, extremely few people go to the trouble of replacing a Sprocket and choose steel.
Even if they were there, they would most likely purchase an OEM Iron Sprocket.
That is why Aluminum Sprocket is sold by various companies, but there is seldom a Sprocket for AfterMarket made of iron.
In addition, a large majority of those who dare to prefer the Iron Sprocket will be those who value durability!
Or it may be important that it is less expensive than Aluminum.
In a word, it's all about cosmetics.
However, the Merit of the Most Large of the Iron Sprocket is not cosmetic.
The Merit of iron is that it can maintain the good tooth shape when new for a long period of time!
When new, there is no difference in tooth shape between aluminum and steel, but after 3000 km, aluminum will begin to wear off.
However, if it is made of steel, it is not worn at all, and the slight difference in tooth shape at this time can be felt as the difference in smoothness of the drive.
If you use it for 5000 km, you should be able to feel it as a very clear difference.
This is because a slightly reduced tooth will cause the chain roller to move as if it is caught, even if there is no problem with the drive, and the feel will deteriorate.
It's not enough to say it's decreasing visually…, there's a pretty clear difference even if it's only a 0.1mm decrease.
Since steel products are unpopular, they are almost always ordered on a made-to-order basis, and delivery time is often several months.:In many cases, it is likely that Aluminum is being purchased.
However, for the purpose of maintaining proper tooth shape for a long time, you should wait and use steel.
Long delivery times are addressed by ordering earlier and earlier.
Material:Since it is heavier than aluminum, it should be disadvantageous in suspension operation due to the increased weight under Spring, but such negatives are not felt at all.
I think Merit outperforms it because of its longer tooth shape maintenance time, which means that the driving resistance does not increase as the distance is increased.
I don't know if the color of Afam's iron Sprocket varies depending on the order lot or if the specs have been changed, but the last time I ordered one, it was silver (Uniqlo plating?) with a textured surface finish, while the one I ordered this time was painted black,
Black paint has a smoother surface and is easier to clean, so hopefully it will stay Black paint Spec. forever.

I need it enough
The rear sprocket on my DRZ400sm K9, which I bought from a private seller, was a 44T X.A.M. The front one was a stock 15T, but while riding to work, it was hard to handle at low speed and low rpm, and the chain was not moving well. I didn't know how the stock rear sprocket felt like, so I decided to change it to DRZ400sm's stock rear sprocket.
Material in terms of weight:It is heavier than Aluminum's XAM.
The build quality and precision are perfect, and I don't know how the weight affects the driving experience, but I don't feel any loss of lightness compared to the XAM.
Considering the price of Aluminum Sprocket from other manufacturers including XAM, this is enough for me.
The Chain was also replaced at the same time, which greatly improved the smoothness when turning the Wheel by hand.
The durability and other issues will come later, but for me, the biggest concern is the drive shaft that has not been replaced with a countermeasure, so there is nothing to worry about with the Sprocket.
If you are considering purchasing Material:I think it is how to digest the fact that it is heavier than Aluminum.
Frankly, I don't think you need to worry about it unless you are a Level person who can grasp the impact of the difference in weight by feel.
Front was built with the OEM 15T, but it has become quite Mild and easy to ride, so I am thinking of buying a 15T instead of the 14T made in sunstar that I bought at the same time.

Genuine JT Sprockets Rear for Ninja ZX-9R
I had previously purchased the front sprocket for this bike but had forgotten to order the rear. My bad. Finding the right JT sprocket was not hard and once found added to my basket. I have used JT sprockets for many years and on all kinds of bikes I have owned and fitted to customers bikes. They are top quality and last a long time compared to some brands in this price range. My order was shipped along with a few other parts and arrived promptly in 5 days from being shipped from Webike warehouse. My parts were all superbly packed and there was no damage during transit. Bore up CUB90 to 105cc.
Before the replacement, I had KITACO's F16T and R37 Ding. It gave me great acceleration and I was able to drive uphill very comfortably.
I recently test rode a CT110 HUNTER CUB with a previous rider. Unfortunately, his impression is that the acceleration is too strong and very difficult to use, and as a result, he does not enjoy it. There is a weight difference between riders, but it is only for me, so it is fine if only I can enjoy it. However, it is frustrating to hear this from someone who knows how to use the CUB. I was just reviewing the color of the axle line and decided to replace the RSprocket which is the same process.
I purchased the same KITACO as last time and the number of the pin is 36. The color is the same glossy black as last time and the Sprocket is included in the package. When I store the Sprocket after replacement, I use the package it came in to prevent the Chain oil from sticking to other things. This package is the most convenient when using multiple Sprockets, as long as you have time to clean the oil off each time.
If you are replacing it for the first time, be careful in removing the Sprocket from the Flange. Glasses Wrenchetc. may hit your hand on the sharp Sprocket the moment it is loosened because it is tightened quite hard. If possible, we recommend using a 14mm TWrench.
After the change, the acceleration was definitely reduced. However, the irregular timing has changed and the Change Pedal is easier to operate than before. I am not holding my upper body so strongly when starting, and my riding posture is better. The maximum speed has also changed, but I don't put much emphasis on it because I don't plan to use the speed on my CUB.
The calculated Sprocket ratio gives some idea of what to expect, but it is difficult to get an impression of what it is actually like to ride. Sprocket is a part that can be replaced to adjust acceleration and speed. The price of the parts to be replaced is low for this reason, which is helpful.
I will have the same person test drive it next month. I would like to make a decision in one shot to avoid being tipped off that I'm wasting my money.

DRIVEN Rear Sprocket 525-43T
Chain size was changed and Aluminum Sprocket was not an option.
The number of pins was also left as OEM.
The product is surface treated in Black.
The installation itself is no problem if you have the tools. Comparing the work, the rear wheel removal and attachment is more large and strange.
Durability is unknown, but I think it will hold up to about OEMLevel.

Rear Sprocket Replacement
R1-Z is an Offset Sprocket, so Other Brand Products may require a Spacer, but it is a vehicle-specific product, so simply install it and it is Large and strong.
After installation, check the center, adjust the amount of play in the chain, and tighten the axle shaft to the specified torque using a torque wrench to complete the replacement.
It is made of super Duralumin and weighs half as much as the OEM's, so I am looking forward to seeing how it feels after replacing it.

I have customized my 2016 gsx-s1000 with 47 Sprocket and RK Black Chain, and SUNSTAR 17T for the Front. I think the gsx-s1000 is too jerky at low speeds, so there are some who reduce the number of CPUs and Driven Sprockets, but either reducing one Driven Sprocket or increasing three Driven Sprockets is the same, but the GEAR ratio is very good for me and it makes it easier to ride. The embrace works well, and the Corner is very comfortable. The low speeds are also improved, so the rpms are higher, so there is no jerkiness, and I have the impression that the ride quality is very good. Best sprocket on the market
I LOVE this sprocket. I have been using them for years. Not only do they look sweet they are one of the strongest on the market if not the best. They last literally forever. I probably put 250 hours on one.They almost never wear out. won't even entertain the idea of using anything else. They look cool, very unique. You can spot them anywhere. Of course, they are more expensive than your average sprocket, but they will outlast them many times over, offsetting the extra purchase price. The last time I removed it after 2,500 km and checked it, there was almost no wear, confirming that the manufacturer's claimed durability of 10,000 to 20,000 km is not exaggeratedly large.
