520Conversion Demerit
It is cheaper than collecting OEM parts, and as you all know, there is a Merit to make the 520. However, the Noise when driving will be Large.
It sounds like the sound when the bottom of the teeth of the front sprocket (Driven Sprocket) hits the Roller of the Chain.
The OEM Sprocket has a Ring-shaped anti-vibration Rubber, which reduces Noise.
As a countermeasure, I had some DAYTONAInsulation Glass WoolSeat left over from a previous purchase at Webig, so I attached this to the inside of the Sprocket Cover.
As an effect, Noise became much smaller.

sounding good
I can't do it myself, so the person who did it for me said that FrontSprocket is very good, in terms of material and lightness, etc. Rear sprocket can be attached with either a pure normal thread screw or a taper bolt, according to the specs. View detail
Why is the same number of Ding as OEMs so expensive….
What made you decide to buy?
I have been working on the ZX-6R for 3 years now, and the mileage is about 10,000 km. I thought it was too early to replace them, but since all the parts were available during the spring sale, I decided to replace them.
[How was the installation?
I found information that the Torque of the Engine Sprocket nut fixing the front sprocket was halfway tight, so I loosened the Engine Sprocket nut using an electric Impact wrench from Tirefor Replacement. After that, I tightened the rear brake with the torque wrench at the specified torque of 147Nm, and finally, I bent the washer over the nut using the water pump pliers to prevent it from loosening.
*We are planning to describe this replacement work in our maintenance diary. Please take a look if you like.
How was your experience with it?
At first I was not sure whether to go with 16T or not, but I liked the ride quality of the OEM, so I decided to go with 15T, the same as the OEM. So there was no change between before and after the replacement. The normal specifications list on the product page says 16T, but the 21-year ZX-6R has 15T Front, 43 Rear, 2.866 reduction ratio, and 112 Chain links.

What made you decide to buy?
Since the beginning of the New Year 2024, I have been gradually collecting parts and trying to carry out a customization that I have been envisioning since last year … that customization is to replace the front rear sprocket and chain. Why did I choose the Sunstar Racing Steel rear sprocket? The reason for choosing the Sunstar racing steel rear sprocket and chain is that the power and traction control of modern supersports are constantly subjecting the sprocket and chain to high and fluctuating loads. Although there is no change in weight with the stock steel and Sunstar also made of steel, we chose a rear sprocket that delivers super durability that can take the power.
[How was the installation?
When replacing the sprocket, you will need a racing stand to lift the rear tire and a long spinner handle to loosen the axle nut. Also, a Torque wrench is necessary for Torque management.
Float the tire on the rear stand, loosen the axle nut, pull out the shaft, and remove the wheel. I always use a scrap tire from a car to put the removed wheel on the stand. I always use a scrap tire from a car to put the wheel on the stand.
While removing the Rear Sprocket, it is a good idea to clean up the area around the back of the Sprocket that has become sticky with the Chain lube. After cleaning, fix the Rear Sprocket, but since there is a little play, fix the Sprocket nut while pulling the Chain in the direction where the Chain is pulled. It is recommended to mark the Sprocket nut to confirm the tightness.
How was your experience with it?
At first, I was not sure if I should reduce the number of pins and make it Long, but I didn't want to have a misprint on the Speed display, and I also liked the ride quality of the OEM, so I decided to use the same 43 pins. So there is no change between before and after the replacement, but the OEM 6R is easier to handle. 21 year old ZX-6R has Front 15T, Rear 43 Dings, Reduction Ratio 2.866, Chain linkage 112.

Aftermarket parts are well stocked, so there is a sense of security.
I think it is semi-floating, so it should be reasonably durable, but even in case of emergency, it is helpful that all the parts can be purchased at Repair Parts. 。
I am currently using a Brembo caliper with no problems.

Chain, I purchased this item from Timing on Sprocket exchange.
The secondary deceleration ratio is now about 2.7, and I can drive Smoothly without feeling a lack of Torque during acceleration. (At first it felt strange when starting off, but once I got used to it, I prefer it this way.)

I was not sure about BlackSteel, but I decided that lightness is justice.
I changed from 43T to 42T, but since it is Rear, I don't think it changes anything experientially.
Next time I will change Front as well and see how it goes.

Optimized with Front1Down
[How is it used?
This is an IMPRESSION with 100% Circuit running.
Was the one you received as per Image?
Yes.
This time, we dared to choose 525 without 520Conversion, but even though Steel is the same as OEM, it is MADE IN SUNSTAR. (OEM may be SUNSTAR as well.) is lightweight due to the lack of meat removal and the RubberDamper, which is present on the OEM.
Was the installation difficult?
The shop is in charge of the front replacement, so the process is basically to loosen the axle of the rear wheel, lower the tension of the chain, and then remove and install the front sprocket. The front sprocket nut has a high torque of 140Nm and the OEM is very tight, so it may be difficult to remove the front sprocket without a proper tool.
How was your experience with it?
The OEM YZF-R1/M has a secondary reduction ratio of F16/R41, but even in Circuit, it rarely goes into 6th gear, and most people change it Large. Most people change the ratio to a large one. Unless you want to adapt it to a specific Circuit, it can run in any Circuit to some extent.:As for the Set, I think Front1Down is the best solution, running with the OEM GEAR ratio, In second gear, it's hard to ride at high rpm, and in third gear it's a little heavy." You can drive comfortably in 3rd gear on the Point where you feel like you are in the middle of the road. The appearance does not change at all, but expensive Parts (Exhaust System, Suspension, etc.) I think it is more expensive and outstanding than replacing the

To Refresh Disc Rotor
I purchased this for use with my Kawasaki Z1.
I purchased this disc with HoleType because the OEMDisc Rotor was approaching its wear limit and I wanted a custom look.
When we removed the STD Disc for replacement, we found the difference in weight between the STD Disc and the Hadrill.
Along with braking power, we expect the weight difference will also change the driving experience.
Rotor replacement is not a difficult task if done carefully.
The bolt hole where the rotor bolt was removed was lightly cleaned with M8 fine tap, Locktite Blue was applied to the bolt, and the bolt was fastened at 26 N.m.
Pad should also be replaced with a new one.
