Replacement Clutch Cable for the Grom
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the clutch cable from Honda, 850mm long cable with a plastic sleeve over the cable to shield it from chaffing and a nylon clip on the clutch lever cable end to minimise wear. About the feeling of use: I find the new clutch cable from Honda to have less resistance then the original clutch cable so offering a smoother control over the clutch engagement. Products to buy together: I was missing the rubber boot at the clutch lever so that was desirable to purchase along side the clutch cabe to minimise water ingress from the lever end of the clutch cable for a longer service life. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one hour, the right side fairing on the Grom need to be removed to assist in routing the clutch cable. Disconnect both ends from the clutch cover and clutch lever and remove the old cable, then feed the new cable and be sure to avoid sharp bends and possible damage from chaffing. Finally perform you clutch adjustment. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Great costing as you are getting Honda quality for a low price and much cheaper then aftermarket clutch cables. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently this service is unavailable from Japan Post, EMS is much faster which is nice. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. Grip replacement
Grip was out of date, so we purchased a new one.
It seems that the original NORMALOEM Product can also be purchased, but the shape is not so good, so we chose this one, which has a good reputation.
HondaOEM, aka RossiGrip, is better than NORMAL in terms of shape, grip comfort, and cosmetics.

I had one from Other Brand Product, but it bent a bit, so I bought it as a spare. Of course, it is OEM, so it sticks perfectly. It is safe.

Somewhere due to poor maintenance....
Purchased to replace the OEM Nut that holds the Clutch lever in place!
It originally came with OEM, but due to poor maintenance, the clutch lever came off when driving.
In that case, I lost the Nut and used a replacement. I bought a pure STD Nut because I was afraid it would rattle occasionally.
I am satisfied because I can ride with peace of mind.

It was rusty, replace it!
The bolt originally attached to the clutch lever was rusted, so I replaced it just in case.
It's easy to just wet it with Driver and replace it.
The Cockpit area is new and the Cockpit area is now clean to a pleasant degree.

Countermeasure Parts for Ninja 1000
The Clutch Cable is easily broken until the second generation of Ninja 1000.
I snapped too.
Since the third generation, the parts have been replaced with countermeasure parts.
The Gold section is moderately Curved, which makes it difficult for the Wire to hurt.
Up to the second generation, the exchange is RECOMMENDED.
Like not being able to cut Clutch on the go? It is just a fear.
Since this is an OEM Product, it is OK to install with a pontoon.
Replacement is easy.
Cable handling is a bit of a challenge, though.
It takes a little hang to pass over the Radiator.

The mounting bolt of the KICK section was old and a new bolt could be purchased, so it was replaced with a new one.

This is a rubber cover for the lever lock (part number 36X-83965-00) used in the Yamaha AG200. I installed a special rubber cover because it looks like it will rust after a while of use.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The squishy Rubber cover is very flexible.
Was the installation difficult?
If the lever is OEM, I don't think it will be fiddly, but if it is an adjustable lever, it will be a bit of a pain. I use ZETA Pivot Lever CP/Clutch 4-fingers for Public Road Folding TypeClutch lever on my D Tracker, and the SpringCase protrudes on the bottom side of this lever, so the Rubber I sprayed silicon spray on the inside of the cover to make it more slippery, and then managed to push it in. Because of the protrusion, the entire rubber cover was pulled in one direction, so the belt for fixing the rubber cover also seemed to fit in a limited way.
How was your experience with it?
It was difficult to install, but so far I have not had any Gap or dislodgement while using it.

The Parts after the countermeasure is 54011-0621.
This is the Clutch Cable for the first and second generation Ninja 1000.
You can see in the picture that the Gold part of the Lever side is straight. After that, tension is applied to the lower side and the Cable is sore.
From the 3rd generation onwards, this has been addressed and the Gold genus part has been curved.
The PartsNO after countermeasure is 54011-0621. Let's buy this one.
If it is about to run out, it will be difficult to get N out.
It stretches to the point where it can no longer be adjusted as the pain progresses.
