Caliper Cleaning Essentials
[How is it used?
Used to clean the pistons of the Front and Rear caliper of YAMAHA XJR400R.
It was also used to remove the TZr50R piston during Restore, but it was stuck and could not be removed here, so it was eventually removed with Fluid hydraulics.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The size is much larger than I imagined. It is just right for a man with large hands.
It's pretty bulky in the tool box, and I thought it was easy to understand how to use since it comes with an Instruction Manual.
How was your experience with it?
The part that grips the Piston is processed into a ThornThorn so that it has a good bite to the Piston, and it has a butterfly screw to hold the Piston in its gripped state, so that work to turn/move the Piston can progress not only when attaching/removing the Piston but also when squeezing the Piston out.
[Points to note]
ThornThorn will damage the Piston if it is not used with a firm Hold.
You might want to bite Dustclothetc. as it scratches a little bit even with proper use.
How did it compare to other products?
There are plenty of cheaper ones than this on Amazonetc., but there are not many that are ThornThorn processed, so that may be a good Point.
However, the price is somewhat high, so that is a weak point.

Caliper cleaning and removal
It is a useful tool for cleaning/removal and pad replacement for Caliper.
The part that holds the Piston is also non-slip, so you can grind the Piston without slipping. The Adjustment is not likely to be used very often, but if it is not troublesome, it is better to fix the Piston firmly with the Adjustment and grind the Piston.

Necessities
Although it is a Piston Removal Tool, I think it is actually used more often to rotate the Piston.
This is also useful in regular BrakeMaintenance Piston cleaning. Or rather, there are more opportunities to use it this way.
Without this tool, it is necessary to look at the entire circumference to clean and check for rust, and also to turn it slightly when blowing metal rubber or silicon lubes to get them in place.
I think one should definitely have one of these tools.
The clasps...to be honest, I don't use them much.

of high quality
The two included Plates can be interchanged.
It can be used with various types of brake calipers.
The Piston can be easily pushed in even with a 2-pod Caliper or larger, which makes work more efficient and puts less strain on the Piston.

CaliperOverhaul
I purchased this for CaliperOverhaul.
It will be a dedicated tool for that purpose, so there is no other use for it. If you are going to borrow it from another source, it would be better to do so.
Now, I don't have such a reliable friend, and the choice was to pay a Motorcycle shop to do it for a high labor charge or to do it myself, and then TotalCost becomes an issue.
How much would it cost to get the tools myself? If it costs nearly 100,000 yen just to get the tools, I would not hesitate to ask a Motorcycle shop to help me. I think I can do it. Thanks to finding this product, which is very cost-effective, I have decided to do it by myself.
By doing it yourself, you can take your time to clean and check. This time is fun. Of course, self-responsibility is the primary requirement. Prepare well and find someone to talk to if you think it is not going to work.
You had not yet given me any feedback on how you used it.
It is inexpensive, so it may be adequate, but the grip is so thin that removing a lot of pistons hurts my hands. Wrapping a tubular sponge or rubber around it will improve the pain. Also, if the piston diameter is small, the grip width is large, so it is hard to handle.
But it was cheap, so I am satisfied.

Not much to go on.
It is used for Screwton's extrusion, but may be mangled with Driver.
If you don't want to scratch the Pad, this is the product for you.
I don't think there are many opportunities.
I bought it but used it a few times and put it away.

If it's not stuck, it's not stuck;
It is not possible to hold the piston with grip strength alone when removing a stuck piston.
Even if you wrap Towel around it, your hands will hurt.
You might like Stopper included. which is a little above Class.
I turned the Pliers upright and stepped on them with my foot to remove the grit.
For turning Pistons when cleaning.

It works perfectly fine.
I bought this because I was going to replace the Brake Pads myself and I wanted to clean the Piston.
I wasn't sure if I could rotate it properly because the part that grips the Piston is made of Gold, but no problem at all!
I was able to polish the Piston without much grip strength.
A must for anyone who cleans their own Brake Calipers or rubs out their Pistons!

Very practical
The caliper piston of a motorcycle needs regular maintenance. During maintenance, this tool from Daytona plays a very important role. Add the pistons together and rotate, and it is easy to clean the back of the piston. Very convenient. ---------------------------------------------- Motorcycle piston calipers have to do maintenance on a regular basis. Maintenance time, DAYTONA This tool will play a significant role. sufficient for one's needs
This is a necessity when you fail to rub out a Piston or overhaul a used Caliper with a Single Body.
Because the part that hits the inside of the piston is the iron of GizaGiza, there are some scratches on the surface of the piston, but it does not affect the performance of Piston, and if it can be pulled out by one shot, it is only a small scratch, so I think it is necessary and sufficient performance.

Two (or three) axes are better
I've been using products with a single-core shaft guide
The structure is severely twisted, limiting its use
I think this product is good for GJ in that regard

Pretty good
I used it to clean the Piston on the Brake Caliper
Without this product, cleaning the Piston would be quite a challenge
Thanks to this product I was able to wash the Piston and the Touch of Brake is very good! became

Mostly successful
A must for maintenance of your Brake Caliper
I used to use Snap Ring Pliers as a substitute, but the efficiency is still very different with it is
This is one of the cheapest PistonPliers on the market, but it's perfectly safe to use
I wish these tools could be used for different tasks;

High cost performance
Used for Brake repairs in Private Piston which was stuck and did not come off was turned and come off with these Pliers When the maintenance of Brake is done in the future, I think that I will use it positively I think that the person who does the maintenance by himself is indispensable Items View detail
Performance as expected
Although there was also a little cheaper, I thought that it would be cheap and bad ... I made it made by DAYTONA. Cripion is attached to Grip, I think that it is easy to grasp. I cleaned up the Piston Pin of each of the three Motorcycle and used it, but I could use it functionally in any Caliper (If it matches only the diameter) View detail
Strong, long-lasting making
Simple, making is steady. It is heavy because it is sturdy, but I think that it is a product that you can use for a long time. I think that it can be used not only for two wheels but also for four wheels. View detail
You can use it.
After previewing similar products at the Motorcycle supplies store, I also decided to look at other people's impres. Point decided for this product, because it felt that it was harder to hurt the hand than Cushion of the grip part, or thickness, and other Pliers. I can hold it firmly and turn it.. I do not use it everyday, and assuming the frequency of use, I think that it is a tool that can be used for a long time. View detail
It is tough and long-lasting
I tried it immediately, but it is a simple making, and it is a sturdy feeling. Of course Piston pushed back firmly. I assumed it from the beginning, but when you remove Caliper, it is a good idea to prepare a little table so that Caliper will not be dangling with Brake hose and put it there. (When you do not remove Brake hose) I think that it is not a frequently used tool, but I think that if you have one, I think that it can be used for a long time, so I decided to use Cospa as Point. Caliper piston Overhaul
Since Piston was also exchanged at the time of last Brake Pads exchange, we purchased this tool to try to reuse Piston for this Pad replacement.
(By the way, because last time I pulled Piston with Pliers, it was full of Wound and it was impossible to reuse very)
Even though Piston looks so dirty, I think that I can reuse it because it will be pretty much polished if I remove dirt.
With this tool it is very convenient and economical.
