I think you should buy OEM Parts.

I am not sure if I checked enough, but it seems that OEM Parts are still available and OEM Product can be purchased.
The S1 footpeg is a product of a manufacturer with a lot of gapping (the footpeg rubber on the S1 footpeg has twice burst, the weld on the footpeg has come off, and the regulator has failed so quickly that I switched to PAMS), and the price is not that different from OEM parts, so I think it is better to buy OEM parts. Electric wiring on older cars should be replaced as much as possible, including the 6V MONKEY/GORILLA Main Harness, Regulator, BatteryLEAD, Blinker harness, and Tail lamp.
