If you have it, it's safe.
I use three different types of eif jackets depending on the season.
The mesh jacket I purchased this year had this same chest protector as Standard Equipment.
However, the other two Jackets I purchased years ago were sold separately.
I hadn't paid attention to it before, but I still feel a different sense of security when I have it.
It is easy to remove and only needs to be attached to the Jacket to be worn, but I bought it because having another one would be easier.
I thought it might be a little obtrusive, but once I put it on, I didn't mind.

It was in a used Jacket that I bought at a supply store.
It was installed on a used ElfWaterproof jacket that I bought at a large Motorcycle supply store. It's a solid hard one with a good fit and a good impression. View detail

Chest Protector
Jacket wearing a daughter (RossoStyle) Although I did not write the conformity, I got into the Pocket for Protector without gaps.
I was putting on Dainese 's Chest Protector, but because I say it' s painful, I purchased. Even if it is attached it does not make me feel painful and my clothes are not being pulled by a strange shape.
