Helmet lock
I had been thinking about installing the Helmet Lock Holder, but finally decided to go with METALGEAR, View detail
Cannot be installed with Carrier
Ease of use of Helmet lock is normal
Installation was easy with tools.
Note that if a KIJIMA Rear Carrier is attached, it will overlap the Pipe and will not be usable.
It's about making sure you use other locks.

It does not mount well.
The genuine brake lever and the product are not fastened well, resulting in a part left on the handlebar. To mount the helmet, the direction was reversed. View detail
Good feeling on Design
I was feeling uncomfortable with the lock on the SIDE of the helmet, so I bought it because I thought it was an ideal place to lock the helmet. The lock looks great on the helmet, but since I have a box on my V-SX Cali, I can't hang it on the DRing because there is not enough space to operate it, so I hang it on the band. View detail
Fit as per Image
I had avoided helmet locks on the SIDE because of the possibility of scratches on the part where the motorcycle and helmet come in contact with each other or with the adjacent parking lot.
This is an excellent form of locking on top of the Seat or Carrier, as it is somewhat less likely to get wet inside in the event of sudden rain, and it does not fall off, eliminating the above concerns.
The key position is fixed on the Left Side, so it would have been better if I could have chosen both. The key position is fixed on the Left Side, so there is a possibility that it interferes with the Income mounting position.

Hard to use.
My helmet is SHOEI's X-Fourteen and it is hard to wear. The warning also says "…" for SHOEI's Small D Ring, but I am not sure how long it will last. Smaller than a small lion." It is not stated whether it is possible to install the "A" or "B", but it is difficult to do so. This is also due to a lack of confirmation on my part. There is no problem with installation on the body side.
And this product itself has no Lock Function. It is just a hook. I think this should be mentioned in the product description.

Easy to install with the License Plate space on any motorcycle.
It was installed on a CRF1100L with SIDEPannier.
Since the SIDE mounting type is impossible, I decided to use this License Plate mounting type. I still have a dream of Tandem, so I think it is good that I can lock two of them.
I wish the keys were communal to Left/Right. Also, the base plate is too sturdy and a bit heavy, so it would be great if it were aluminum.

Installed on HarleyEngine Guard
When I leave my motorcycle in the middle of a touring trip, I feel uncomfortable leaving my helmet unattended and unprotected, so I began to consider a helmet holder.
We considered mounting the Engine Guard on the Handlebar because of its appearance.
The only problem is that the Helmet interferes with the Shift Pedal, but unfortunately I can't find any other good place for it.

Use of Helmet lockAssist is recommended.
Remove the Tandem Footpeg Bracket once and install it between the body Frame and Bracket.
Other manufacturers seem to have the same mounting position, but the one made by KIJIMA fits inside the bracket, giving the impression of being Refreshing.
On the other hand, attaching and detaching the helmet is somewhat troublesome, and if you are not used to it, you may tend to hit the vehicle body or rider's tepe, so we recommend the use of the Helmet lockAssist made by the company.
In addition, I am concerned that the position of the Center Stand legs just touches the interior material of the Helmet….
We recommend this product to those who can find merit in its good fit, etc., after comparing it with other products that are attached to the mirror section or handlebar.

It's still convenient.
I bought it because the OEM helmet lock is difficult to use because you have to remove the Seat every time you use it. It is still very convenient.
In the past, motorcycles usually came with this type of key from the beginning, but recently the number has been decreasing. I really hope that OEMs will install this type of key, as it will increase the number of keys.

Less keys is good.
Instruction Manual says to attach it to Handlebar, but I rejected it because it is not a good parenthesis.
I made my own Bracket and attached it to the back of the License Plate.
If you have a helmet holder on your motorcycle, it would be a good idea to put it on instead.
good point
It is a simple security measure that reduces the number of locks and the Helmet can be hung.
Much better than hanging it on Mirror.
A bad point
Numbers are hard to adjust to Small
In the dark, it's impossible without Light.

The product itself is good, but installation is quite time-consuming and the Instruction Manual is not very comprehensive.
The installation was far more troublesome than expected.
The fact that it is troublesome to install means that Helmet may never be stolen because it is difficult to remove.
I installed it myself, but if you are not a self-starter, it is better to install it at a motorcycle shop.

Well! Is this what it looks like?
Installation is relatively easy and good, but it would be better if the base plate were the same color as the body, since it is made of SUS material and is a different color from the body. It would be better if the base plate was the same color as the body. View detail
Standard Handlebar (22.2mm) Mounted on
Since MOTOCOMPO did not have a helmet holder, I added it to the appropriate place in the Handlebar.
Similar ones are sold on amazon for similar prices, but the Bracket is thinner and more flexible for installation.
However, the Fixing Screw on the bracket is exposed, so if you are concerned about it, you may want to replace it with a special screw. (I think the attached screw is just a Hex Screw.)

Good texture, but no longer used.
I purchased this helmet holder because it was difficult to attach a helmet to the helmet holder I had purchased. The quality is good, but it is still a hassle to take it out every time and use it, so I started to hang my helmet without helmet lockAssist even if it is a little bit difficult to put it on. At any rate, I wanted a Holder.
At first, I wanted to be able to fix the Helmet, so I purchased and installed it.
When I installed it, I noticed that I could not reach the D Ring as it was, so I urgently purchased an extension Holder and used it.

A little more Click feeling when wearing it.
The Belt width of the chinstrap was 24mm, with a Magnet stud to hold the ends together at the end of the chinstrap, but it passed through easily with no machining Tomei required.
It is difficult to tell if the Buckle has been installed because there is not enough Click feeling on the Buckle when it is installed. I think this is an area in need of improvement.
Also, there is no Instruction Manual on how to attach it. This is one more reason.
I'll use it a little more and may switch back to the original D Ring…

I would like a little more Click feeling when wearing it.
Installation was surprisingly easy.
I think a sense of Click when wearing it would increase the sense of security.

SV650 Helmet holder installed!
The SV650 does not have a helmet holder as standard.
As far as I know, this is the only product that is exclusive for SV650, so I did not hesitate to buy it.
I often use my motorcycle for shopping and other activities, so I feel uneasy when parking my bicycle without a helmet lock.
The lock body is secured by Plus screws, which are not very secure.
Installation is not difficult at all, as the product is specially designed for this purpose.
However, I feel that the fixation of the locking body and the part to be co-tightened to the Tandem Footpeg would be meaningless without BreakOffBolt.
