Perfectly sized hose for engine breathing applications only
About quality and texture - The 5mm breather hose from SP Takegawa is made from a soft rubber material with no reinforced strands but with a black finish and the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - The 5mm breather hose is perfectly sized for engine breathing applications where you have quite a small barbed hose fitting on your oil catch tank or air filter pod, which I have both of on my Honda Monkey 125 but is only to be used with air systems and not oil or fuel. Products to buy together - The 5mm breather hose does require to be firmly secured to the hose fitting, the use of zip ties is not my preferred method as a permanent solution so the use of specifically sized 9.5mm hose clamps from SP Takegawa is what I would recommend. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the 5mm breather hose is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use a measuring device, cutting tool and sandpaper to neatly finish the hose ends off is how I like to carry out the task for my breather hose fitment. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the 5mm breather hose is no different. I reasonable quantity of 1m with no lapse in quality. About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the 5mm breather hose, I choose EMS for a earlier arrival date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - For my location, purchasing common use products like this from Webike Japan is the best option even when taking into account the shipping cost, as I find local stores tend not to stock products I can use on my Monkey 125 or they are priced higher the majority of the time. Products to buy together, Since you are looking to maximize cooling of the engine then the addition of cooling finned covers for the cam cover and valve covers would be ideal to also have in your cart. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the oil cooler for my installation was easy due to the mounting points incorporated into the upper cross brace that allow for the addition of brackets to attach the oil cooler to the motorcycle very simple. Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of the product is great. You receive an oil cooler that has a superior design and construction for only a small price increase over the introductory priced oil cooler. Products to buy together, Since you are looking to maximize cooling of the engine then the addition of cooling finned covers for the cam cover and valve covers would be ideal to also have in your cart. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the oil cooler kit for my installation was easy due to the kit coming with everything you need to complete the job and the design that perfectly aligns with the Grom and the Takegawa big bore kit. Mounted on APE
It is functioning well.
I took it out of the Cylinder and put it between the coolers, but it feels a little tight, probably due to the Sensor.
With the Rubber hose, the Band looks like a Large amount, so you may not be able to put it on if you are concerned about its appearance.

I purchased an additional temperature sensor.
Damage occurred because the mechanic was clumsy in removing the sensor. It is reusable, but I bought an extra sensor just in case. It is very nice that only the sensor is sold separately. There is no problem with the replacement as anyone can do it. In the future, when replacing an engine failure, I think it would be better to separate it myself or go to a service station. -------------------------------------------------- -------- The mechanic was damaged by the separation of the sensor. It is possible to reuse, but I did not know, so I bought an extra sensor. It is very good to sell only the sensor separately. Replacement is not a problem that anyone can do. Easy to read numbers
TakegawaBore-Up Cylinder is installed in CUB90.
I was able to purchase this product without anxiety because it is exclusive to TakegawaCylinder.
The Plus and Minus are taken from the Coupler Wiring, which is energized by key-on, and the Minus is taken from the Frame. The panel was made by myself and attached to the Leg shield.
The SensorWire section has a linear tension. This prevents the Wiring from contacting the Cylinder, which is pointing upward and heated.
I measured and compared Cylinder temperatures with a cooking Digital meter. There was almost no error in temperature.
I have been using it for about six months after installation and it is working fine even when used in the rain.
The WhiteLED display is very easy to read. The upper Blue numbers in the photo are those of a cheap voltmeter of unknown manufacturer that we had been using for some time. Compared to this, it is much easier to read.
I thought it would be better to buy a neat Meter system even if it costs a little more.
Actually, I am more concerned about Oil temperature than Cylinder temperature. I will keep the Meter as it is and purchase a separate Oil Sensor to use for Oil management. I think it is good that you can purchase different types of sensors and extended wiring etc., so you can change it in various ways depending on the situation.

I used it on a JC75 Grom.
When we installed the Oil cooler on the grom, we also installed this Thermostat at the same time.
It is a necessity to prevent over cool in winter.
There are no special precautions for installation, but be sure not to make a mistake with the Oil IN and OUT.
Now if it were a little cheaper, it would be 5 stars.

If I had known, I would not have bought it.
I saw the Instruction Manual on the ManufacturerHP right after the reservation started and bought it. (I was curious about the notes, etc.)
I received the product and did the work. The work itself was easy. However, the Oil coolerBody and the Sub-frame added from JA65 are very close to each other!
Also, although it is not mentioned anywhere, the price is about three times that of the Oil Element normally sold because of the use of a special Oil Element.
I wish they had at least mentioned it on their website.
The performance is how quickly the oil temperature drops when running. I don't know about the performance of theOthers because I haven't run it during the day yet.

Impressive Oil Cooler Kit for the Grom
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the slim line compact oil cooler kit from SP Takegawa. An all aluminium construction from the cooling core to the guard makes it light weight and strong. About the feeling of use: Looks the part on the minimoto and performs well considering some of the air flow is restricted due to the positioning behind the front wheel. Products to buy together: A clutch cover with oil ports would also be desirable to purchase alongside the slim line compact oil cooler kit if you are still 125cc or the big bore kit you have installed does not have oil ports to allow a connection of an oil cooler. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 30 mminutes. Secure the oil cooler to its mounting bracket and fill the cooling core with engine oil. Now you can connect the oil lines and run the engine to ensure zero oil leaks. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting one heavy duty oil cooler with a guard for a reasonable price that will last a long time as compared to to the cheaper flimsy oil cooler that do not have a guard to protect them from rocks. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght is my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost and it is fantastic that it has returned as an option once again so I can put my money toward parts and not high shipping costs. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.
