cb400sf nc42 Late MODEL
Used on cb400sf nc42 late model.
First of all, one bolt of the crank cover was not long enough for the one I bought, so I had to cut a long bolt and put it on. （I had to cut a long bolt to attach it.)
The other side attaches normally.

Weight saving
The bolt had corroded over time, so I decided to replace it. The bolt is very lightweight, but because it is an aluminum bolt, the Torque specified for M6 is 5N, which is half that of an OEMB bolt. The Bolt is very lightweight, but the M6 specified Torque is 5N, which is half that of the OEMBOLT. It is recommended to apply the included Copper Grease. I think Torque wrench is necessary. I replaced it with a diagonal one to avoid distortion. However, the weight reduction is about half of OEM, I think. I haven't measured it, but it works as far as weight reduction is concerned. I bought this for a dress-up.
It has a nice atmosphere.
Hexagonal Wrench1 pc and Molybdenum are included.
When I rose under the Left Side, what looked like oil leaked a little, but when I removed it, it stopped, so I replaced it as is.
I was afraid that it might be nipped if I applied force to it because it is aluminum, but it seems to be made hard and there seems to be no problem as long as the Hexagonal Wrench is inserted deeply.

Good high strength aluminium
Had these purchased for the aesthetic look on my 7 year old revo engine casing. Love the outlook of it. Every bolt fits accordingly to size and installation was a Breeze. It is Super light in weight as compared to the original bolts however I am not certain if the strength will be as tough as the original ones. Shall wait and see in time to come. Overall a good buy. Torque wrench required for installation
I bought it for Restore of 1998 formula Ducati MONSTER 400.
Engine's Generator cover, Bolt's head such as Crankcase is rusty, and the purpose is to exchange Bolt for better appearance.
Since Motorcycle is red color, I chose Red color Bolt.
【What made you decide the purchase?】
I also thought about arranging the required number of Bolts that match Size including OEM ProductBolt, but anyway the number and type of Bolt are many and the investigation is Large strange.
Purchasing this set was a deciding factor for purchasing that all necessary Bolt was complete.
Set so price is high (5 Quantity : 1 Set of 8pcs. ), But if you think about it per pc it's not too expensive.
【How was it actually used?】
In terms of strength, there are surfaces that you do not know until you use it for a long time. I am planning to conduct periodic retightening.
【Was it difficult to install? (Hard parts case)】
According to the attached Instruction Manual, the tightening Torque for M6 is specified as 5 Nm, and according to it, Torque wrench was used and installed. Galling preventive disulfide Molybdenum grease is attached, apply Grease to threads, then insert and tighten.
Basically it's an easy task, but Torque wrench is essential.
If the tightening Torque is insufficient, there is also the possibility of loosening during running, if you tighten with Overtorque, Bolt will stretch and you will not be able to secure axial force and will loosen or you will not be able to remove it.

Anyway, remove Bolt 1 pc, clean the area near the hole, and repeat the installation. Do not pull Bolt at a time. Also, as I mentioned above, Torque wrench is mandatory.
Since it may be possible that the amount of attached Grease will run out, I think that it is better to prepare Anti-seeds Grease yourself.
Using the supplied Wrench, you can not manage the tightening Torque. It is hang to use neat tool.

OEMBolt (Chromoly, intensity class 8. 8) Manufacturer designation Torque is 9 Nm and 10 Nm. (Depends on location)
On the other hand, the specified Torque of this product is 5 Nm, so it will be tightened with a weak Torque. While saying high strength, it is better to understand that the strength is weaker than OEM's ChromolyBolt.

In the attached Hexagonal Wrench, the original Bolt is not loose (Lick it)
And, in the attached Hexagonal Wrench, Torque can not be managed at installation.
