Genuine JT Sprocket rear for Suzuki GSF650 2005
Purchased this rear sprocket from JT Sprockets along with the front sprocket from the same brand as spare to replace my stock ones when needed. Have used JT sprockets for many years and know they are brilliant quality and do last a long time compared to some other brands. Decided to stick to the oem set up gearing as this is how the bike is supposed to operate. Maybe in the futue I will try a tooth lower in the front but for now, stay OEM gearing. Easy part to find, I was surprised Webikes stocked them really and quite a few different versions for different models and makes. Price was pretty good. Ordered along with other parts so the shipping was good too. Arrived with no faults or issues. The outer box had been sealed with extra tape to ensure, nothing could fall out or escape during transit. Any empty space was filled with air pockets and bubble wrap so nothing could move too much and damage other more delicate parts in the box. The machining of these sprockets is second to none. The spacing for the bolts is perfect. No problems with anything really. I have not found a sprocket that is of high a quality for the simialr price range before. I will stick with JT Sprockets. Have fitted before and know how they go on really easy little job. As I said, great quality parts from a great UK company. Thanks Webike for the great service as always and help with anything I need. Simple and Parenthesis well known to those in the know
■Why did you choose it?
The main riding style is 5-700Km long per touring, with occasional driving events.
Therefore, we chose Steel and Racing Spec. instead of Aluminum to achieve both high durability and light weight.
■Concerning appearance
After all, SUNSTAR's WhiteLogo and "Racing steel." The engraving of "Parenthesis" is good.
The black background is also chic and accentuates the motorcycle.
■Use it!
The OEM for ZEPHYR400X is 42 teeth, but since there is no setting, the assembly was done with one more tooth number.
According to the desk calculation (whether it is correct or not), 108.5 LINK is down to 98km from 100km for OEM 5,000rpm.
The result of the first look is that there is not so much to experience.
In fact, when I drove the car, I did not feel any difference from before at high speeds.
It's getting heavy." On the contrary, the Rear area feels smoother and more comfortable.
However, acceleration was firmly felt to be a full turn faster.
The acceleration at the exit of Corner on the Z900RS was catching up with the acceleration from the OEM42, so even with 1 gun, the improvement in acceleration was
I understand very well.
So, if you change even one gun. You can really feel it." That's what I'm talking about (my impression).
■COSPA
Since it is more expensive in Single Body compared to OEM, it is naturally not cosmetic in SprocketSingle Body.
The overall long life and performance can only be achieved by using a front sprocket and high quality chain that match the quality of the product.
It can be realized and is cosmetically good! It is my theory that it will be
(...If the Chain is shoddy, it's a waste because you have to replace it even though you still have Sprocket left...)
■An aside
If the Hub damper and Bearing are also replaced together, the Rear area will be considerably refreshed.

Higher quality than OEM Product.
[How is it used?
The OEM Driven Sprocket on the SEROW250 Rear wheel that I bought used was worn out like a shuriken, so I decided to buy a MADE IN SUNSTAR Steel sprocket after considering YamahaOEM, A-top, and MADE IN SUNSTAR from the same Damper built-in type as OEM. I purchased a steel sprocket made in SUNSTAR.
Was the one you received as per Image?
To be honest, I didn't care at all about how good Parenthesis looked because I use SEROW's Sprocket for mountain play.
However, the made in sunstar steel sprocket has the same design as the OEM product, but is more carefully made and less expensive than the OEM product! (OEM Parts name for your reference) Rear wheelSprockettsComplete (The price is 18,370 yen.)
If you are looking for a Hub damper type similar to OEM, we felt that MADE IN SUNSTAR is definitely the way to go.
One point of concern is the durability of the Damper section, but I would like to believe that SUNSTAR would be Large sturdy.
Was the installation difficult?
If you are able to remove the OEM Driven Sprocket, you should be able to install it with no problem.
It may be more troublesome to remove the Rear wheel from the body than to remove and install the Sprocket.
How was your experience with it?
The durability of the damper is still unknown due to the short time and distance since the replacement, but other than that, it is no different from the OEM Product.
SUNSTAR enemies include Durability:20,000 to 40,000 km The product claims to be as strong as OEM or Plus alpha.
[Included Parts:were they on?
None, Sprocket only product with one Hub damper, and OEM Product is used (diverted?) for mounting Nut. The mounting nut is an OEM Product.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
The product is of higher quality than OEM Product and rather exceeded my expectations.
Other items that would be helpful
Point and hang of installation
Torque management when tightening the nut?
[Availability and clarity of the Instruction Manual
There are various instructions on the back of the Package, but as mentioned above, it is very easy to understand as it is just the reverse procedure of removing the existing Sprocket.
[ITEMS TO BUY TOGETHER
If the Driven (Rear) Sprocket is worn and replaced, the Drive (Front) Sprocket and Chain are also that much worn, Chain and Quantity:Let's replace them with Set.
[Opinions and requests to Manufacturer
The price is lower than OEM Product, but it is still hard to spend over 10,000 yen in terms of gold coin, so we would appreciate it if the price could be a little lower.

RENTHAL Ultra Light Rear Sprocket 48 tooth for CRF250
When it comes to motocross bikes, I personally think the best sprockets you can buy are always going to be Renthal. Super lightweight, super strong and a vast array of sizes and colours to suit just about anyone. I went for the 48 tooth instead of the 50 tooth just to keep it a bit tamer for the youngster. If it is not suitable I might go up one tooth just to test out myself. Very pleased that Webike stock a lot of different tooth specs and in different colours too. Obviously, the red is going well with the livery already on the bike. Really good value for this sprocket too, around the same as I can get here in the UK but I already had a few parts in my basket and ready to pay for. This spreads the cost of shipping over the order and EMS fast is the service I generally use nowadays. All was packed really well and even though the sprocket is light, it does take up a bit of room in the small box everything was in. No problems or worries with anything getting damaged as Webike pack with additional bubble wrap to keep everything in place. The sprocket arrived and my son saw it before me. His eyes just lit up. The colour is super cool and anodised well, no blank spots, no tarnishing and full coverage. The teeth are super nice and added to the new 520 did chain, this is a winning combo. Fitted in no time, all good and the bike is a little zippier but not totally mental. Happy days. Thank Webike View detail

I bought it because it was discounted.
I thought it would be gaudy when combined with DID's Gold chain, but it wasn't and I'm satisfied!
However, since the Gold is so clean, I am more concerned about dirt and more enthusiastic about washing my WW than I was about the OEM.

Genuine JT 50 tooth rear sprocket for Husqvarna TE300
Purchased the rear sprocket as spare to replace the stock ones when needed. Already purchased the chain for this set up but unfortunately, at the time, the front sprocket was not available on Webike so had to source elsewhere. No big problem as I could actually get one of those quickly just in time for this and the chain to arrive. Large humanized color and excellent cosmetic performance
[How is it used?
The OEMSprocket on a YAMAHA XJR400R was quite worn out, so it was replaced.
I regretted a little bit that I should have done it earlier since the change was made after 38,000 km of mileage.
The number of pins is 45, the same as the OEM.
Cost performance is good, and there is a wide variety of coloring. We chose XAM because of its reasonable price and reliable manufacturer.
Was the one you received as per Image?
It was just as Image.
I was wondering about SUNSTAR, but for some reason I couldn't find 45 guns for SUNSTAR XJR400 in the lineup on webike,
I chose this item because it was on sale at a discount.
I especially liked the colors.
The color is somewhere between Bronze and Gold, and I think it has become a Large Custom with no strange gaudy feeling.
Was the installation difficult?
This was the first time I tried to remove the rear wheel and it was surprisingly easy.
Sprocket replacement is also easy, as it is simply a matter of aligning it with the hole where the Bolt enters.
The only thing left to do is to tighten it firmly to the specified Torque. If you have the proper tools and knowledge, you can do it.
How was your experience with it?
The driving feeling was very light.
This time, the Hub damper and Chain were replaced at the same time, so it is hard to say that this is the original effect of Sprocket, but it is a Large Advantage because it is lighter than the OEM Steel.
Since it is aluminum, I am concerned about its durability, but if it lasts more than 10,000 km, I would personally be very grateful for Large.
[Included Parts:were they on?
Nothing in particular, but I thought there was no Instruction Manual or something like that, but it was written inside the Case.
I noticed it when I was throwing it away and ended up not reading it lol.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
Not so far.
I've read in other reviews that the anodized surface peels off quickly, but I think that's just because the surface seems to be treated with Teflon.
Other items that would be helpful
ITEMS TO BUY TOGETHER:Driven Sprocket and Chain, Hub damper also changes a lot when replaced together.

[How is it used?
For speed in Circuit and weight reduction under Spring.
Was the one you received as per Image?
Yes.
Was the installation difficult?
If you can remove the rear wheel, it is nothing.
How was your experience with it?
First, I was surprised when I held it.
It is so light that one wonders if this is not a Sprocket but a cookie.
I have been using Steel's Sprocket until now, but after replacing it, it clearly runs Quickly.
We replaced various suspension parts at the same time, but I think we had the most exchanges.
The weight under the Spring is Large. Especially for rotating parts, GYRO effect also works, so even a small weight reduction may be effective.

The OEMSprocket is recommended to be replaced every 10,000 km, but I used it until 44,000.
I thought about getting the expensive Gold-colored ones, but since they are still for commuting, I decided to go with the cheap ones.
I decided on the KITACO ones because they are quite inexpensive.
I am satisfied with the quality of the product, which is quite good, despite the price.
Many people lower the number of pins for the rear sprocket on the C125, but since it is a city spec, I wanted to focus more on low speed, so I raised the number by one pin.
The results … were correct and it was a lot of fun to get to 60 kilometers.

Secondary reduction ratio change to high gear ratio
[How is it used?
FZS600 has the Largeest Torque of 6.2kg and Mission's 6-speed GEAR ratio is 1.074, which is enough for practical use but at high speed cruising, the car is running 100km/h at 5000rpm in 6th gear. I decided to change the front and rear sprockets and set a high geared secondary reduction ratio to lower the cruising speed a little more.
Was the one you received as per Image?
This lightweight Sprocket is anodized in Champagne gold. The processing quality is the most beautiful.
Was the installation difficult?
Since FZS600 is equipped with a center stand, the rear tire is floated, the wheel is removed, the Sprocket Nut is removed using the Impact Driver, the OEM Sprocket is replaced, the Nut is tightened using the Torque wrench, and the wheel is re-installed on the Swing Arm. Then, the Wheel is installed on the Swing Arm, the Chain tension is adjusted, and the work is finished. Even if you work at a leisurely pace, two hours should be sufficient.
How was your experience with it?
After changing the Driven Sprocket from OEM 15T to 17T and the Driven Sprocket from OEM 48T to 44T, and changing the secondary reduction ratio from 3.200 to 2.588, 100km/h cruising in 6th gear at 4000rpm became possible. Even with a secondary reduction ratio of 2.588, there was no lack of torque or difficulty in riding, and in fact, there was no jerkiness at low speeds, making the setting easy to drive and fatigue-free. However, the Axel is still too tight and the Axel opening angle increases, causing wrist fatigue, so we replaced it with an ACTIVE Throttle inner pipe 42Φ and compensated by making it High Solo. (OEM Throttle inner pipe is 37Φ)
In the case of FZS600, the fixing method of the Driven Sprocket is NutFixed Type as mentioned above, so both sides of the Sprocket can be used, making it more economical. (With the taper bolt type, only one side can be used.)
Also, the chain size was changed from the OEM 530 to 520 to match the front and rear Sprocket replacement to reduce weight.
[Included Parts:were they on?
None
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
I didn't notice it with the OEM Iron Sprocket, but the DuraluminSprocket has a GEAR squeal, or a squeaky operating noise. the Chain line is straight and not Gap, so is it a Material specific sound? It doesn't bother me that much during the ride, so I leave it alone.

SUNSTAR is still a perfect circle
The front and rear Sprocket and Chain are replaced at the same time, so this may not be a review for Single Body, but for Large Body, I think the Chain Sprocket is replaced at the same time, so please refer to it…
As I wrote in the Chain Review, after the replacement, the push and pull of the Motorcycle became lighter.
This may be a Large effect of Chain, but I still feel that it is somewhat related.
I personally like the slightly understated Champagne gold look, which is very pleasing, not glaringly like XAM.
And SUNSTAR's unique roundness processing technology is also very reassuring for my mental health.
The durability is indeed inferior to OEMetc. steel, but it is a TradeOff of Parenthesis quality and lightness.
Compared to the removed OEM iron Sprocket, the lightness is overwhelming.
If you can agree with that, you will not lose anything by buying it.
I did the replacement by myself, but it is necessary to remove and install the wheel, so if you do not have a certain level of equipment, knowledge, and experience, it would be safer to ask a shop to do it for you.
