Genuine DID Spare Chain Link
I was in need of a few spares for various chains I have in stock and this 520 DZ2 was one of those I stock but have no other spare links. I find it is always good to have spares in stock as even though the original chains do come with a link like this, occasionally they do get damaged and then you are stuck. Finding the right chain link was easy as I just checked down Webike's inventory for the one I wanted. The price Webike have these for is brilliant and better than I could source locally. I did order quite a few different types of chain links as I do stock a lot of various chains anyway. As these were all being shipped together, this also saved on a little postage cost. EMS got my order delivered in 5 days from being shipped. This chain link spare came in a nice DID packaging and was well presented. It came with multiple o-rings and a squish pack of white grease. You can never have enough of that anyway. The chain link is very well made as with all DID chains etc. A nice little stock up is what was needed and I am reassured that I now have spares in case I need them. Thanks Webike. View detail

Non-seal for Racer, surprisingly long-lasting
I used it on my KLX230R for racing and running courses. The non-seal chain has less resistance and is lighter in weight, but I replaced it with this chain and raced the Power Enduro 8-hour endurance race. I think it is possible to choose the non-seal if you are a racer. View detail

Non-seal for use in Race, surprisingly long-lasting
I use it on my KLX230R to Race and to ride on the Course. The lightweight Non-seal Chain has less resistance and is not as durable, but after replacing it with this Chain, I have run 1.5 hours of G650 XCOUNTRYRace, 2 hours of Enduro race, and 10 hours of Others practice run, and it still seems to work well. I feel that this is indeed DID reliability. Another important thing is that the non-seal chain is less expensive. I think I will Repeat with the same Chain for my next replacement. View detail

Non-seal is good!
I bought it because I like Non-seal type Chain.
Friction loss is reduced and rotation is smoother.

It is not durable.
In my case, CircuitOnly, I don't have 2000km and one side stretches badly. I know that the durability is low to begin with, so it is not a problem.
Some people may or may not replace it after one or two Races.

Can't wait to see how it changes!
I'm planning to install a clutch lifter plate by Kitamura on my SL230 clutch!
I just did an Oil change, so I'll incorporate it into my next Oil change!
I have been told from various people that it is quite good, so I am looking forward to seeing how it changes.
I will make an imprementation when I incorporate it again.

You will never go back to Seal chain due to the threat of low Friction.

Comparison with 520ERT2 and 520VT2
[How is it used?
Vehicle used:D Tracker
Driving applications:Off-road, Enduro race
Duration of use:5 runs (about 12 hours)
This product was used when D Tracker was converted to KLX.
ChainMaintenance (Refueling) is per run.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The color of Gold and Black is Large and looks good and satisfactory.
Was the installation difficult?
Since this product is a clip joint, there is no need to crimp or press-fit the joint, making installation easy.
However, the ground needs to be cured as it is coated with Grease.
If they come in contact with the ground, Garbage will stick to them and the ground will be dirty.
How was your experience with it?
DID's RaceChain 520ERT2 and 520VT2 (Driving application:Motard race, Touring) The following are comparative impressions with
Product weight
DZ2=ERT2<VT2
VT2 would also be on the thinner side of the Seal chain, but it was no match for the Non-seal Chain.
・Friction
DZ2=ERT2<VT2
VT2 also had less Friction in the seal chain, but was no match for the non-seal chain.
The difference between DZ2 and ERT2 was not that great.
Life span
DZ2<ERT2<VT2
This is a guess, but ERT2 seemed to still be usable even after 2 Season of use. DZ2 was also not stretched after one Enduro race.
Plating was as good as each of them.
Peace of mind in Touring
DZ2=ERT2<VT2
Seal chain has an overwhelming advantage. However, no matter how hard we drove, the Non-seal Chain's Clip never blew up.
In addition, the above ERT2 (Non-seal Chain dedicated to Motocross) and VT2 (Seal chain for MOTARD and Enduro race) are replaced by DID's Lineup, respectively, but I assume that there is no Large difference from the above impresario in terms of Friction.
This product, DZ2, is for those who want to enjoy off-road driving in a cost-effective manner. We felt that the DZ2 is suited for the use for "Off-road driving with a good cost performance.
[Included Parts:were they on?
Clip joint
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
None
[Maintenance hang].
Non-seal chains have the merit that they can be removed and washed with washing oil, so they can be washed very beautifully if only the waste oil disposal method is carefully considered and implemented.
After washing and drying, be sure to lubricate.
Lubrication should be done after each run whenever possible to extend the life of the chain.
Chain lube for Off-Road or lubricant for CRE556etc. (Although the splattering is great.) can be used to relatively reduce the adhesion of mud and sand.

Non-seal light and refreshing Psycho
I have been using Seal chain, but this is the first time I have tried to use Non-Seal.
I was surprised by the lightness and the smoothness of the chain's circumference.
There is some initial growth and some growth after the race, but even with that, I was surprised by the lightness and the smoothness of the drivetrain.
If you are looking for a lighter and smoother chain than the heavier but more durable Seal chain, the latter is recommended for Off riders, although it may take some time to adjust and clean the chain.
The OEM had a chain top number of 118, but I cut one off and got 117, which was just right.

Clutch's FeeRing is changing!
[How is it used?
I decided to buy this product when I heard that this product would be released from Kobo Kitamura with the same Timing as the change to Reinforced Clutch for xr230.
Was the one you received as per Image?
OEM Parts are processed. The appearance is not so different from OEM Parts.
Was the installation difficult?
The timing is the same as changing the clutch, so it cancels out the need to open the crankcase, but it is a bit of a hassle.
Gasket, etc., must be prepared in advance and must be installed with the specified torque or it will be damaged.
How was your experience with it?
I used to grip the lever to change the Clutch, but after installing this, the Clutch connects smoothly thanks to the Spring being properly engaged.
With the Reinforced Clutch on it, it didn't make it any lighter, but it did take some of the strain off my grip.
Even if you roughly release the lever, it will connect quickly and easily. It became more fun to connect.
[Included Parts:were they on?
Washer is included, so it is a form to incorporate if necessary according to the use.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
Not at all.
I know some people think it's expensive for an OEM, but it's definitely worth it.
This processing technology is a national treasure.

Same as Chain's rating but more reliable than anything.I don't know the difference between G&G and G&B.
This is for Motocross use and for Non-Seal Chain.
This LINK is for their 520DZ2-G&B, but
This time it is used for G&GChain.
WEBIKESite does not have a LINK for G&G in their standard stock.
I bought this from a previous quote and I can't tell any difference between it and the one for G&B.
The difference between these Chains themselves is that the outer Plate and inner Plate are
"Gold&Gold. Or "Gold&GoldBlack. The only difference between
LINK is structurally on the outside, so whichever it is.
It should always be Gold.
So I suspect it's the exact same thing with a different model number. I suspect it is.
In this case, it means that it is used out of conformity, but no matter how you think about it, there should be no structural problem.
We are trying this product with good availability.

If you don't bother with maintenance
We will wash the car and wash the chain every time because it is muddy after driving off-road. We also lubricate. That way, there is less friction and less elongation.
It looks bold in Gold & Black.
However, maintenance cycles such as Seal chain can be used for Friction and Elongation worsens quickly and it is difficult to perform chain maintenance often. If you're not a person who doesn't become one, I think it's just a short-lived Chain.
