It was cheap
I had never used a seal chain before, so I didn't know that a special tool was needed to install the clip, but I managed to do it with the tools I had on hand. View detail

I am satisfied with the change and Large.
I use xt250 3y5 for city driving. The standard Driven Sprocket has 16 teeth, but it had a little too much power. When I changed to this 17-tooth GEAR, the speed of each GEAR became smooth and both driving comfort and riding comfort improved a lot. I have just replaced them, so I don't know how durable they are, but it was really a good decision to replace them. Fuel consumption has also improved by about 10%. There are many good points. DIDChain of Trust
DID 520VX3, Gold chain with 120 LINKs, CBR650F's chain size is originally 525, so this time it will be DownConversion. 118 LINKs, so it needs to be cut by 1 piece.
By the way, I have always decided to use DID when I do Chain exchange. This is because DID, RK, and EK have been the most responsive when I have communicated with their respective Supports regarding problems with the compatibility chart.
I see that 520VX3 is a MODEL that uses XRing instead of O-ring for Seal shape.
In terms of Category, ZVM-X is available on top of VX3 in the case of DID, but the thickness of the plate is thicker here, so it is stronger but heavier. Also, ZVM-X is said to be effective for models over 1000cc and for vehicles running on circuits, but we decided that ZVM-X is inappropriate for CBR650F, which is basically used only for touring, has an engine displacement volume of 650cc, and has no sharp output characteristics. We have decided that it is not suitable for CBR650F.
The 520VX3 has an applicable engine displacement volume of 250 to 800cc, and for the aforementioned reasons, we thought it would be just right for 650cc.
There are three types of plating:steel, silver plating, and gold plating. steel is bare and prone to rust, so it was not an option, but I could not tell the difference between silver and gold. I saw some people saying "choose by color," but I thought that was wrong because of the price difference, so I asked the manufacturer.
I was told that there is a difference between "Steel→Silver plating" and "Steel→Silver plating→Gold plating", and that Gold plating has a double layer of plating, so the plating layer is more durable. Gold plating has a double layer of plating, so the plating layer is more durable.
I would normally try to do the work myself, but I hear that Disk grinder costs around 5,000 yen, CrimpTool around 10,000 yen, and DID Crimp has a degree of difficulty. Even if I buy the tool, it will take 10 years or more to replace the chain next time, considering that it has been 9 years since the car was delivered and the chain has not been fully extended...? If I buy a tool, I might be able to do it by myself after 10 years...but I thought it would be better to ask a store to do it if the span is that long, so I asked Motorcycle shop this time. The labor cost was 11,000 yen including the replacement of the front and rear sprocket.
To be honest, I wondered if I would be able to really feel the Conversion since it is only 5mm wide. However, when I opened the Axel, I felt a slight improvement in the feel of the rpm or the acceleration (I can't deny the possibility of a brush-boost effect). (I can't deny the possibility of a Brush-bo effect.)
Also, at the same time, we are replacing the Rear sprocket with an OEM→SuperSprotex, so we can't deny the influence of this.
The only thing that remains is durability...I can't say anything about this until I continue to use it.

Key to driving force transmission
Replaced an OEM Chain with 13,000km on it, work was done by Shop.
I bought 120 LINK and have it cut to 116.
Compared to the OEM Steel, the Gold color is more prominent and makes the footwear more gorgeous.
Chain lube should be colorless, such as WAKOS or Bell Hammer.
The first thing I felt was the difference in low speed driving.
When taking to the road after refueling at a service station, I was making a slow turn in first gear and noticed that I was doing almost no Axel maneuvering. (I was able to drive at very low speeds with the GSX250R in an almost Idling state)
The difference in the state where power is not produced is probably more pronounced because of the reduction in Chain-derived Friction loss.
Recommended for replacement/upgrade from OEMChain.

Safe and reliable DID
The OEM chain of the KTM DUKE200 is a 112-piece 520 steel seal chain that will last for 20,000 km if it is properly fueled and not used in extreme conditions such as rapid acceleration and deceleration. I guess.
Then, RB replaced it with Steel Non-seal, which is said to be RK's Chain, but it is not so good. I can't complain because it costs 6,800 yen including labor charge, but after 8,000 km, I started to notice the hardened joints and replaced it.
I tried Steel Non-seal for a long time, but it was too fast, so the adjustment was too large, it rusted a lot, and it became hard, I'll try to replace it with a better one this time.
D.I.D. would definitely be VX3 Silver, the successor version of VX2. VX2⇒Upgrading to VX3! VX2⇒VX3 and it was 15,500 yen including labor charge, which seems promising.
The X-Ring, which was also used in VX2, is said to be more durable than the O-ring.
Combined with the Brushbow effect, it is really light and airy.
I chose silver, which is rust-resistant, so it looks cool!
The work kill is a Crimp, so it's a PRO grade, the heart and soul of a motorcycle, so if you have any concerns, have it replaced at a store.

Off-road has Recommendation
I have been using it on my ktm350exc f and it is light enough not to be a seal chain, so I bought it for my 250exc this time.
It was 118LINK, but I have it set to FrontSprocket12, so I did 2Cut.
The durability is Class I. It's Large sturdy for 2 years in the local 10,000-year NA, and it will probably last 3 years, although there is some stretch depending on the Race.
Instead, we always clean and oil the car after washing.
Also, a Crimp tool is needed because it will not fit without a press fit.

*Motivation to purchase
I felt that the top and bottom of the individual LINKs were quite worn, so I thought it was time to replace them.
The 0 distance was also used up to less than 6000 km, including city driving, but it reached 7000 km and practice, because it is used in a harsher environment than usual in Race, Won't it deteriorate quickly?" Because I thought it was a good idea.
0 because I bought the car new in 2014 and have not replaced the Chain once.
The reason was to avoid wasting money for en-bird-ing when the chain ran out during the race.
0Because I wanted a little change in appearance.
Installation You can also find the exchange procedure on the youtubuChannel of Mr. Manufacturer.
0Comparing the pins that were press-fitted into the normal chain, we selected the shortest pin with the least amount of grinding effort, and used a micro grinder to grind it down to the LINK surface.
The initial extrusion was done with Riveter of 0 Chain Tool.
0 Then extruded with 3.8mmPin and cut the Chain.
I have tried to push out a 3.8mm pin without shaving the press-fit pin and without using a Riveter, but the pin was bent.
The Instruction Manual for handling the chain showed a diagram of connecting the cut chain and the new chain with a light press-fit clip, then pulling the old chain and replacing it with the new one, I removed the old Chain and replaced it with the new Chain.
Connect the chain with a light press-fit clip. When connecting the Chain, please do not forget to apply the attached special grease generously.
The LINK is inserted easily because it is a light press-fit, but the groove for fixing the LINK with the Clip does not come out just by pressing it down by hand.
0Chain ToolQuantity:Use the press plate of the set to apply pressure to the Both Sides of the light press-fit LINK to create a groove for the O-ring to fit into.
0After applying moderate pressure once, the groove was visible even after removing the press plate, so the Clip could be inserted with Long Nose Pliers without any problem.
*Feelings after use
When I tried turning the Wheel with the Piston of the Neutral Brake Caliper in the Zero GEAR in the widened state, I felt less resistance than with the Normal chain, and the time it spins seems to be slightly longer.
0 sound is also lighter than the normal chain, as if there is less resistance. (Sounds like Non-seal Chain) The first time I saw a new building, I felt like I was in the middle of the street.
I haven't ridden much since the 0 change, so I don't have a definite sense of what it feels like yet. However, I feel that the inertial progress with the clutch off was better when going over logs/stirs.
0It seemed that the progress on long downhill was Smooth, and the operation felt easy.

New is good.
[How is it used?
I was looking for a gold plated seal chain for my ZX-7R, and I was looking for a moderately priced one, and I came across this Chain.
Rivet Joint (CLF) and Clip joint (CL) The Crimp is a bit of a hassle, but I chose the Crimp because I was afraid to use a 750cc Clip with light pressure.
Was the one you received as per Image?
I have DID gold chains on my RM and CUB that I usually ride. It is always a familiar shine.
Was the installation difficult?
Grinder blows up the dying Chain Crimp that was originally attached to it.
↓
Strike the Graver with the Seal section.
↓
Plate is blown and Cut is completed.
You can use CrimpTool to press Pin, but it's a pain in the ass to break or something, so ….
Crimp used DRC's Chain tool PRO 420-520 Aluminum Cut/Rivet (https://www.webike.net/sd/22054739/) I used this tool. It is quite easy to use. It is also reasonably priced.
How was your experience with it?
The OEM Chain was rusty and kinked and quite resistant to push/pull, but now I can get it to work.
[Included Parts:were they on?
Rivet Joint is included.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
None so far. I would be happy with the durability.

Running changes lightly.
[How is it used?
The used ESTRELLA Chain I got was still in OEM condition and had exceeded the limit of use, so I replaced it with a Sprocket. As for the performance, I chose VXSeries as it is cheaper than high-end models and I can feel the effect of VXSeries because I use it for commuting and riding in the city.
Was the one you received as per Image?
It is in the box, but it felt lighter than the OEM Chain when I held it. The color is Silver, but it is lighter than I expected compared to Plating or iron.
Was the installation difficult?
The joints are CrimpType, so a special tool such as a Kashimaru-Kun is required to cut and install the chain.
How was your experience with it?
After the replacement, the car feels lighter from pushing and pulling. Of course, when running, fuel consumption and acceleration seem to have improved as well, probably due to the lightness. Now I am looking forward to seeing how durable it will be.
[Included Parts:were they on?
Only ChainBody and Joint will be available.
