It's okay, I think.
Has the stop-lamp light been unstable lately? I checked to see what it was, and I suspect it's the Switch or Wiring area of the front brake.
It seems that there is no problem in the energization of the wiring, is it made by OEM Alps Electric? I ordered it to see how it works because the Switch of
The next day it arrived, I was surprised, when I replaced it, the problem was solved at once.
The difference between the OEMSpec. and the OEMSpec. is that the parts around the terminals and near the terminals do not seem to be waterproofed.
If it is used as it is and there is a problem, it will be disassembled, and the contact point and the energizing part will be cleaned, and I think that Maintenance will be done.
When energizing and investigating this time, when lighting is unstable, first of all, it may be the best to suspect Switch, when it is Single Body without installing Switch, it lights without a problem, but when I operate it after it is installed and fixed, it does not light, it blinked and became unstable.
Later, I disassembled the OEM, but it seems to be a distortion of the contact point or inaccuracy, and it depends on a slight angle of Lever to energize or contact failure.
The original installed OEMSwitch is not reusable for safety reasons.
I have experience with malfunction from dirt and degradation carbonization of contacts, but it is the first time that contact failure occurs from a slight distortion of Case or current-carrying parts.
It often revives when I polish the contact points and the energized parts and put them back together again, but it is a part that needs to be operated reliably.

Exactly
I thought that the Front brake's switch is exclusive, but since the shape was similar, I purchased it and installed it Just size. It works without any problem. View detail
