It picks up Noise.
I thought I knew what ShiftTiming was even without the Tachometer.
The re-acceleration is inevitably slow in the SCENE that requires climbing the board.
I purchased it to keep track of RPMs.
While retrofitted, the position and Size are moderate, and the high brightness makes it easier to read than the OEM Speedometer.
However, the Clutch Cable runs through the Shift Up Indicator position, so it is not visible when the driver is riding. (I guess it depends on your body shape …)
Also, as is common with retrofitted tachometers, the rpm may rise or fall by around 500 rpm during cruising.
The performance is sufficient for me as I only needed to know the approximate number of revolutions.
I was able to correct my riding style because I was SHIFT UP at lower rpm than I expected.
The installation is more difficult because the tank needs to be lowered.
The illustrated Instruction Manual is clear and helpful and manageable.
However, although not a problem with this product, we had two problems during installation.
1. OEM Speedometer BracketMounting Bolt stuck at an angle.
It is fixed by biting into the Blinker Bracket and Meter Bracket.
The Bolt on the Meter Bracket was stuck at an angle, making it difficult to replace the Bolt.
(It's mainly Honda's fault since it's due to individual differences in the car body.)
2. occupies the power supply for Attachment (+ voltage shortage may occur)
The power supply for the Attachment provided on the Brake Side is used.
Already incompatible with USB power supply and Cigar socket.
The same thing happens when I make the connections as per the Instruction Manual, but
While the Cell is spinning, it seems to run out of voltage and reboots (re-opens).
The Harness length is long enough to reach the bottom of the Seat even through the bottom of the Tank.
I modified the Wiring to take power directly from Battery and it improved.
The voltage display function compares the voltage at the time of wiring according to the Instruction Manual with the voltage at the buffer.
The voltage seems to be slightly lower in the former. (It is not the fault of this product, but the spec. on the car body side.)

There is no problem at all with the product itself, and I think it is a very good product if it is applied perfectly. When pasting, I degreased and wiped the surface in advance, and then gently aligned the product while pasting it.

Can be mounted on 65 with Small modification.
Since the one for JA65 was not available at the time of purchase, we modified and installed the one for JA55. It is a simple modification since it is just an expansion of M6 to M8.
However, the process of cutting the NORMAL Bracket becomes a bit cumbersome.
After installation, the Meter will be in the center, which will improve visibility and eliminate interference (rubbing) between the Accelerator Wire and the MeterShell.
Perhaps because of the low demand, the cosmetics are not very cost-effective. As one would expect, the price for a part of this size is...

I bought it just in case I had to use Gloves when I got a little dirty or something.
Quantity:2 Set (Super clear and Antiglare) I had a Super Clear, but I thought Antiglare would make it difficult to see the meter, so I put Super Clear on it.
Super clear really looks like just Film; Large is probably sturdy since the manufacturer says it is very abrasion resistant.
It left a few air bubbles, but the Manufacturer The film is excellent in that if there are some air bubbles, they disappear naturally within a few hours to two days. It facilitates a satisfactory installation." I believed it would disappear, but it did not.

I was having trouble without the lid because it seemed to have been lost during removal, and I was able to find a Single Item for sale at Repair Parts.
It is just a Plastic lid, but there is no substitute, so it is a bit expensive.

If Meter could also choose Black.
It is small and fits perfectly to the CL500, however...the installation work is very large, especially the removal of the Headlight area and the installation of the meter bracket and the Clutch Cable. The OEM parts diagram was attached, but it was difficult to understand the location of the bolts to remove the headlight.:I also removed the optical axis adjustment bolt by mistake when I only needed to remove 2pcs... Also, the description and picture of the Wiring to Brake switch has two Wiring sockets and it is difficult to tell whether it is Plus or Minus in the front or the back of the vehicle! The WiringCable is almost covered and it is hard to see the color and pattern of the Wiring Cord in the description. If you are going to remove the tank as well, I would like the power to be supplied from the bottom of the tank in particular. View detail

Never do the installation yourself.
It is absolutely impossible to cleanly crimp this without a press-fit tool.
Take advantage of the $4,000 installation service honestly!

I bought it by mistake….
I bought it for MONKEY and really wanted the MediumMeter but bought the Small by mistake. In the meantime, the Meter problem I was having with MONKEY was corrected. (The cause was CDI.) So, this SmallMeter is no longer needed. It has been in storage for a while, but I installed it in AF24TACT. I need to modify the wiring to install it, and the clock function is reset every time because the constant power supply is not working well, but the function as a Tachometer is working fine with the 2-stroke Scooter. [How is it used?
I originally used a YOSHIMURA water temperature gauge, but purchased it as a repair item because the Sensor's Wiring had been disconnected.
Was the one you received as per Image?
Since the sensor was originally attached, the shape, etc. were as per the Image.
I wonder if it was a problem with the ROD or the spec. at the time. In the Webig image, the Sensor part was red in color and the Connector part was black, but the product I received was gold in Sensor part and white in Connector part.
Although the color is different, I don't particularly care because I could use it without any problem.
Was the installation difficult?
Since it was a replacement for the sensor that was originally attached, we replaced it in the same way as removing and tightening the screws.
It happened that the coolant was replaced at the same time, so it was not that Large strange, but if you try to replace it without draining the coolant, it will be Large strange.

Meter visibility has been improved.
In the OEM condition, the meter panel was almost invisible when a high tank bag was installed, but now the meter panel is visible except for extremely high tank bags. The visibility has been improved, although it is only 35mm higher than before. When I installed the meter panel myself, I realized that there was not enough room in the length of the cord connected to the meter panel, so it could only be lifted 35mm, which is why the current size was chosen.
The problem is that, in my case, the key box is in a deep position because I have also installed a WorldWalk Long Screen, and I can no longer reach it with the gloves on. Also, the price is too high for small parts made from a steel plate. Therefore, I gave it a low rating in terms of cost performance.

Careful work was essential for the softer TPU.
It was affixed as protection against the odd summer heat and direct sunlight.
First, I will list the items that were of interest to me in the work and that I think should be noted.
In addition, it is necessary to prepare a water spray container, a small-size film scraper, kitchen paper, and a paper windshield wiperetc.
We believe that it is better to proceed one by one without haste, except for PROs, so as not to make mistakes.
The first thing to note is that dust removal should be thorough, pointing to the included Kit for a clean finish.
Next, positioning should be done carefully and securely. If this is not done properly, the paste will not be applied properly.
Then, check to make sure there is no TPUFilm left on the release paper on the Meter side! After confirming that there is no residue of TPUFilm on the release paper, spray a large amount of water on the Meter side and the mounting surface to prevent shifting, and then gently place the TPUFilm on the Meter side and the mounting surface.
(I thought this was Large! I didn't notice and wasted the first one with the film still on the release paper...)
Finally, turn up the upper yellow release paper a little and spray it with plenty of water using Spray, then use a scraper on the upper side of the yellow release paper! and then eject the air from the top side of the yellow peeled paper in each direction.
I stuck it on anyway, thoroughly and carefully checking and not compromising.
Unlike the W, this soft TPU film is thin and stretchable, so I thought it would be as easy as the hard film for the W. However, I failed in both the display and the tachometer portion of the first sheet. (Sweat)
The second one was barely successful in attaching both, and the installation process was both a relief and a satisfying experience.
After the application, there will be some white traces until the water dries, but after it dries, the finish will be clear and beautiful.
Maybe the price and the work will protect it well from UV and WOUND.
It has been a year for the W and it still looks the same as when it was applied, so I expect it to be more durable in the future.
