Regulators are consumables.
For the past year,,, my car TW has had certain symptoms.
The small light bulbs such as Blinker and Tail lamp frequently go out... and the Headlight Bulb frequently goes out. 。 The battery also went up frequently...each time I changed a new Valve or battery, but there was no improvement at all.
I thought that the vibration might have caused the Valve to break, but it was so frequent that I became concerned.
I checked on the Net and asked a motorcycle shop, and they said it might be a regulator. I asked a Motorcycle shop....
from the start "Regulator." What is a "what"?
"Regulator." The "PARTS" are the parts that mainly play the role of voltage control and rectification, in other words, they are the organs that mediate the delivery of battery power to the car body.
If there is an abnormality in Regulator
(1) Battery leaking → sometimes smelly (lol)
(2) Headlight is becoming → easier to break.
(3) Charging does not take place → Replacing with a new Battery did not help.
Totally my symptom (laughs).
If this part is broken, high or low current will flow due to the ineffective power regulation.
In other words, in my case, I thought the Light or Blinker was cut off by the high current.
I tried to check the Manufacturer's Sitec. and asked questions directly to the Manufacturer, but they did not give me a clear cause of the problem. It's controlled by semiconductors with no contact points, so it basically never wears out." Responses such as. I guess the→regulator had no way to answer because the lifespan is basically not clarified (laughs).
But in fact, the Regulator is out of order. (Puncture) I do.
After Regulator replacement, symptoms such as battery degradation and blinker breakage were completely fixed. Proven.
According to the motorcycle shop, there were some single-cylinder, medium-sized, and small-type owners like myself who had experienced one failure each among the three models they owned.
"Incidental symptoms..." In fact, the explanation that "the problem is not a problem," cannot be taken seriously. In fact, the Parts replacement improved the situation, and 。 Understand that it is consumable.
Also, Regulator failure. (Puncture) The "H" is said to occur more often in medium and small engine displacement volume vehicles than in large engine displacement volume vehicles. Especially in air-cooled
So what caused it in the first place?
The one that is said to be an improved version of Regulator has a heat sink, which is a heat-resistant spec. added to it, Regulator failure is caused by heat. It is easy to predict that
Is it age-related deterioration, or is it the heat generated by the air-cooled single cylinder?
good point
◎After replacement, Battery degradation and lighting of lights were stabilized.
◎Engine startup is also improved.
◎Axel is now better.
◎Meter movement is also Smooth.
In the end, all areas related to electricity were improved.
It's been 20 years since I bought it used... I don't know how it worked without regulator replacement (laughs).
If you have an older vehicle and the batteries are deteriorating quickly, or if you have problems with the lights, you may want to think about replacing the regulator.
It will be in good shape when you replace it.

Replacement from 3xvOEM Product
While replacing the Ignition coil in 3xv,
I decided to replace the OEM Regulator before it breaks.
Originally, it was easy to stall due to Plug being covered during Idling,
I suspected the ignition system.
Regulator is located behind Rear shock,
I needed a long Hexagonal Wrench for the replacement,
I also removed Seat Cowl,
The fuel tank and air cleaner could be removed and replaced from the top without difficulty.
The product is Blacks than I expected and I installed the terminals on the side without the paint film.
I also sanded and polished the terminals just in case.
It is a little thicker than OEM and Large size, so the original Bolt was not long enough,
A slightly longer Bolt was used to secure it.
There was no Instruction Manual available
My impression is that it was exchanged at the same time as Coil,
Anyway, Idling became stable at 1000~1300 rpm,
I am glad to know that I am not having to worry about CDI or Battery failure.
However, the lack of Torque and jitteriness at startup was not improved!
(It's a 2nd 250, so maybe this is what it's like)
The price is less than half of OEM Product and the quality is better,
I thought it was a pretty good deal.

Boning is not possible.
I was hesitant because the OEM Product is still out there, but I bought it because it is almost 5,000 yen cheaper.
But the mounting Pitch is different. (Short.) Therefore, some ingenuity is required to install the bracket. I bought an appropriate bracket at a hardware store.
The quality looks solid and appears to be fine for what it is.
Incidentally, the existing regulator had a burnt out connector. We recommend replacing the regulator with a new one for those who have not replaced it due to its age.

Idling at a stop was stabilized.
We purchased it for our MAJESTY 125, which we bought used and has been in use for about 2 years.
For the past two months, I have been suffering from idling problems when stopping and engine stop when starting, and I have narrowed down the problem to two options, battery or regulator, and purchased this product.
The result was a success, the Idling was stable after installation of this product, and there has been no stalling since then.
The results are satisfactory, but some knowledge is required to remove the cowl during installation.
Also, "Performance boosting." Not the product. We'll make sure it's as close as we can get to what it was." Since it is a commodity, we do not know if others are necessarily satisfied with the replacement.
So, to be honest, there may not be many people who purchase the product.
However, if your Idling is not stable like mine, or if you stall the car even though it is an AT car, I would recommend replacing it.

Since there are many Regulator Puncture...
This is a replacement from a GeneratorCoil that may be OEM from a 92 ZXR400. I replaced it with the generator which was the source of the power that was probably the cause because the regulator often punctured. Sure enough, part of the generator was burnt out, so I replaced it with a HCraft generator and the regulator has never punctured since then. The generator was replaced with a HCraft generator, and the regulator has never been punctured since then. As a result, I think I got a good deal.
To my surprise, the product arrived at my home in two weeks, despite the current climate. (webike showed delivery date as 3 months away) I think this responsiveness is amazing. The rest is durability. I hope it stays unbroken...
The Regulator is a brand new OEM Product.

I'm glad I sold it.
[How is it used?
I bought this for my XR 250 and MD30.
Because the trouble of the electric system occurred about one month after I bought the vehicle, I looked for the regulator, but there was no supply of the OEM product whether it had already become the category of the old vehicle, and because the used product was not in a new state, when I was troubled, I found it in Pinpoint (for XR 250). Because there was it (for XR 250) in Pinpoint, it was saved.
I thought about substituting another vehicle, but I don't want it to break down again anytime soon, so this kind of OEM compatibility is very much appreciated.
How was your experience with it?
The shape and Coupler were the same as OEM, so it was easy to replace.
Wiring from Body is slightly different, but there is no problem for installation.
Since the Wiring is a little longer than OEM Product, I think that there is not so much a problem as it hesitates only for a moment in handling.
How did it compare to other products?
Not from other Manufacturers, but from other mail order Sites, some of which are cheaper.
Clearly, I can't tell the difference, and I don't know where this product comes from either.
However, I thought it was easy to consult in case something happened because there was a proper Manufacturer notation.
[Points to note]
Since it is not OEM Product, I think it is better to wait and see after installation.
If you are motivated, it may be best to check with Tester.

If you point the Wiring of the Regulator to the outside of the vehicle, the Wiring will be handled better by There's a lot of room and it's easy, but the Pipe of the exhaust system is right below Considering the thermal effect on the wiring, the Wiring is mounted towards the Center side of the vehicle
Wiring of the purchased Regulator is four, and the CRM50 OEMRegulator's Wiring is 6 wires (AC:2 wires, vehicle BodyPlus:1 wire, Minus:1 wire, and (CondenserPlus:1 bottle, Minus:1 bottle)
