There is no correct way to cut.
I bought a second one and tried many different Cutters, but Scissors
I found it to be the best. If you are dexterous, you can use Cutter, Cut
I am clumsy, so I made a protective film for the SeatBack with a commercially available product. It is better to have a paper pattern, though.

It was 3M.
I bought this film to protect the SeatBack of my CBR1000RR-R. Unlike the OEM film, it is easy to cut and good for cowl.
Hard to blend in and become Wrinkle.

Expectations for effectiveness.
I painted a tank and added a stripe on the cutting sheet to protect the area around the ferrule cap. It is very soft, so it is difficult to apply, but if you apply it with water, you can position it relatively easily.
I checked the adhesive strength with a scrap piece of wood, and it was quite strong and did not leave any marks when peeled off.
You can put it near the Key cylinder.

Flexible and easy to apply
The rope inevitably comes into contact with the Cowletc. when the Bag is strapped to the Seat when camping touring, and abrasions are attached. Although the contact part with the Cowl was cured with the curing tape every time until now, when the tape was peeled off, even the paint was peeled off together. I thought that this was not good, and this time I cured the Cowl with this product. Because it is a product of the purpose of course, the appearance was also neat, and it was able to achieve the purpose. However, I think that the price can be a little cheaper. I used this product on a previous Motorcycle at Repeat, and even after 10 years, it has not yellowed or hardened, depending on storage conditions. View detail
Stretchy and easy to apply
Because I put the Side Back on WR250R, I put it on the ZERO-GSide cover
Side cover for construction curing Tape first, and then the pattern production in Magic from that
Cut the curing Tape off well, sticking it to Protection film as it is
Although it is water-based, it stretches very well and can be applied beautifully even on curved surfaces
However, ZERO-G is matte finish, so you can understand that the place where you put it on will be Luster But..
A matted Film would be great too
It is very easy to fit on a curved surface and is recommended to stick it before it gets scratched
We'll see how durable it is, but if it gets damaged, we'll reapply it again
