Power does not change dramatically, but ….
I could do the work myself if I could install the air intake to the product and remove the tank shroud, side cover, and bolted parts on the inside to the air cleaner location. Of course, you are responsible for your own work.
The effect was a little more power at low RPMs, or more persistence, or maybe a little more power. I felt a little more power at low rpm.
The effect is not dramatic, but it is satisfying because it is work that you can do yourself.
I guess the cosmetics are not very good…….

Necessary when washing car
Air box cover, a must-have for washing off cars.
When washing a car with a high-pressure car wash machine, water can get into the FilterBox, so this Cover prevents water from getting in.
One drawback is that the screws on the YZ125 filter are long and difficult to install, as is the case with the OEM filter cover, which is also long and difficult to install. It would be better if the screws could be made a little shorter,

Maintenance around the rear suspension is easy.
When modifying the rear suspension area, removing and installing the OEM air cleaner duct (?) is quite a hassle. When modifying the rear suspension area, it is quite troublesome to remove and install the OEM air cleaner duct (?).

Point and hang of installation
Hexagonal Wrench and +Driver are required for OEMDuct removal.
The process takes about 15 minutes, of which about 14 minutes is for OEMDuct removal (it's pretty tricky).
Installation is only by tightening 3 ScrewScrews.
It looks neat and makes it easier to replace the Rear suspension and install the Side bagBracket.

high level of cost performance
I was concerned about small dust particles because it was an inexpensive product, but once it was installed, there was no problem. I think the cost performance is good because it is definitely cheaper than other companies' products.
It was easy to work with and required no processing. I am generally satisfied.

When I changed carriers, I was using the AirFilter Duct in the opposite direction, but it didn't look good, so I bought this product.
I thought it was a bit expensive, but there were no alternatives and this was the only choice.
The adhesion of the net part came off when the screw was tightened, but it was repaired with adhesive and used again.

It was installed without any problems.
Originally, this product was designed to be used without the OEMRear Carrier, but I was considering purchasing it to remove the OEMAir Filter Cover because the OEMAir Filter Cover was in the way when I loaded luggage in the front with the OEMRear Carrier, and it was difficult to attach the luggage strap for fixing the luggage. I was considering purchasing this product to remove the OEMAir Filter Cover.
There are other similar products, but they are more than twice the price of this product, and there are also some impressions that the position of the mounting screw does not fit, so I hesitated to purchase this product. We purchased this product because of its reasonable price and Webig's product conformity guarantee.
The installation was done without any problems, with no misalignment of the screw hole positions.
The mesh for air intake is bonded under the right side of the product, but it is a little bit messy, and when I lightly touched the mesh with my hand, part of it peeled off.
When the filter is installed, there is a gap between the motorcycle body and the upper back side. Rainwater and insects may come in, but water will escape through the mesh and insects will be blocked by the filter.
Compared to other existing products, it seems to be better, including the price.

Compact and solid presence
The OEM Air Cleaner Duct was installed in a highly waterproof location, but because of this, when strapping it to the carrier, the duct cover was in the way and there were areas where it was not possible to strap it on. I bought the duct cover because it was too bulky and when I removed it, I needed to plug the hole where the duct had been stuck.
The size is about the same as an OEM DuctHose cut in half, so it's not obtrusive, but it's also fashionable with a subtle statement.
The Stainless Steel polish looks better on a Red body than on a Khaki body.
The installation process is simple, but I think it is relatively easy since it is a step-by-step replacement of the Air cleanerFilter.
The fixing method is a pot bolt on a flange nut, but I applied Screw lock to prevent it from loosening.

I was hesitant to go with the cheaper Carbon Style, but I decided to go with this product since it is so much more convenient.
I removed the side cover and lifted the tank a little before installing it, but it looked like I could put it on without touching the tank.
I am glad I put it on because of the texture.

I changed to Mr. Mukawa's Air Cleaner and purchased and installed it together because I thought it would be better than not having it when it suddenly rained if it was left bare. I don't think I need it because I basically don't ride in the rain, but it looks good and I am satisfied with it. View detail
Cover for Round Taper Air Filter
About quality and texture - Excellent quality, nice smooth water resistant material with silver Takegawa logo. About the feeling of use - The fitment over the air filter could be better, I find it is a little loose at the narrow end of the taper. Products to buy together - If you have removed the standard airbox to install this type of filter you may also be needing a breather filter, Shift Up offer a nice one to match, product # 211808-10. Difficulty of installation - Simple install, takes 30 seconds to slip it over the air filter. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I consider these expensive for what you get but they are priced similar to air filter cover from other brands. About shipping and packaging - Ttem arrived safe due to the great packaging. Combined sea freight shipping to Australia is good value but does take around eight weeks to arrive so make sure you are not in a rush for yoyr parts. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - With the cost of the air filter and cover you might be better of buying a cleanable water proof air filter from Sprint Filter. View detail
SP Takegawa 42mm Round Taper Air Filter Cover
I purchased the Special Parts Takegawa 42mm round taper air filter for my next DIY air intake project which will be closely mounted off the throttle body and wanted more protection from dust and moisture so I also purchased this air filter cover. The price is reasonable as it will extend the life of the air filter and protect the engine from moisture. The quality of the air filter cover is excellent but I am not completely happy with the fitment of the cover on the air filter as it is a little loose but I think once it is mounted up on the motorcycle it should not be as noticeable to me. Wash the inside of the Air Box

I bought this product because the inside of the Air cleaner box was dirty and I wanted to wash it when I was washing my car I can wash the inside of the box with a high pressure washer and it prevents water from entering the car

Muddy Air Box can be washed with Beauty
When doing an off-road it is always better to get muddy as well as outside. If you use this you remove the Air cleaner and do a lid with Packing so you can wash the dirty Air Box with a high pressure washer (Although water droplets may enter somewhat).
Corresponding model was for YZ 250's 13 MODEL, but 17 YZ 250 X can also be used without difficulty.
