Super cool with the Solo seat!
If you're going to put on the JvB Moto Solo seat, I'd say the Center cowl is a must.
There is no use for driving without it, but it will be put on if you think about Design because it will be skewed between Tank.
First of all, it is necessary to cut off the BodyTank Side Cowl.
It comes with a sheet of paper for cutting off the seal. Attach it as instructed in the Instruction Manual, and cut off the unnecessary parts.
I bought a cheap Leutor from Amazon and cut it carefully, no problem.
If you can't do the work around here, ask Shop to do it for you. The cutting surface is basically hidden by the center cowl, so you might be able to get away with a messy job.
And the actual connection to the Side cowl, the Instruction Manual says to drill a hole with a 3mmDrill and stop with the supplied Tapping!!!
I'm afraid of cracking the bottom hole. I'm afraid of cracks even if I drill a hole.
If I do not make this part easy to remove, when I remove the Side cowl, I always have to remove both Sides together, so I did not use Tapping, and because I had a Push rivet of appropriate size, I made the bottom hole a little large with Footpeg Drill to fit it, and connected 4 places. I connected it.
Because it is the one which is often used for the connection of Cowl originally, there is no problem in the vibration etc. Because the tapping of the attachment is Silver and stands out in my body color, it was GOOD that I changed it to the Rivet of Black in style.
Also, it is assumed to be Large, but Color:It is Unpainted. it is in the state of Gel coat of FRP.
I left it to the paint PRO to match the body perfectly.
Candy paint will cost you a fair amount of money, but I can gladly pay for this finish myself, as I don't have the time or skill to do it myself.
