Genuine Driven D-Axis HALO Fuel Cap for MT07 2017
It was time to show the MT07 some love and I had always wanted to get a keyless fuel cap, so went for this gorgeous Driven Halo D-Axis one. This fits a lot of different Yamaha models from the last 5 or so years, maybe a little older. I went for the blue on black and to be honest, the pictures do not do the cap justice at all. I found the correct part from Driven webisite. This worked out around the same price as I could source directly from Driven but they did charge a lot for direct shipping, so of course, Webike was my choice for this reason. Along with a few other parts, the order was shipped using EMS fast and arrived in the usual 5 days from shipping. The parts in the outer box were all nicely packaged and even though this was a weird shape, it clearly did not move in the box as nothing had any damage at all. This kit has a nice matt finish which goes really well with the bike's matt tank. The blue is a stunning contrast to the matt black and this really does stand out more than you would imagin. Fitting was fairly straight forward, just unbolt the old, and bolt in the new. The screw cap is not tricky to add. All the threads are perfect, nice and smoooth action. It nips up pretty tight but if you are wearing leather gloves, you can still get it undone without removing your gloves. End result is awesome. This looks so much better than the one that came on teh bike originally. Veyr very very happy customer and happy bike. Great stuff Webike, thank you. View detail
Superb Looking Sprocket Cover for the Grom
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the sprocket cover from Driven. Made from aluminium with a low profile design makes the sprocket cover extremely light weight. About the feeling of use: This sprocket cover looks superb on the Grom, a huge improvement in everyway over the Honda sprocket cover. Products to buy together: A silver drive chain would also be desirable to purchase along side the sprocket cover to add even more appeal to this area on the Grom. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 15 minutes, remove the two mounting fasteners from the Honda sprocket cover will allow it's removal and then use the two spacers and two fasteners from Driven to install their sprocket cover. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: High costing but you are getting a beauitfully designed cover made from quality aluminium stock as compared to the plain looking and cast sprocket cover from Honda. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently unavailable due to Japan Post. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: Available in a range of colour finishes to suit your Grom's styling. View detail
Sprocket Cover from Driven
* About quality and texture, Made in the USA this sprocket cover is machined from aluminum and anodized in silver with the finishing touch of the Driven logo laser etching. * About the feeling of use, The addition of a silver cover on the black engine looks great and I really like the design of the Driven sprocket cover with it's open holes to expose the drive chain. * Products to buy together, Some silver timing and generator hole covers will add to the look, Driven also have these available in multi colour options to suit their sprocket covers. * Difficulty of installation, Installation is simply just removing the 2 bolts from the Honda OEM cover and fitting the Driven cover with it's included hardware. The process was completed in 10 minutes with no difficultly. * Cost performance and comparison with other products, There are much cheaper options from the likes of Tanaka Trading but I much prefer the design and colour options of the Driven sprocket cover. * About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 8 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems. * Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, Driven make quality products and you will not be disappointed in this sprocket cover. Fits: HONDA GROM [Grom] (MSX125), HONDA GROM [Grom] (MSX125)
Stylish!
A company in the US called DRIVEN seems to be a sponsor of the MOTARDTeam! But it's not just Mini bikes such as the Grom and Z125, it's also the middle class We have developed and sold a variety of dress-up and functional parts, including a motorcycle. It looks like a manufacturer, and if you look at their home web site, they have quite a variety of parts available! It's not MAJOR in Japan, and it takes a long time to get it, so I'm not very proactive. I don't think the Manufacturer would choose to
I chose this Sprocket guard because I couldn't find anything else that was better. I've posted a lot of pictures of it, so you can see if you look at them, but first of all, the Grom Black Material:Plastic's Sprocket guard is a very nondescript and cheap thing. It doesn't have any surface treatment, so it's already got a lot of fine scratches from being rubbed by Boots and has lost its luster. This is a plastic part. I would like to change this part which is known to be plastic at a glance, but for some reason it is a FOR PartsManufacturer of the JAPAN MODEL is not very active in the development The same shape Material as OEM:CarbonGuard is produced by TYGA PERFORMANCE in Thailand. And this DRIVEN Material:I was torn between AluminumGuard. The deciding factor was the choice of Gold alumite. However, there was a Large problem with the other parts of the same DRIVEN that I ordered separately. (It's not a very gold color tone). I'll have a report on that part in the near future, but because of those problems ( (By the way, that problem has been solved! I was worried about this part until it arrived. Also, the shape of this Guard is so different from the OEM, so I'm not sure how on earth It's hard to imagine what it would look like to install it, isn't it? I looked for images of the grom, but I couldn't find any (only 1pc. was available). The web of DRIVEN itself has only a picture of the part Single Body, and the installation Image of There is no offer. Thank you, the overseas manufacturers are still Japan's manufacturers It's not as kind as it sounds. You have to be prepared for that sort of thing beforehand, but I'm happy to find a good part, and yes I'm looking forward to introducing parts that can't be found anywhere else to my motorcycle. It is.
I was relieved to find that the parts I received were almost exactly what I expected. The color tone is a little more yellowish than the other Gold parts, but it's bright enough and Because the processing is also beautiful, it is sufficiently high quality if it sees it in a part Single Body. The price is also respectable, so of course it's to be expected. So, I installed it through the special collar with the plate screw bolts that are supplied with it. It is secured using the Screw hole that the OEM Guard came with. So, installation is basically simple, the screw holes are in the Offset position. It fits the OEM position just right. As you can see in the Image after it's installed, this oddly shaped Guard is brilliant. It becomes like fitting to Motorcycle. I think it's quite an excellent design.
When I removed the OEMGuard, it was so dirty inside with gold dust and chain oil. I used Chain cleaner to carefully clean it on this occasion. After cleaning, of course, I put on the Chain lube. Then, the curved C-shaped plate of the genus Gold that is inset into the OEM Guard ( (Chain Guard) and carefully clean it with this DRIVENSprocket. Co-tighten it to the The plate screw used for installation is a heavy M8 screw, but it is a 4mm Hexagonal So there is a high risk of licking it when you torqued it. Be careful, I know it's a design reason, but the M8 Cap Bolt that uses 6mm It is safer to do so.
The finished product is as you can see. The vibe is so different, it's a mechanical beauty! I like it very much. After all, there is a lot of Garbage around the sprocket, so you need to take it off and wash it sometimes. I think there is. It may be a bit Large strange to keep it clean.
If you see this picture and think it's a good idea, you can install it with no problem, so I think you should definitely consider it. It's a bit expensive and you'll have to wait for it to arrive in about 3 weeks. It's a bit expensive, though, and you'll have to wait about 3 weeks for it to arrive. It comes in a variety of colors, so you can match it to your motorcycle's color. I think it's a good idea to Coordinates.
