To repair the Motorcycle seat anchorage & seating!
Since I have repainted several Motorcycle Seat fabrics, I thought I would try to do the same for the inside of the Seat! I decided to take on this challenge. The result was Large satisfaction! This sponge is really easy to work with (easy to cut with scissors), so you can easily use it for anchoring and repairing scraped (rotten) Seat sponge! I had some left over and used it to repair the sponge on a worn out seat chair that I love, and it worked fine too! The price is cheap and I will replace this sponge every year from now on! The KDX220 I purchased used was not in bad condition for an old vehicle from the 1990s, but the seat cover was in a slippery condition because the surface had begun to harden, probably because it was from that era.

How did you like it?
As a universal product, it is not as good as the Seat fabric made by a three-dimensional manufacturing process for each car model, but I personally think that the KDX Seat itself is not a complicated shape, so I was able to stretch it well.
The new fabric is highly flexible and the dimpled finish gives it a high grip, so you can enjoy riding without being carried back and forth every time you accelerate or decelerate.
To be honest, I wanted to stick with the OEMSeat Cover, but after looking at the price, the thickness of the fabric, and the condition of the finished product, I felt this product was sufficient.
How did it compare to other products?
There are few choices in terms of car models to begin with, and other products are expensive and have stopper belts sewn into the seat surface. I mean it!" I couldn't choose one because I had a strong feeling that it would be embarrassing to me, as I have poor driving skills.
What points should I pay attention to?
Patience and ingenuity are required because the products are not three-dimensionally sewn for car models.
If the tucker is driven in too shallow, there is a risk that the fabric will break from the tucker.
Front and back of the Seat are loosely secured to the Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) When pasting the "Beauty" sponge, it should be pasted along the "Seat sponge" without wrinkles to make it beautiful.

I used it on Cushion for a chair.
This is the third time I have used this Seat sponge.

The third time I used it to improve Cushion for chairs.
The Cushion for home use has a very soft and thin Sponge, so it quickly becomes floppy.
Therefore, we decided to substitute the Sponge with this product, which is a urethane product for motorcycles.
First, take out the Sponge inside from the Cushion.
Shape the eyeNetSponge to that same shape.
Cutter knives are often used to cut urethane sponge, but it is always hang to use new ones. If the teeth become even slightly rounded, the sharpness will deteriorate.
This time I cut it with Large type scissors because it is thin.
Two sheets were not enough, so I also used leftover eyeNetSponge that I had saved.
Bond is used to attach eyeNetSponge.
When the shape is the same as the original Sponge, place it in Cover to complete the process.
Feeling of use
Hmm? Better, but still not good enough.
Songe lacks thickness.
A thickness of 2 cm does not seem to be sufficient to create a comfortable seat that wraps around the buttocks.
If the thickness is 4 cm, the seating comfort would be satisfactory.

Bad accuracy
Purchased as a replacement for a Gasoline leak from an OEM cap.
The installation itself is completed quickly with three Bolts.
The lid was slightly lifted, but since it was an Other Brand Product, we thought it was inevitable.
However, once the lid is opened, it is so inaccurate in its construction that no matter how hard it is pushed in, it will not lock and the key will not pull out.
Rubber packing was the same shape as OEM, so I used it to replace the OEM cap. The Gasoline leak was fixed.
It would be good to use it as a parts holder for Packing to be used for OEM, but it is not cosy to pay almost 4,000 yen just for Packing.
