Very Good Quality
Great quality of the materials, skid plate is well protected and all the components individually packed. Looks great in my Grom and does cover a good portion of the engine. Highly recommended! Unfortunately the installation manual received was in japanese, so needed to google all the instructions to be clear on all instructions, but wasn't a big deal. Special note for those who installed a custom exhaust because it may not fit. I do have a Vanes & Hines hi-output Hooligan, and needed to modify slightly the bottom holding bracket to ensure won't damage the exhaust pipe, but even with 3 of the screws holding the skid plate is very solid. KITACOSide Stand Switch Canceller
I am switching from an XSR900 to a Majesty S. I was stressed that the engine would cut out if I did not put up the center stand even for a short stop, such as to buy a can of coffee. I had ridden a Cygnus 4, but the Cygnus had an exposed side stand switch, so I had to change the angle of the switch to accommodate it, but the Majestic S had the switch covered by a cover, so I bought this product. I was worried because I had broken my nails many times when removing and installing covers on scooters, but I gathered information from Net, bought a spatula for interior removal, and took the plunge. When going to remove the covers, I used Baki!" The Blue coupler was easy to find, just as Net had said it would be. I am not used to doing this, but the most difficult part was the separation of the coupler. The claw part is on the reverse side and not visible. It was also difficult because the coupler cord was just barely long enough to prevent finger movement. I don't need this coupler anyway, so let's just cut the nail off this one already." I then used small nippers for plastic models and carefully scraped off the nails so as not to cut the cords, and finally managed to separate them. I was looking for an Under Guard and decided on KITAKO's Under Guard because of its design, large size, and material.
It is well made and easy to install.
I am very happy with the KITAKO cutouts on the Guard, which have a good parenthesis and look great on the Grom.
When the weather gets warmer, I can't wait to try touring and riding on forest roads. I am looking forward to my motorcycle life in the future.
I am a little concerned about the strength and durability of the Guard, but this is up to the rider and will not be known until it is used for a long period of time.
