YZF-R6 Rearset modify
Basically, the connector is included, but it is not compatible with the YZF-R6 and requires separate work. It is good except that additional work is required. View detail
This is the cause of RearStop-lamp non-lighting.
Motivation
After the Brake pedal was modified on my GPZ, the RearStop-lamp stopped working. The cause was that the Pressure switch was out of wiring. I purchased the Red color in stock.
Was the one you received as per Image?
No problem
Was the installation difficult?
Installation DIY process.
? First, we covered the wiring with a WiringRubber tube because the wiring would run out if the wiring from the Bolt was too thin and bare to be installed in a vehicle.
Bullet Type Terminal Installation
Replacement of banjo bolt that is out of wiring and installation of a new one.
? Caliper air removal as needed
Pedal step and Stop-lampOK
How was your experience with it?
This is the third time I have replaced the pressure switch, and I am relieved when the stop-lamp comes back on.
[Included Parts:were they on?
Supplies for the banjo bolt were included.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
The price is too high. I don't know if it is not popular, but I bought it because Red color stock was the cheapest. As a result, I am glad that the Red color became One Point.
The wiring is very thin. The coating is also thin, so this is a durability problem and can be easily broken.

Pressure switch for appearance
Since I had installed Rear Sets, I used to connect OEMSwitch and Brake pedal with Tie Band, but I changed to Pressure switch for appearance.
However, Torque wrench only had SocketType, so after some distress, Wiring was disconnected once.
After installation with Torque wrench at the specified Torque, Wiring was solder-attached.
At that time, the original Wiring was Limit in length, so we replaced it with a Cable that we had on hand and lengthened it.
The soldering points are insulated, and the base of the wiring is covered by a protective cap that was attached to the brake hose purchased at the same time, for durability and waterproofness.
For the wiring connection to the car body side, the supplied Electro Tap was not used, but a Bullet Terminal was processed.
Crash washers were made of copper, so we ended up not using Included Parts:except for SwitchBody.
Some people say that the Pressure switch is slow to turn on, etc., but I don't particularly care.

because it is not bulky
I bought it though it is a little expensive, because a certain Oku very cheap C-Koku made one became useless in a week. I think it is good because it is thin and not bulky.
Pressure switch itself is a consumable item, but I am looking forward to seeing how long it will last.

Trusted Manufacturer!
[How is it used?
I used it for my HORNET 900.
The OEM is MechanicalSwitch, but I replaced it with a BremboMASTER from DUCATIOEM, so I need Hydraulic Switch.
Was the installation difficult?
If I remove the banjo bolt after siphoning off the Fluid in the Reserver tank, very little Fluid spills out.
I connected it to Wiring, which was connected to the OEM MechanicalSwitch.
How was your experience with it?
The Stop-lamp was properly illuminated.
I think the glowing Timing is also normal.
I thought the price was a little high.
[Included Parts:were they on?
It has a Wiring Interrupt Type Connector. (The one that you snap into place.)
Nothing should require separate purchase.

I'm hoping for durability & sigma; (^_^;)
It is a spec. change from OEMSwitch to hydraulic pressure by equipping Rear Sets of for Race because I use it for town riding and Circuit Running. But … The disconnection which is thought to be caused by the step work while running, FluidOil leak, and whether the DRC product has half a year or not. The construction of the strength UP near Wiring is countermeasure along with changing the Manufacturer from this time. I want to expect whether the countermeasure comes out as good luck. View detail
the expendables
I knew that hydraulic pressure switches have a shorter life span than mechanical.
I was using this product along with the Rear Sets.
Ordered early in the morning the other day because the lights were defective during the pre-ride inspection. Arrived the next day.
It was in stock and I was able to ship it out yesterday, which was great.

Good!
When I changed the Rear Sets on my GSR750, I couldn't use the original Brake switch, so I bought this product.
As it turns out, the description also says Oil pressure sensitive brake switch for use with RACINGMaster Cylinder in Competition modeletc. As the description says, it has a simple structure, but the dull sheen of Stainless Steel is neither too obvious nor too subdued for the gold frame, but it is just the right balance to give it a sense of presence.
Installation is also very simple, just replace the Banjo bolt.
The Minus point has not caused any problems personally, but I think that the film of Wiring, which may have some stepping stones etc., could have been thicker.

Performance as expected Expected durability
I bought the Active one with high hopes because the one I was using before was ruined
The performance is exactly what I expected, it lights up at a good intensity when I step on the Brake The texture of the Stainless Steel is perfect Now I just need to look forward to the durability
The disappointment is that the Wiring is short as others have, so I extended it with a solder attachment The other point is that the base of Wiring is unreliable I reinforced it with a gun and Colgate Tube
Also, it's a matter of taste, but since the Wiring color is Red, depending on the color of the car, it may be noticeable that it is Black It was good If I'm being a little picky, I'd say that the Red of Wiring is a Plus and the Black of Wiring is a Plus There are a lot of Minus, and since the Brake switch is MinusControl, it is Black Isn't that enough? LOL!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the durability So far, the other manufacturers have been failing every two years ( ´;p; ∀;p;) hmmm

Along with Rear Sets
When I converted it to Rear Sets, OEM's Brake switch almost ceased to be attached, so I bought this item.
I expect durability because the price is cheap compared to that of other Brand's and that it is DRC for Brand for Off-road.

Caliper's Screw Mountain Length and other confirmation required.
This time, due to change to FRANDORadial master cylinder, I purchased this item this time.
MASTER is FRANDOMaster cylinder 19 mm, Brake hose is GoodridgeQuantity : 2pc, Banjo is also Straightless Steel Type Straight banjo Quantity of Goodridge : 2pc vehicle Spec. It will be.
When temporarily assembling a hydraulic switch and other Banjo kind to Caliper before replacement, it is in a state not tightly closed tightly like the image.
I thought about cutting threads by about 5 mm, but because it is Stainless bolt, eventually Crash washer (copper
Washer) Originally Three Outside Quantity : Set of 2pcs. Even though it was in a state where securing of the hydraulic line was possible, we assembled it with a total of 5 pieces in each of the outer two pieces.
→ Please do not do it! ^ ^ ;;
Wiring of the Switch itself Red color Wiring is Quantity : Although 2 pc has come out, Switch operation, since it is simply ON ⇔ OFF, it can be used without problem even if it is connected to the vehicle.
Electro Tap for Wiring branch is also Quantity : 2pc. Set comes with, but when you branch off from the Wiring side, the bifurcation becomes thicker, but the car Both Sides was the same as the NISSIN 's Switch, a flat Small terminal, so also this flat tip terminal Small sized terminals were attached and flat type connections were made.
I also thought that the Lever operation would be slightly more responsive as a result of installing a hydraulic switch, but the area to receive the hydraulic pressure is also small, and the River STRIKE 750 in China is Street youth only, so especially the Large change does not change and hydraulic pressure Switch did not have any problem at all.
Banjo bolt will be long, so if you have a margin in the installation space, I think that it is a product you can recommend as it is easy to work with Bolt exchange only.
I think whether the goods themselves are convenient and good, but those who purchase are advised to purchase considering the thickness of the installation part of MASTER and the thickness due to the difference of Banjo's Manufacturer to use!

Hydraulically from Mechanical
When installing an external Master cylinder,
Because the dedicated Switch kit is expensive and has no universality,
"Let's make Universal's Hydraulic Sensor usable even after exchanging MASTER"
I came up with this hydraulic switch of this DRC.
It is relatively inexpensive compared to other companies, Manufacturer is also strong against off-road (?) We are expecting strength as we develop Parts.
Since it is not Mechanical, it responds with Fluid pressure instead of Lever's pulling amount, so the lighting timing of Tail lamp is delayed as compared with Mechanical.
It seems that the switch reacts around a little grasping.
Since SwitchWiring is extending from the Banjo part, it was extended along the Brake hose to the vicinity of the Switch box.
Wiring beside Switch worried about something's rhythm that Tire and plants would contact and break.
Material : Be careful when tightening because it is Aluminum.
Aluminum Crash Washer comes with.

I bought it because my OEM hydraulic switch dropped dead.
The hydraulic switch itself is compact and doesn't take much space when its mounted.
The screws included are made from aluminum and are light weight, but they're too long to use so I used the stainless steel screws that I was originally using.
It would be much better if the hole for the wire lock was a little shorter.
When I used the washer included, the fluid wouldn't stop leaking so I had to use the original one. It might have just happened to be a misfit.
But it made me disappointed.
There are no activating problems and I like the style.
As for the rest, durability maybe a concern.
I made a comparison examination with mechanical switches, but they were too expensive and most of them have to have switches adjusted when the lever is relocated. Also connections are exposed and it makes them look cheap. That's why I chose a hydraulic switch.
It was easy for me to replace the whole thing and degas it than to go through regulations.
I did have a little hassle when mounting but altogether happy that I chose this one.
