Is there a problem with being thinner than OEM?
I'm sorry I couldn't provide a photo, but when I used it on my NINJA2 Helmet 50RSL, I compared it with the OEM one, and the shaft part that holds the pad is clearly thinner,
The measurements were taken from the OEM, so they should be the same diameter." This was the case
I have a question for those who are familiar with Brake, is there any particular problem with the thin shaft part?
Has anyone who bought the same Stainless Steel Pad Pin had a similar case? I would like to hear your opinion. Thank you in advance.

More rust-resistant than OEM Product
I used this for an overhaul of a very old OEM Caliper. The previous owner had maintained it to some extent and it was not so badly worn, but I wanted to assemble it in a new and clean condition if I was going to overhaul it. I chose it because I wanted to assemble it in a brand new and clean condition. View detail

Expect durability
The Rear Brake Pads had uneven wear, and in the process of reviewing the various parts, we decided to replace the pad pins as they were deteriorating.
The OEM pad pins were only a little over a year old before replacement, but some of them were corroded and pitted.
I thought about ordering OEM again, but this time, after about a year of damage, I decided to try Stainless Steel Pad Pin, which is supposed to be more durable than OEM.
I checked the Pad pin I received, it was nicely finished, dimensions Exactly, and the surface was smooth compared to the OEMPad pin.Material.:It is Stainless Steel, so it should be resistant to corrosion, and I would expect this to be durable.
The work was completed by removing the rear caliper, pulling out the OEM pad pin, applying molybdenum grease to the new Stainless Steel pad pin, inserting it into the caliper, and putting the caliper back on. This time, I had to remove the rear wheel for other work, so it took a little time to complete the whole process, but after the work was completed, there were no problems and the rear brake was working properly. The rear brake seemed to work better, but I think it was just my imagination.
It is a slightly more expensive item than the OEMPad pin, but if it lasts as long as expected, I think it is a good buy. I just installed it, so I don't know if it is as durable as expected, but from the looks of it, it looks promising, so I am glad I bought it so far.

It's good because it lasts a long time and is hard to handle.
[How is it used?
It was installed on the front caliper and rear caliper of a YAMAHA TZr50R under restoration.
I thought the Pat Pin was rusty because it was an abandoned vehicle, but it was in beautiful condition thanks to this product.
Was the one you received as per Image?
We disassembled Caliper and cleaned it lightly, but it was clean enough to be usable as is.
Once again, it was a good price to purchase the product, so it was helpful. I like that it is durable as a product.
Was the installation difficult?
For those who can tinker with Caliper, I don't see any particular problem.
How was your experience with it?
I can't get a feel for the performance, but it seems to be fine.

Stainless Steel will not rust.
OEM pad pins are made of steel and rust quickly. This product is rust-free and easy to maintain. Iron pad pins can absorb things like iron sand, and if not maintained for a long time, they can absorb dirt and become inoperable. The pad was worn out because it had been neglected. I hope it will be replaced and the pad will no longer be worn off. View detail

OEM has been reduced and replaced.
If you're going to replace it anyway, Material:I made it to Stainless Steel
I like that it comes with a Cap.
In OEM, the cap is a minus screw and the pin is hexagonal, so it is very convenient to be able to use the same tools.
I just wonder if the Cap is too thick, or if it's a little frustrating that the head comes out.
I'm talking about looks (and it's not like it's a spot you'd scrape when you fall over).
I think I will choose this one when replacing other models of cars.

I tend to remove the pad spring because I don't like the trivial drag of the Brake, and as a result, it wears well with the OEM pad pin.
Stainless steel is strong and does not wear as much as OEM and prevents rust, so we replace it with the OEM pad every time we replace the OEM pad.
The price seems high when replacing this part with a single body, but by replacing the pad at the same time, the price seems like an error, so it is a recommendation.

Plug cracked.
First, let me say that this is a special case based on a combination of several conditions.
After cleaning the Caliper, I put it back together, tightened the pad pin, and was finishing up by tightening the plug when I heard a cracking sound. I thought the tool was broken, but it was not. As you can see, the wall of the plug had cracked from where it was thinning.
Now, the conditions at the beginning are as follows.
The Plug itself is thinly veiled.
The Plug is a type of car that is only half filled.
Over exertion of force
In other words, it ripped as if it was pushing the unrestrained wall from the outside. After pinching it off with the pliers, I decided to use the NORMAL plug, which fits better, because it was awkward to have the plug sticking out.
The Pad pin itself has no problems at all, with excellent texture and feel.

Resistant to rust
Rust resistant Material:Stainless SteelPad pin。
It is a little bit longer for one push for Caliper, but it can be used as it is with OEM and replacement.
Features easy maintenance and performance retention, but hard Material:The surface of the shaft that touches the pad is flattened a little.
It doesn't feel like it's deforming more and more, but it doesn't feel good because I never had this happen with OEM Parts. But OEM parts will rust....
I give it 3 stars because it is rust proof and I haven't had any Trouble.
I think the price is high compared to the quality.

High quality and satisfactory
It is used for front brake caliper for BMW R1150R. Although it was not applicable, it was the same caliper made by Tokico, and I judged that I could use it after seeing the shape in the picture. I bought it for the improvement of the maintenance and the appearance against the OEM which tends to become rusty and the movement becomes reluctant. Until now, every time I cleaned or replaced the pad, I had to remove the rust, polish the surface, grease it up, wipe it with a cloth and install it. It may be said that it is not so much work, but it is nice to have clean parts forever. I am satisfied with the high quality. View detail
