The price forgives everything.
First of all, the design is very pretty.
The sound is noisy and whistles.
The noise level is definitely higher than the original, so I am satisfied.
It's very quiet, but has presence.
Even if you go riding late in the evening, you don't have to worry about your neighbors.

Dissatisfied with volume
Even though it is JMCA Certified, I bought it thinking it would be a little louder and have a little more edge to it, but it was quieter than I expected. I honestly feel that it is not enough for me.
The rest of the installation is intended to replace the Normal muffler,
I had already installed a center stand stopper, but I needed a bracket to install a normal muffler and a NORMAL exhaust band. (Parts that bind Exhaust pipe and Exhaust System)
I did not have any and had to buy more.
That's all I have to say about my dissatisfaction.
Other than that, there were no problems.
The packaging was beautifully applied and the delivery was fast.

I was able to install it in FI.
I had tried it on for Fi before.
It was too quiet and was removed on the day of installation.
This time I installed one for carburetor.
I wondered about the 91 decibels,
It is good because I can hear the exhaust sound even when cruising at 80 km/h at about the NORMAL volume of the GB350.
I'm playing around with a lot of things, just FYI,
I thought I was able to achieve both low-speed Torque that allows acceleration even from 1500 rpm and a fluke up to 7000 rpm from 5000 rpm.
Conversely, the Torque feeling of 4000-5000 revolutions seems to be noticeably thin.
Exhaust Band is limited in tightening position with the use of NORMAL. We recommend replacing the band with a commercially available band to avoid grounding during banking.
Also, even though it was new, the Punching area looked slightly rusted, so I sprayed it with heat-resistant BlackSpray.
Washer is added between the bracket and the normal bracket when installing the Exhaust Bracket.

I like it
I installed Cabton because I admired the caf?-style.
I like the design well.
As for the volume, is it about 10% more than OEM? I hardly feel any change.
It is nice to see the joint with the exhaust pipe burnt to a golden color as it is ridden.
Without the Stand stopper, the Center Stand will contact the Frame.
The contact area could be protected by covering with Tape or Rubber.
The Stopper will prevent contact with the Frame.
Contact with the ground may occur while turning.
Because of this, I removed the Stopper.

Fast Shipping / Great Product
So surprised how fast it got here. Had the exhaust in hand in Melbourne, Aus in just over a week. Looks and sounds great! Cheers View detail
The tone is not good.
The tone is not good. I hear a lot of noise. Nevertheless, I like it because it is quiet because it is a government-certified muffler. The sound you hear when you pull the throttle is very attractive. Still, this is the only muffler that can maximize the fun of the SR400 at an affordable price. View detail
It is over the price
I had been using a Planus Megaphone for more than 4 years and was satisfied with it, but it was crushed in a fall and I was considering repurchasing it. (I was considering to buy it again, but I gave up because it was already discontinued for InjectionInitial Model 3. I chose this product, which is reasonably priced and similar to Planus, from among the few available for the Type 3 model.
The instruction manual is very detailed, and as long as you have the right tools, the work itself is not difficult in any way.
I have no problem with the workmanship and precision of the product, and there were no problems with the plating, including the reverse side. The thickness of the plating seems to be thinner than OEM and Planus, and I am not sure about the corrosion resistance during long-term use, but I did not feel the low quality as some comments suggest.
The exhaust sound is louder than that of Planus in the whole area, but it is within the range of Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence. The after sound is slightly heard during AxelOff, but it is not bothersome during driving. It has a slight after sound when the Axel is off, but it is not bothersome during driving.
Perhaps due to the lack of a sub chamber, the stickiness at low speeds is slightly reduced. The "mellow The number of "Flywheels" has been reduced. On the other hand, the engine's flywheel has become lighter, and the engine now spins small. Objectively, I do not feel a large difference in power, but the power "Feeling" is sure to be Up.
One more thing, the Exhaust System itself is lighter than the OEM 7.1kg→2.4kg and the number of fixed points has been reduced to 3→2 points, which has definitely increased the vibration during driving. Especially in the high-speed range above 80 km/h, the fine vibration made the Level seem painful for a long time. On the other hand, in the low to medium speed range, the lightness of the vehicle body has increased, and together with the crisp sound, it is now possible to fully enjoy the feeling of riding a single-cylinder engine.
So, as someone who did not expect much, it was a surprise in a good way. Overall, I think OEM and Planus are well made, but considering the price of this product, I can't complain about the satisfactory performance.

Fits: YAMAHA SR400
It's still a classic.
The first exhaust system I bought used was the low-cost version of DAYTONACabton's exhaust system. After that, I replaced it with various other systems, but eventually settled on this Exhaust System. It is a standard product, but the sound and quality are the best at this price. Of course, other exhaust systems are good, but I thought again that this is the best for me. View detail

SR400 DAYTONA Slip-on Silencer Megaphone
I purchased this silencer to replace a damaged OEM. I wanted a replacement that was close to stock for aesthetic and tuning reasons. Quality: For the price the quality is fine Sound: Moderately louder than stock, sound is more like a brit bike than a sewing-machine and has a pleasing burble when riding, its not so loud as to cause irritation but you defiantly know you are riding a thumper. Tuning: I installed a Hi-Flo paper air filter along with the muffler and had to increase the pilot jet to #47.5 the main #170 and raisie the needle to clip #4 I have a mikuni BST34 carb on OEM jetting and before changing the bike couldn’t rev passed 4000RPM. I am 7meters above sea level and average temp is 15/20 celsius and now performace is back to normal, very ocassional get a decel pop. Installation: Very easy, took about 30 minutes. Performance: Indistinguishable, any improvement is probably down to weight saving, OEM = 5.25kg vs new @ 2.05Kg Overall I would recommend this muffler if you want to replace stock and are looking for a more authentic sounding motorcycle. Very satisfied!
I have ordered slip-on exhaust for my 2016 Sr400 (FI). For both the look and the sound. The buying experience was overall excellent. Delivery time to Europe was less then a week (Fedex), the package was ok, the connecting gasket was included (it is not necessary to order it separately...instructions are for me unclear there). Looks: muffler is well made (as far as I can tell), fits to the bike very well, with few rivets on the bottom and back side...but these are turned towards the frame/ground and therefore not visible. Sound: as other reviewers have already mentinoned, the sound is richer, deeper and definately brings some character to the othervise almost silent bike. Louder than stock but not too loud or disturbing, which is exactly what I wanted. Performancewise I cannot tell any difference, I have done only short distance since, so we will see, but I do not expect SR400 to ride significantly faster. The instructions are in japanese only but there is a drawing and with that is it not difficult to figure things out. Thank you Webike! View detail
Style is good
I bought this for my '21 SR400.
The installation is still to be done, but my impression of the actual product is as expected.
I wanted to make this Forme but wanted to keep the volume down.
Exhaust pipe side is Honeycomb structure and Tail side has Baffle too.
The above parts are Riveted, but the Rivet is not visible from the front side.
Because it is not the exhaust system which only wrapped the Glass Wool, the muffling performance seems to be able to be expected for a long time.
The Plating finish is also beautiful.
As a reminder, if it is a 21 year old, it does not correspond to Japanese Vehicle Inspection.

Exhaust System Replacement
I put a model 4 on a model 5.
The exhaust sound is more pronounced than OEM, but it is basically a mild sound.
The standard is [Color] However, it is not a Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence, so you are responsible for your own safety.
The bank angle will be shallow, so if you don't go easy on the Corner, you will wear out the Exhaust System at the same time you wear out the Knee Slider (I did).

Unexpectedly wonderful Exhaust System
The design is 100 points, the sound is also 100 points, it is a great exhaust system that makes the car run comfortably. Unfortunately, the Plating is not deep enough and the Instruction Manual is either unfriendly or doesn't know how to draw. View detail
This is good!
Installation is quite hard on the Bolt of Tandem Footpeg, but I don't think there are any difficult parts.
It interferes with Center Stand if Center stand stopper (sold separately) is not used. I have removed the Center Stand.
Compared to the normal silencer, this silencer is closer to the body and more stylish. There is a weld mark on the body side, but I think it is not a problem because you can not see it once you put it on.
I think it weighed just over 3kg, which is about 4kg lighter than the Normal silencer which weighed 7.1kg. You can see the difference at the first moment after installation. Of course, the handling became lighter too.
The sound is quite moderate, NORMAL+α. I chose this one because I don't like explosive sound, but the moment I put Engine on first I thought the sound would be a bit larger, but it's not that different from Normal. That was my first impression.
Once you start driving, it's just about drowned out by the Wind Cutting sound at 60+ mph. The sound quality is not too high and not too low. "Stototo. The exhaust system of the explosion sound system is "Ba-ba-ba-ba. if we assume that ... Dot-tot-tot. I guess it's like that. It can be said that it is just right that it does not become a nuisance to the neighbors and does not get tired of the sound by touring.
It's surprising that there are so few performance impressions, but this one is rather better than expected.
After the installation, I hooked up the clutch as usual, and as soon as I started the car, the body pushed out. Obviously, the Torque has become thicker. I was so surprised.
It's a great feeling to torque up the whole key rpm range for the SR, 1500-4000 rpm, in NORMAL 6th gear at 60km and 2500 rpm on a gentle uphill. "I feel like I need more power. But with this, there is a sense of Torque and it's not lacking at all. Rather, you can feel the pulse and the torque at the same time, and it feels great.
Also, with the Torque up from the very low RPM range, I can now explore the back alleys of country roads at about 1300-1500 RPM in 1st or 2nd gear, about the speed of a jogger, which is a nice bonus. Combined with the low volume, this makes for a very comfortable low speed ride.
However, the official DAYTONA Site has High RPM performance has also been improved. but you may not feel so much change over 4000rpm. If you are interested in that, you should not expect too much.
In Total I'm happy with the Large I bought.

Retro look and just the right amount of OEM+α Engine sound.
It does not correspond to Japanese Vehicle Inspection. Even if it is Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence, the exhaust system that the self-assertion of the sound is violent or the sound does not know how different it is from OEM. It was the purchase of hesitation until …Limit Exhaust System or not. As a result, I think that it was the right answer.
The appearance is almost perfect with SR400 which is originally Retro looking.
I was wondering about the Engine sound, but I think it is exactly right to describe it as OEM+α.
The sound of the engine is like the sound of the OEM exhaust system with the balance of bass and treble. Of course, because it is Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence, the largeness of the sound is moderate. However, the difference of the sound can be understood even with a full face.
Recommended for those who want a large sound rather than the explosive sound of the non-corresponding exhaust system, although the OEM exhaust system is not enough.

If you don't want to be a Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence on a regular basis ◎.
Because I felt that the sound and performance of OEMExhaust System was not good enough, I installed DAYTONA Slip-on Silencer Megaphone Type SR400. ('10' -'16) I replaced it with a 94499.
It took me about 1.5~2h to complete everything while taking DIY pictures.
I've seen some reviews that say the plating is rough in places you can't see, but mine was totally Large and durable.
If I had to say, I'd say that the silencer fixing bolt with mounting bracket on the reverse side was a little less shiny than the plating due to the heat from welding, but it's fine.
Slim, a little shorter than OEM, Stylish and satisfying.
The volume is not too loud, but it is OK for me personally. it is a little thicker and crisper than OEM. It's a large exhaust system.
The low end torque is not sacrificed and the mid to high range is more extended. If you open it up, it sounds pretty good.
None of the BackFire either.
I'm very happy that the minimum speed of 5th gear is 50km/h→40km/h. I think I can go on a touring.
The center stand stopper is installed in the Left SideTandem FootpegBracket by cutting the anti-vibration rubber 1cm thick. I did a trial run, but no problem.

Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence
I had a Peyton Place NortonExhaust System on my car, but it was a nuisance to the neighbors because of the explosion of noise, so I looked for a Large person to use the Car Inspection Corresponding Exhaust, and I decided to use the Cabton by DAYTONA. It looks better than the price and I like it. View detail
I don't know.
I checked with DAYTONA and they don't have any installation cases.
I'm so glad I bought it without looking it up.

Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence is bad if you want a good performance
Although the Megaphone Exhaust of Motor Rock was used, because the volume was big, I changed to Daytonamegaphone by the thing called price and Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence.
The installation itself was completed in about 15 minutes because I changed the exhaust system once. It was not so difficult to install.
The sound is a little bit bigger than OEM because of Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence. Sort of.
Level that I don't think it's too loud to aggravate.
Exhaust pressure is more than OEM.
When I ran it on a test run, it made me feel like it wasn't right for me at all. It doesn't run as powerfully as before even if you turn it, and when you open it up and turn it back at once, the AfterBurn is terrible. (A popping noise when Axel is not open.)
It's good for those who drive slowly, says "like SR "but not for those who drive a bit too fast.
It's good to have it for car inspection.
