Tuning premise.
I have now switched back to OEM exhaust pipes, but for a while I used these Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipes.
We hope this will be helpful to those who are going to customize their own products,
There were good and bad parts and I would like to make an IMPRESSION.
Exhaust pipe
The exhaust pipe is a pipe that connects the engine to the silencer, and it is expected to reduce weight and increase power in a large range. 。 The exhaust pipe is also changed so that the stress-up effect is even higher.
Effect of external exhaust pipe
‥
◎The exhaust from the engine is smoothly guided into the air by the large engine. It plays an important role in adjusting exhaust efficiency.
◎Lightweight. OEM is Steel, so it is also heavy. On the other hand, Stainless Steel and Titanium can be made lighter in large widths. Weight reduction also has advantages, such as making corner rings easier.
Large bank angle expansion:While the OEM is horizontal, the external model is angled, either Large or Small, so the bank angle is deeper than the NORMAL model.
This is Peyton Place's Stainless exhaust pipe,
【good point】
The exhaust pipe has a straighter structure inside, so the sound is more powerful. The sound is large but high because it is made of stainless steel.
Power up at high rpm is possible depending on the combination of ◎carburetor and exhaust system.
The color of the exhaust pipe curves is beautiful.
◎Stainless Steel, so it is corrosion resistant and lightweight. You will feel the difference.
[Bad point]
It may not pass inspection because it is ?Straight and has no catalyst. It did not pass.
Power up is not expected.
?Low speed Torque is considerably reduced in exchange for high RPM bower.
Naturally, there is Merit and Demerit.
I would like to write my past Spec. and impressions.
Normal cab + Corresponding exhaust + Peyton Place exhaust pipe
The sound is a bit louder, but I don't notice any particular effect. After Fire is often seen. I don't need to change the setting all year round.
(2) Normal cab + Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence Non-Corresponding Exhaust + Peyton PlaceExhaust pipe
The sound is quite loud, and when the carburetor setting is applied, it turns beautifully up to high rpm, but I don't feel a sense of power. The carburetor setting is very good. The carburetor setting is a little bit gapped when the season changes. It becomes darker in the rainy season.
FCR Carburetor Body + Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence + Peyton PlaceExhaust pipe
Power feeling is the same as (2).
Setting is fine-tuned for each season.
FCR Carburetor Body + It does not correspond to Japanese Vehicle Inspection + Peyton PlaceExhaust pipe
→Low speed Torque is definitely down. But Response and acceleration from mid to high speed is very good.
Setting needs to be changed ? fine-tuned→◎ each season.
Maybe the Straight structure of the exhaust pipe is more for racing than for public roads.
On the other hand, if the engine power is strengthened by bore up, etc., and the carburetor is made high performance and combined with a good exhaust system, it may be possible to have a great experience.
However, I am not sure that it would be easy as it could be quite Delicate in character of the body.
In my case, my riding style changed and I changed to a style of driving slowly and attacking mountain passes, and the carburetor setting became annoying and troublesome, so I returned to OEM exhaust pipes.
However, the exhaust pipe here has a high "dress-up" effect, so I think it will give you a great visual effect. Also, depending on the combination, it can be used to increase the power of the car, so I think it will be very interesting.
The combination of FCR Carburetor Body and external exhaust system made me think that SR400 is such a motorcycle. I was under the illusion that SR400 is such a motorcycle.

When it comes to SR, ContiExhaust System is the way to go!
It is installed on a 2012 SR400FI.
As expected from Peyton Place, the sound and appearance are unquestionable. I am satisfied with the large volume of the dry single-cylinder sound of the Helicopter, which I have longed for.
I have been able to use it with no problems after installing it without any after fire, probably because it is a FI vehicle. I don't feel any power down.
In that sense, I am Large satisfied.
However, as you said, it is an explosive sound, so those who are in an environment where it bothers you should be careful.
I don't care about that! If you don't care about that, this is a Recommendation.

I think it could be a little louder.
Previously, I used the same Megaphone Exhaust "It does not correspond to JMCA. I purchased the JMCA CorrespondenceMODEL from the same Megaphone Exhaust for the vehicle inspection.
I think it is an Exhaust System that has both pros and cons. The shape is very beautiful and lightweight.
I don't think you should buy it for the purpose of custom sound enjoyment. I felt that the power was more than that of the non-compatible model.
If you want volume with JMCA CorrespondenceMODEL, we recommend JMCAMODEL with ContiExhaust System!
If you want this Megaphone Exhaust, it does not correspond to JMCA.
I don't want a noisy exhaust system, but I want a luxurious and light feeling! I think this is a great exhaust system for those who want to have a luxurious and light feeling.

People should not buy Peyton Place.
I think I've driven about 20~30 km after installing it.
Then a pattern like the one in the picture appeared, and I demanded a return.
The stain shown in the photo may appear when oil or moisture adheres to the stainless steel.
I hope you can try to improve it by cleaning it with Gold genus polish.
Please be sure to use a gold polish that is compatible with Stainless Steel, as Cleanser will fog up.
Because, you know.
First day of installation? That's impossible.
Am I the only one who thinks, "Give me the polish, give me the wages.

Best Single sound ….
I had been using the JMCA Correspondence Exhaust System from Peyton Place, but the sound was not good enough, so I purchased this system.
We were in the process of purchasing and emailed Peyton Place to discuss various options. They responded immediately even though they were very busy. Thank you very much.
I would like to respond to the SRUser who has concerns about purchasing an Exhaust System from Peyton Place with information that was actually given to me.
1 Peyton PlaceExhaust System Corresponds to all models if SR.
2 There is no Exclusive Design for Carburetor Vehicles and FI Vehicles. FI Vehicles are installed with the included Adapter, while Carburetor Vehicles are fixed with Bolt. In short, if the Exhaust System for Carburetor is not in stock, you can purchase the one for FI Vehicles.
3 The most important thing to note for FI Vehicles is that FI Vehicles are not subject to vehicle inspection, even if they are JMCA CorrespondenceMODEL!
The above is the information that Peyton Place answered directly to me, and I hope it will be helpful to all SR riders.
The Megaphone Exhaust that I purchased has a great sound and is lightweight.
Sound at 3000-4000 rpm is especially great! After Fire is still there when I apply embrittlement. I have a SR with the secondary airflow blocked with a cancellation plate, so it is not that bad.
Installation was very easy. Once you get used to it, it takes less than 20 minutes. However, be sure to use a torque wrench to control the torque, because if the torque is too loose, the bolt will come off due to vibration, and if the torque is too tight, the bolt screw may break.

SR400 2010 Fl car fits perfectly!
I am 100% satisfied with the Material, shape and Sound.
It was easy to install, even for an arafi woman.
The vehicle body is also slightly lighter, and the Accelerator operation seems lighter.
I can't wait to enjoy the response at Tunnel.

Fits: KAWASAKI Estrella., KAWASAKI Estrella.
Royal Road.
The first one I bought was the Peyton Place Exhaust System.
The shape is almost craft Level.
The sound is soft in quality but crisp.
Material is Stainless Steel.
good point
Slim shape.
The engraving of Peyton Place is elegant.
The sound is soft and not bombastic, although it is a Large size.
Reasonable at Peyton Place in terms of price.
A bad point
It does not correspond to Japanese Vehicle Inspection.
Carburetor setting required.
If you are looking for a classy and nice sounding Exhaust System, I recommend this one.
I use it occasionally for a change of pace.

Not suitable for Normal tankSR.
BSA Type Exhaust System.
I thought SR and BSA have a lot in common, so I bought it thinking it would look good on SR, but it doesn't look good on the Normal tank (lol).
Maybe some of the Frame shapes are different.
The sound is crisp and clear.
good point
Sound is fair to good.
A bad point
It does not correspond to Japanese Vehicle Inspection.
It is not suitable for Normal tanks.
Bracket section is weak.
Maybe BSA's Tank or a serious Replica would be a good fit.
Exhaust SystemSingle Body, I keep it because it has a beautiful shape.

I like it best at Peyton Place.
The looks are great, first of all, the length is exquisite.
I have several Exhaust Systems from Peyton Place, but this Exhaust System is my favorite.
good point
Sounds like a Helicopter.
The beauty of the treatment of the end part.
Shape that suits any custom.
A bad point
It does not correspond to Japanese Vehicle Inspection.
Carburetor setting must be done to run.
Setting is an essential part of a good exhaust system.
Peyton Place also has an exhaust system that can improve performance depending on the settings.

Sounds amazing on my ‘15 SR400
I received my item very quickly, less than 5 days from ordering. This exhaust sounds amazing on my SR400. It pulls very nicely throughout the rev range and feels really good in the midrange. I did not modify fuel or timing maps. No popping or harsh noise. View detail
Lovely Peyton Exhaust
I think it is by far the best among the sr400 mufflers. Owners of SR400 will enjoy riding a bike once you feel it after installing. Completely recommended muffler View detail

Basic at Peyton Place
When I was using the Cafe racerSpec, everyone recommended the Peyton Place Exhaust System for the Cafe, so I installed it anyway.
The shape is ShortMegaphone.
I didn't see any particular performance Up.
The sound is good. I bought myself a non-JMCA approved Type.
good point
Shape:elegant, with Peyton Place written imprint.
Crisp exhaust sound.
The beautiful browning unique to Stainless Steel.
A bad point
● Low-speed Torque depression.
I can't run properly without carburetor setting.
The manufacturing process is slender in contrast to the beautiful shape.
Although it does not improve performance, it can improve the style of the car, and it is a recommendation for those who value the atmosphere of the car because it makes the car look elegant.
Carburetor setting is firm.

Not so much.
Exhaust pipes are multi-layered for sound deadening, but this one has Straight structure.
Hand BentType and the modeling is beautiful, but the performance? It is a bit like a "BentType" in terms of shape, but in terms of performance?
Rust-resistant, beautifully browned Material:Stainless Steel.
good point
Beautiful baking color.
Modeling.
A bad point
The sound is larger than that of a normal exhaust pipe.
● Beautiful shape, but exhaust efficiency is not good.
● High oil content tends to make the baking color dirty.
The visual effect is high, but I don't think the benefit is felt that much.

One of the gems
It was the best Exhaust System in terms of shape and sound.
ContiExhaust System by Peyton Place, a famous SRCustom company.
It will be Replica around DucatiMHR and 750ss.
The sound is like a Helicopter.
It is a classy explosion.
good point
The shape is beautiful.
The sound is a blast, but it is not an unpleasant blast.
It runs quite well depending on the carburetor setting.
A bad point
Bracket part is weak and easy to crack.
Carburetor setting is a must. If you don't, you can't run properly.
I am concerned about the strength of the product, and I think it is one of the best products, although it is a labor-intensive product with carburetor setting.

This is the best sound of BigSingle.
Peyton Place indeed!
It's a fine sound, just the way I like it.
I was riding around town and saw people who like Motorcycle and
It's an attention-grabber for kids.
Just a quiet Sunday morning on a residential street in Engine.
I'm a little hesitant to put it on lol.
Design is also shorter and more refreshing compared to OEM.
It's a matter of taste, but I like Large.
It was good to purchase

Good bass.
I put it on sr400 type 5.
The OEM Large sound has been replaced by a low-pitched, single-cylinder sound, and it's cool!
However, the sound was larger than expected, so I put DAYTONA's Inner silencer inside the Slip-on Silencer to muffle the sound.
The volume is now good, but it is still too much out of tune and after fire when Engine braking. It takes a lot of Gold to thicken it up with the fuel conditioner, so do I make it a little less disconnected or just leave it out of my mind? If the After Fire is not good for the Engine, we need to address it.

Outstanding Sound
This Peyton Place Megaphone Exhaust has a nice crisp and crisp sound and the mid bass is really drilled into your stomach. The torque rises from the low RPMs and the blowing up at the high RPMs is also the best. After all, it is a product that Sound is preeminent good. View detail
