Compared to OEM Product, there is a difference.
I was going to buy a cheaper overseas product of the same type from yss on another site, but when I found the JapanEdition (tuned for Japan) on YouTube, I decided to go with this product after reading the evaluation that it was better than the overseas product, although the price was higher than the overseas product.
Compared to the OEM Product, there was a huge difference, and even before the damping setting was completed, the shock from the road surface was alleviated, and I wished I had replaced it sooner.
Even after the damping adjustment was completed, the road-following performance at the corner was improved, the bounce during cornering became softer, and the tire's gripping feeling became more noticeable. I can now turn the axle on during cornering with confidence and I am satisfied with the results.
Installation is not so difficult, but you need a Jacketc. to make the rear arm free, so there is a risk of tipping over the motorcycle when installing it. If you don't have Jack, Rear Stand, and Front Stand, it is better to ask a shop to install them.
Note that the ZX25R is difficult to insert and remove the Bolt on the back side of the Frame.
Overall, the ride quality and satisfaction are high, and those who experience and understand the dissatisfaction of the OEM product should replace it.
There are other companies' products that cost 100,000 yen more than this yss, but this is sufficient for general public roads, except for those who race in Circuit.

it's recommended
I was considering replacing the NORMAL rear shock because it was fluffy and did not converge after going over the Gap.
Since I want to ride it for a long time, I narrowed down my choice to one that can be overhauled. At first, I was thinking of IKON because I wanted a normal look, but since CB 400ss is not that rare, I thought it might be nice to give it a bit of a modified look. Also, I thought it would be good performance wise since it seems to be used in Race more and more.
I have 10 more 10mm of pre-road adjustment money left, but I'll see how it goes.
The feeling of riding the car is that even with the lowest damping setting, the desired convergence is well improved, and the feeling transmitted to the buttocks is good enough to make you want to ride the car for a long time.
I chose BlackSpring on BlackBody for the appearance, but I gave it four stars because the Spring was matte black and did not look as tampered with as I would have liked.
However, I recommend the overall evaluation.

More than the price
The details are a little cheap and not luxurious, but there are no particular problems with the functionality as suspension.
It was better than I expected.
I don't know about the durability yet, but the maintenance cost is also low because the overhaul is affordable Gold.
Highly Commended.

Although it is quite difficult to install and set, it performs as intended.
I machined a lot of the suspension to install it. It took a long time and was hard work, but I was very satisfied after installing this. Because the performance came out as I hoped. The motorcycle is stable and no longer bouncing off the bumps. View detail

It is not too hard, and I am satisfied with the good tracking in the Gap. I would like to further improve the setting and aim for the best condition in the future. View detail
To avoid bottoming out when Tandem or Camping
I changed the spring rate of my YSS mz456 from 56-120-130 to 56-130-150 to change the spring rate and spring length. The spring rate was also increased and it is not too hard even in solo. The spring rate has been stiffened and is not too hard even in solo. Replacement is easy:turn the pre-road up to the top, set the spring in the "free" position, remove the bolt on the lower side of the rear suspension, and remove the spring's lower catch pan with the cutout. It will change the ride!
At first, we were going to choose NITRON in the same price range, but the delivery time was too long and we were looking for another option, so we decided on YSS because of its low price and good reputation.
I raised the ride height for the time being, and it became easier to turn the car over and turn back. The adjustable suspension is more than enough for street driving!
Japan agency is also PMC, so you can rest assured.

GSX1400Rear Suspension replacement
I had been riding my GSX1400 OEMRear shok with the Pre-road set to the lowest setting, but I was searching for a way to get rid of the gapping thrust feeling.
When I opened the box, I saw that the machining accuracy and texture are both good.
I was worried that the DoubleRateSpring effect would make the gap feel very mild and easy to ride, and that it might bottom out if driven hard, but there is 14mm of room to the bump rubber, so I thought it was a good fit for the vehicle, my weight, and equipment. I thought it was a good fit for the vehicle, my weight and equipment.
And I thought BearingMount would have a hard time absorbing vibration with Paint and minor bumps, but it doesn't.

First suspension & first installation
[How is it used?
After one day of installation, the car was tested on the street and on a mountain pass.
Was the one you received as per Image?
Yes. It was carefully packaged.
Translation (Manual for please enter here is included)
Was the installation difficult?
BoltQuantity:It is easy since it is 2pc, but it was difficult to reach and insert the Bolt in the front of the vehicle body.
Although this is the first time to install, a preliminary check of the tightening Torque and the work procedure should be kept in mind beforehand.
How was your experience with it?
I have used it in city driving and mountain passes with no adjustment within the standard weight expected by the product, and the Shock of the bumps has been softened. The ride height itself should not have changed, but it feels smoother, as if it is flying a little.
The Shock itself comes in the area of the Larger step. The Image is no longer responsive to fine bumps.
[Included Parts:were they on?
Pre-road adjustment components are attached.
Product registration documents are attached.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
None so far.
Other items that would be helpful
Installation points and hang/Availability and clarity of the Instruction Manual/Points to consider/Items to purchase/Opinions and requests to the Manufacturer
Points to keep in mind when installing
I don't think it is possible to remove and install the Bolt without jacking up the car itself and putting the suspension in a near no-load condition.
The Instruction Manual itself does not provide installation instructions. You need to do a preliminary study of the workflow in advance.
■Items that should be purchased together include
Urea grease with just a small amount on the bolt
・Torque wrench
・Jack
Jack to raise the rear wheel
Socket wrench extension
Opinions and requests to ■Manufacturer
I would like to see an explanation of the terminology in the manual, along with an overview of the product.
The manual has a standard way to generate sag values, but it does not describe how to make use of them after installation.
It would be nice if the color of Spring could be selected at the time of purchase.

I trusted the word of mouth.
It's a replacement from a 25 year old OEM, so there's nothing bad about it.
It is working normally, so there should be no problem.
I drove the car as it was delivered for the time being, but I felt that the convergence after passing a seam on the highway was slow.
Word of mouth is not bad and must be good.

Satisfaction beyond price
It is beautifully constructed with a high quality feel.
The performance is sufficient for touring use. Behavior, stability of posture, acceleration/deceleration, cornering, and ease of handling on highways have all been improved from the OEM to a top ranking. The improved appearance also raises the level of satisfaction.
The product box also listed Z400 alongside NINJA.

So glad I went with YSS!
At first I was thinking of the pricier Suspension's.
I chose the cheap one thinking I wouldn't get any use out of it, and I was right!
If you're on the fence about the GB250 CLUBMAN, this is it!

Performance in Touring is satisfactory
It is a suspension that moves smoothly, and the spring rate is lower than that of NORMAL. It is very smooth and comfortable to ride in the early stage, but it also holds its ground well after sinking down.
I would like to try to adjust it by attacking a mountain pass or loading two cans, but the problem is the pre-road adjustment, which is a maintenance problem of this vehicle (Yamaha 2GH). I wonder if there is enough space to move the adjustment tool.

At the same time as Overhaul
As I mentioned in my diary, the installation is done at the same time as the Fork Overhaul, which requires special tools and skills, and takes a lot of gold and time if you do it yourself.
But it works:unlike the OEM's bulky suspension, it has more waist and tracks better on the road.
The performance is quite high.
It would be nice to replace it while doing Overhaul.

Necessary and sufficient as equipment
Performance and texture are fine, Spring rate is also fine for my ability so far.
I had no problem installing it, but when I tried to adjust the compression damping, I had to cut out a part of the Fender because even a Stubby Screwdriver would not fit in the lower part.
Now that I compare the Catalogue photo with the actual product, I see that the position of the high speed side and low speed side of the compression damping adjustment is reversed. No, I don't care about such things at all.
Standard Quantity in Catalogue and in the instruction manual.:There is no mention of Set. The instruction manual says, "The state at the time of shipment is the standard Quantity:The weight of the rider is over 80kg and the quantity of the set is for a very high speed course.:The initial setting was set to "Set". I have been gradually tightening the damping from full extension to full compression, and so far all three have settled at the 4th level. I think the quantity at the time of shipment is the same as that of the car.:Set to -2mm. I think it was.
I don't know about other products and this is a comparison with NORMAL, but it is much easier to ride now that I don't feel the shattered feeling when starting up from a low-speed corner such as Chicane.

Change from OEM
I blamed the OEM suspension that didn't move too much for the crash on the Circuit run and replaced it.
The product page does not list S125 compatibility, but Motorcycle shop had no problem installing it!
Works great!
Weight:60 kg, but even in shipping condition, it sinks just by straddling it.
On city streets and mountain passes, the bouncing when riding on the Gap has almost disappeared, and I feel more secure.
Circuit driving is just the beginning, but I hope it won't be a bumpy ride! I hope I don't fall down!

Sass is good, but...
When I bought it before, it said it was compatible with GSX400S, but it lowered the ride height slightly. It seems to have been corrected now, but be careful. View detail
