Purchased due to Plug cord change
I bought a battered 900SS (900SL) and am Restore.
I have been using AS Uotani's SP2Full powerKit for over 20 years and have been using it all this time on my bimota db2 (DUCATI 900SSEngine equipped car).
We transplanted the engine to the 900SS that we are restoring, and since we are taking this opportunity … we also replaced the plug cord.
The old plug cord had the connector that came with the kit crimped onto it, but since it is not possible to reuse it when replacing the plug cord, we purchased the connector that is available as a for repair kit.
The Coil used in the for DUCATI kit is a 1P independent type, the same as that used for the 4stSingle engine.
The connectors seem to be the same as those used in DYNA and other coils, but I didn't want to use a different size, so I decided to use the AS-Uotani OEM Product, although it is a bit more expensive.
The same shape is available from several manufacturers, but the lowest price is probably the one made by Posh (quantity).:(1 Set of 2pcs. around 500 yen), but AS Uotani's products are available in Quantities:2pc. It is a high-end product that costs more than 1,200 yen for a set.
It looks like the same thing no matter how you look at it … well, just in case.
As a Connector, it is very ordinary, so there is nothing special to say about it.
It takes a little bit of hang to Crimp, but you'll just have to Crimp hard on your own....

NGK Cable Joint is very good

Used when replacing Plug cord
It is used in GPZ900R.
We have installed AS Uotani's Full powerKIT and used it to replace the Plug cord.
This time, the plug cord is NGK's power cable, which is specially designed for each model of car. It was quite difficult to stick the cord into the RubberBoots. 556 was not enough, so I sprayed CCIMetal rubber and the Plug cord went through the Rubber cover.
One thing to note is that it is not possible to crimp the terminals neatly when crimping.
From the beginning To some extent." It is important to keep it bent and crush it firmly at the end.
It is a must-have component when using the Uotani Coil.
I think it is a little expensive, perhaps because it is a monopoly. It would be helpful if the price were lower.

Remember to put the Heat Shrink Tube through beforehand.
How was your experience with it?
Once again, I thought it might be a little dangerous since the insulation is taken only by Heat Shrink Tube.
If the Tube is Gapped or frayed and breaks, high voltage is exposed.
Installation location should be noted.

Pretty solid RubberBoots.
RubberBoots are 2.5mm thick and thicker. When fitted to the Uotani SP2 Coil, the outer diameter of the mounting portion of the Coil should be between Φ18~Φ20 (Taper) Boots inner diameter is Φ14 to Φ15 for (Taper) It was a little bit difficult to insert the Boots because it was so small. The inner diameter of the Cable is also small at Φ6 and the mating length is a whopping 25mm. The Bracket Caulking Tool is available in two types:IWISS and a vise type, although I am not sure where to find them. It is written for 8.5mm, but it seems to be usable for 7mm as well. View detail

I love the fact that it can be installed even after the plug cord has been newly installed and connected to the Coil!
But the price is high. I think it is too high.
How durable is this resin? If it has a high resistance to heat, this price is acceptable.
How long will it last with Engine heat from now on? This is the beginning of a long, long research period.

Plug Identification
Installed on NGK Power cable.
It is convenient for a quick glance.
It was very tight against the cable, so I slid it on with SiliconeLubricant.
It may be a good idea to use pliers or other means to spread them out a bit.

A must for Uotani Coil
This Connector is required to plug the Plug cord into the Uotani Coil.
Installation is no problem if the instruction manual is followed, but it was difficult to insert the 8mm thick plug cord.
We recommend using a standard 7mm thick plug cord.

We wanted something as inexpensive as possible, as long as we knew the number, and it turned out to be just the right purchase.

Plug cord for Coil connection
I replaced the plug cord with an Ultra from OEM.
The Instruction Manual says to port the Cap and Seal from the OEM code for the Coil connection. However.
It's been 34 years. It's impossible, isn't it?
