I've been hit.
It broke on the second Touring.
By the way, the mileage is about 400 km.
I think 90 days is too short a guarantee.

Control voltage is too high.
After installation, I casually applied a tester to the battery and found that 16V was output!
I thought it was quirky and expensive, so I measured it and found that both Regulator and Battery
Idling (1600 rpm) The control was at 16V at 4000 rpm and 17.5V at 4000 rpm.
This is not usable!
Idling when I put it back in the OEM that I removed it from. (1600 rpm) The voltage was 14.5V at 4,000 rpm and 16V at 4,000 rpm.
Wasted... Worst of all...

At first I thought I had the wrong part number because it didn't fit.

MINIMOTO Regulator from 6V MONKEY Silicon Rectifier
I installed it on my 6V GORILLA, I bought it to customize it with 6V, the voltage is very stable and the battery life is longer. I will continue to ride on the Large Cutter while maintaining it. It has been my partner for more than 40 years. View detail
MINIMOTO6VMONKEY Silicon Rectifier Fire to Regulator
I have two 6V GORILLAs, so I installed the first one and the voltage became very stable and the battery life improved dramatically, so I installed the second one as well. I did not want to change to 12V, so I bought it to keep driving with 6V. View detail

Regulators are consumables.
For the past year,,, my car TW has had certain symptoms.
The small light bulbs such as Blinker and Tail lamp frequently go out... and the Headlight Bulb frequently goes out. 。 The battery also went up frequently...each time I changed a new Valve or battery, but there was no improvement at all.
I thought that the vibration might have caused the Valve to break, but it was so frequent that I became concerned.
I checked on the Net and asked a motorcycle shop, and they said it might be a regulator. I asked a Motorcycle shop....
from the start "Regulator." What is a "what"?
"Regulator." The "PARTS" are the parts that mainly play the role of voltage control and rectification, in other words, they are the organs that mediate the delivery of battery power to the car body.
If there is an abnormality in Regulator
(1) Battery leaking → sometimes smelly (lol)
(2) Headlight is becoming → easier to break.
(3) Charging does not take place → Replacing with a new Battery did not help.
Totally my symptom (laughs).
If this part is broken, high or low current will flow due to the ineffective power regulation.
In other words, in my case, I thought the Light or Blinker was cut off by the high current.
I tried to check the Manufacturer's Sitec. and asked questions directly to the Manufacturer, but they did not give me a clear cause of the problem. It's controlled by semiconductors with no contact points, so it basically never wears out." Responses such as. I guess the→regulator had no way to answer because the lifespan is basically not clarified (laughs).
But in fact, the Regulator is out of order. (Puncture) I do.
After Regulator replacement, symptoms such as battery degradation and blinker breakage were completely fixed. Proven.
According to the motorcycle shop, there were some single-cylinder, medium-sized, and small-type owners like myself who had experienced one failure each among the three models they owned.
"Incidental symptoms..." In fact, the explanation that "the problem is not a problem," cannot be taken seriously. In fact, the Parts replacement improved the situation, and 。 Understand that it is consumable.
Also, Regulator failure. (Puncture) The "H" is said to occur more often in medium and small engine displacement volume vehicles than in large engine displacement volume vehicles. Especially in air-cooled
So what caused it in the first place?
The one that is said to be an improved version of Regulator has a heat sink, which is a heat-resistant spec. added to it, Regulator failure is caused by heat. It is easy to predict that
Is it age-related deterioration, or is it the heat generated by the air-cooled single cylinder?
good point
◎After replacement, Battery degradation and lighting of lights were stabilized.
◎Engine startup is also improved.
◎Axel is now better.
◎Meter movement is also Smooth.
In the end, all areas related to electricity were improved.
It's been 20 years since I bought it used... I don't know how it worked without regulator replacement (laughs).
If you have an older vehicle and the batteries are deteriorating quickly, or if you have problems with the lights, you may want to think about replacing the regulator.
It will be in good shape when you replace it.

Replaced due to poor contact
This is a regulator to protect Digital meter. Recently, the power supply of the meter was frequently turned off, and we traced the problem back to this Mini regulator. I replaced the Mini regulator because it had been used for more than 15 years and seemed to be causing poor contact due to age-related deterioration. After the replacement, the event that the power supply of the Meter falls did not occur anymore, but it is only confirmed in Idling state, so I would like to confirm it by running the Meter. Voltage increased slightly when running.
I bought this Regulator to review the ignition system because the MONKEY was malfunctioning. It was not the direct cause of the problem, but the original one was so old that it seemed to be worn out. After replacing it with this product, the voltage when driving went up a little. It is a little bit larger than the OEM product, but I had no problem installing it. View detail

7-year life span
The last time I purchased this product was 7 years ago and the voltage dropped after about 8000 km of driving.
Replaced.
Battery was replaced with a new one and checked, but no improvement.
Improved after replacing with OEMStock.
Therefore, the Regulator is defective.
Normal voltage was obtained with the re-purchased product.
There may be individual differences, but it is best to consider this level of durability.

Replacement from 3xvOEM Product
While replacing the Ignition coil in 3xv,
I decided to replace the OEM Regulator before it breaks.
Originally, it was easy to stall due to Plug being covered during Idling,
I suspected the ignition system.
Regulator is located behind Rear shock,
I needed a long Hexagonal Wrench for the replacement,
I also removed Seat Cowl,
The fuel tank and air cleaner could be removed and replaced from the top without difficulty.
The product is Blacks than I expected and I installed the terminals on the side without the paint film.
I also sanded and polished the terminals just in case.
It is a little thicker than OEM and Large size, so the original Bolt was not long enough,
A slightly longer Bolt was used to secure it.
There was no Instruction Manual available
My impression is that it was exchanged at the same time as Coil,
Anyway, Idling became stable at 1000~1300 rpm,
I am glad to know that I am not having to worry about CDI or Battery failure.
However, the lack of Torque and jitteriness at startup was not improved!
(It's a 2nd 250, so maybe this is what it's like)
The price is less than half of OEM Product and the quality is better,
I thought it was a pretty good deal.

TZR3MA'89
Replaced from OEM (old part).
With the new battery, the old part maxed out at 14.1v, but this one goes up to 14.7v even during city driving. It is stable at over 14v while driving. It feels like it is doing its job. We will have to wait and see how durable it is. There are heat resistance measures, so I have high expectations.
I am glad I got a longer Bolt for the fixation because as you said, the fin part of the Bolt is thicker than the fin part.

No problems so far.
[How is it used?
NSR250R (MC21) The original Regulator of the "M" was replaced because it was defective.
I had assumed that OEM parts would be quite expensive, but after purchasing the product, I learned that there was not that much difference in Large.
Was the one you received as per Image?
What has been attached so far (OEM?) There are slight differences between the two, but they are generally the same shape.
Was the installation difficult?
With MC21, I couldn't access directly, so I had to remove the Tail cowl before I could work on it.
If Cowl is removed, access is possible from both SIDE, so it is not that Large strange.
How was your experience with it?
The voltage became unstable while driving, and the power consumption became higher when the headlight was turned on.
I have a voltmeter on the car body, Idling, and the voltage is now stable while driving.
So far the symptoms related to Regulator have been cured, but I am a bit worried because many of the past Impressions I have seen have been ruined after a while.
At least it is working properly for now.
[Included Parts:were they on?
Boltetc. must be prepared separately or use the one that came with the product.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
I'm happy with it so far.

I have just started using it and have had no problems with it.
To be honest, there is not that much price difference between OEM Parts and OEM Parts at the moment, so OEM may be a safer choice.

It was a little cheaper than HondaOEM and I thought it would be the same, so I used it, but it seemed to heat up quite a bit and I was worried, so I replaced it.
After all, it is safer to use HondaOEM Product even if it is a little expensive.

3XV Regulator Replacement
[How is it used?
Rather new TZr250R (3XV) I bought it because the Battery of the "I" had gone to the point of non-rechargeable after about 2 weeks and I thought, ah, Regulator.
Other symptoms were that YPVS was acting suspiciously even after changing the Battery and that the voltage was not stable during Idling.
I was worried about the quality of Chinese products, so I decided not to buy one. I tried to replace it with one made by Yamaha in Taiwan, but the price had gone up so much that it was more expensive than I had heard, so I chose this product.
Was the one you received as per Image?
This product comes with Heat sink as shown in the photo.
Was the installation difficult?
The 3XV regulator is visible from the outside, but the right side bolt position is directly in front of the suspension, so the work area is quite small.
As long as that Bolt can be replaced quickly, the work can be done in about 5-10 minutes.
I got some impressions that the Bolt was not long enough, so I decided to use the YamahaOEM 30mm Bolt. (95027-06030) separately in theQuantity:I bought 2pc
How was your experience with it?
By using this product, the electrical problems that had previously appeared were eliminated.
It has only been a little while since the replacement so it remains to be seen how long it will last, but so far I am satisfied.
[Included Parts:were they on?
This product only.
Bolt for installation should be prepared separately with a 30mm bolt.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
Currently, there are no complaints.

Chinese products are scary, Taiwanese Yamaha OEMs are expensive, and this product is somewhere in between.
I am satisfied that the problems I had felt before have been resolved.

I think it is a good product with gold connections, and I would be happy if it lasts about 5 years, but I can't afford ASKUL or other high-end products, so I'll test its durability here.
