Very good OEM parts, but...

good point
Can be attached to any machine equipped with a P511 Engine.
I installed it on my current model SV650.
Although it is called "Under Cowl", there is almost no cowl part at the bottom, so it does not interfere with oil changes and other operations.
After assembly, the unit can be detached simply by removing the four Bolts on the SIDE, without compromising serviceability.
The design of the V-Engine is very good, but it has a look that compensates for the scuffiness of the underbody, which is common in V-Engines.
Cheaper than a bad Under Cowl*, less than 23,000 yen at the time of my purchase.
All of the installation brackets and instruction manuals are in quantity.:It is available in Set, and there is no need to worry when installing it.
OEM products are made with fitting in mind, so you don't have to worry about fitting.

A bad point
The product is originally designed for DL1000 V-STROM650, so it has the DL1000 V-STROM Logo on it.
I'm thinking of making a Sticker and posting it above.
From a distance or in a photo, it looks good, but at close range, there is a surprisingly large gap in the cowl, which makes it look scanty.
Even if it is a Cowl, some stores may charge a Cowl-equipped car labor fee for the work.
Instruction Manual is in English Version for some reason. (Well, if you know anything about maintenance or DIY, you don't need to read the English version to understand the contents...)
Some Bolts need to be removed with T30 when installing, so preparation of Socket, etc. is necessary.
I wrote that there is no cowl at the bottom in a good point, but it is not suitable for Circuit Running because there is no cowl at the bottom.
*Under Cowl in Circuit would have had an Oil-receiving role, but in this Cowl...

Personally, I give this product almost a perfect score.

Select the color of the MotorcycleRim sticker.
When I thought about what color Rim sticker to use, here is what I came up with 。
。 If the color next to the Motorcycle color is the Rim Sticker color, it will give a coherent and soft impression.
*Similar colors are the use of two/three adjacent colors in a hue ring.
●●* Use complementary color schemes to create Impact.
If you use a color that is opposite to the Motorcycle color, Contrast will be stronger and the impression will be more Impactful.
*Complementary colors are the opposite colors of the hue ring.
●*Using a three-color scheme, the product is both colorful and impactful. 。 If you use Motorcycle's colors and two colors that form equilateral triangles, you can create an Impact combination with three colors.
* A three-color scheme is a three-color version of a captive color scheme.
White and black go with everything.
All colors are white when lightness is increased and black when lightness is decreased. 。 In other words, unsaturated White and Black go with any color.
Same color as the player you admire 。 My lucky color etc.

(2) Check the Rim width.
Measure the width of your Motorcycle Rim and choose the largest size that can be stretched to that width. If the width is thicker, the impression of the area is stronger, so it does not bother you. Is distortion bothering you only at first? It depends on your personality, but the distortion of Rim sticker will bother you only for a while after you put it on. 。 It will not be a concern soon.
When a narrow rim sticker is used, it becomes a double circle with the Wheel outline. 。 This causes noticeable distortion of Sticker.

Float the front and rear wheels…If you don't float the Wheel and put it up, it will be troublesome! It is easy to put up the wheel by floating the wheel with Center Stand or Motorcycle Stand. 。 If the rear wheel cannot be lifted, move the Motorcycle a little at a time, or turn the Wheel by tilting it toward the Side Stand. 。 Even a simple STAND is useful enough for ChainMaintenance, etc. 。 It is convenient to have one.

Easy to apply as it comes with a backing paper.

important point
Water tension is less likely to fail.
Degreasing is a must.
Do not do it all at once, but check the position of the seal and slowly remove air bubbles between the seal and the car body.

Of course, the Shop will do it for you, and there may be fewer failures (some Shops are not good at this). (Some shops seem to be bad at it.) However, it is possible.

Seat assy

It won't be as good as you think, but it will be cool.

I bought a used DR-Z400SM seat with a low seat and a cutout, so I installed this OEM high seat.
I don't know about other Seats as I have never sat in them, but they seem a bit expensive for the effect.

When it arrived, the first thing I thought was that it was incredibly thick and the meat was quite firm to the touch.
I thought this would improve my bowels in a big way, but when I actually sat down, the flesh was surprisingly hard and I didn't feel much change.
It's probably a little better, but it's still a triangle.
It's been about 2 years since I installed it and there is no softening after sitting on it or anything like that.

Also, the raised seat raises the visibility considerably, so a lower car can see deeper into the car, [Color] If it is a van without Smoke attached, it is quite easy to use because you can see the back of the van at the window Glass waist.
However, the footing is naturally worse, and if you are not careful, you may fall down more often, so it is better to ride with care.

And most importantly, the high seat will look much better and more photogenic, just like a MOTARD.
It's not an improvement over what I expected, but it's cool, so let's call it good.

Maybe it's just the one I bought, but I had quite a bit of trouble with it even though it was OEM because the screw holes didn't line up, whether the product was out of alignment or the body was bent. View detail
