Cylinder replacement
I took down the head of the MONKEY to replace the valve, and when I removed the head and checked the cylinder, I found it was damaged. It would be very helpful if I could buy the parts I want at Rose, but the quantity is very limited.:It is not cosmetic as it is a Set purchase. I hope it will be improved. Nice but catastrophic malfunction
I really enjoyed this swingarm for about 600 miles. Came out one day and there was this visible crack in the swing from a distance because you have to admire a moto with the new parts every time you exit the house and also to check the tire pressure, ect. I believe it was a one off from the MFG and did not dispute a claim based on being in the US and having to pay all the shipping fees back. Takegawa is great quality parts, I have many more of their parts on multiple bikes but I do believe there was a mistake on this production and or specific swingarm. Spacing was near perfect, torque was on point, something just went wrong. View detail

Unfortunately, I did not feel any physical change!
We have already installed Takegawa's SCRAMBLER Exhaust System, Power Filter, and Hyper Ignition Coil. After installing the system and running the car for a day, I can honestly say that there was no perceptible change in the vehicle's performance.
I could hardly feel it. As mentioned in the BowerFilter's Impressions, BackFire, which was not present in NORMAL in all other cases but only in Takegawa's SCRAMBLERExhaust System, now sometimes occurs when ThrottleOff!
Since the bower filter and Hyper Ignition Coil were replaced at the same time, the cause is unclear, but I would like to reassemble and verify to see if there are any defects in the assembly.
I will make more impressions when I have more miles on the car.

First of all, the cosmetics are very bad. It costs 10,000 yen for front and rear replacement.
I replaced it with the Orange bulb that came with the kit and activated the blinker before tightening it, and found that one of the bulbs was cut off.
If this Orange bulb was from FOR JAPAN MODELManufactureretc. it would have been a little sweeter, but I honestly do not recommend it.

The manufacturer has been very helpful to us with CROSSCUB CUSTOM, so we were quite shocked when the Blinker bulb ran out of balls this time.

Caution, oil lubrication is required for bearing every 500km.
This is the third bearing to prevent shaft shake of the crankshaft.
It is not to be used for crankshafts that are already shaky, but as a preventive measure.
If you follow the instruction manual, you can do the work in two hours.
A Special Tool (PulleyHoldWrench, or RotorHolder as it is called at the site of purchase) is needed to remove the center nut of the crank pulley.
On the crankshaft side, note the mounting orientation of the spring washer.
The BearingHoldPlate looks as if it is installed on the opposite side from the picture in the instruction manual, but it can only be installed as shown in the attached picture.
The Purchase Site states that it is a 3-point support, but I think this is a lie.
I bought it with Image which supports Shaft like Wheel bearing, but when I installed it, there is a little gap between special Lock nut which extends the shaft and Bearing.
In other words, the Bearing side (Generator Cover side) is not firmly supported as a third bearing. >See photo.
Perhaps it is an insurance mechanism that acts in the event of large-grain axial shake (deflection motion).
So, it may be necessary for people like me who run the car at high RPM spec, but it may not be necessary for those who run a full two wheeler.
The last part of the instruction manual contains an outrageous note. >See photo.
”Bearing is to be lubricated every 500 km”.
This would be redon't you think, because if the lubricant runs out, it will cause resistance to rotation of the Shaft.
It is not a Race vehicle and this MaintenanceCycle is not practical.
This is the kind of information I want to know before I buy, but PurchaseSite doesn't list this kind of warning. This is also redundant.
False 3-point support, impractical MaintenanceCycle, it might be better not to introduce this Parts. I have trusted SP Mukawa's functional Parts until now, but as expected, I'm going to say no to this one.
The quality and texture is not as expected for a functional component, so it is 1 star.
I don't know about durability, as I have not tested it, but since it is not supported at exactly three points, I will leave it out of the discussion.
However, the overall rating is 2 Stars with high hopes that it will be an insurance policy for people like me who DRIVE at high RPMs.

I replaced it while I had it in stock for the oil cooler installation.
First of all, the included PrimaryGEAR is useless!
Torque will be extremely low ←You can cover some of it by diverting to other cars.
Furthermore, it is possible to replace it with a hydraulic kit, but it is already discontinued, so you need to look up the number from Repair Parts and buy it.
Other than that, I have no complaints, but I think it's a surprisingly painful area, … what do you think? Mr. Mukawa.

92 groms were not combinable.
First, I tightened it with the specified Torque8N/m and it broke.
The anodized part of the screw was uneven and I am not sure if this was the cause of the breakage or not. I am not sure if this was the cause of the breakage, since all the screws were similar.
Quantity:2pcs broken and only 4 replaced 7~7.5N/m Bolt length 20mm is quantity:There are 2pcs left over.
For Mr. Mukawa, it was a rare dud.
I had a Engine slider, so I thought I could use 6 screws, but I broke them, so I had no choice.
Incidentally, the Right Side is not usable because it is 40mm compared to the NORMAL 35mm. So, I purchased an additional LeftBolt, but the same thing happened here. It is a pity.
Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) We use four of each only where we can see them.
I would not recommend a 92 Grom, but a type 2 Grom might be a good choice.
It is made of aluminum, so it is very light.

It increases the crispness of the sound, the reduction of After Fire, and the feeling of acceleration just a little bit.

It worked too well for me and didn't suit me.
I wanted to improve the ride quality of NORMAL and bought this product thinking that adding Damper would improve it.
I could see the effect of Damper as soon as I rode on it after installation.
The most effective is when there is a Large input, and Damper absorbs the bumps that would otherwise cause the Normal to wobble, making the ride much more stable.
However, it didn't work out as I had originally intended. I have a weak stomach, but after riding long distances, I started to get a stomach ache.
After removing it again, I found that it can be driven normally up to 70 km/h with a good feeling of control even in NORMAL. And the ride is comfortable.
Beyond that, it is more stable to run with Damper. This was the reason.
At low speeds, there is a lot of Damper Friction and a feeling of suddenly collapsing.
I have found that my riding style is better without Damper.
I may be able to make use of this Damper by increasing the load on the Front when the Front is fully loaded or by extending the Rear Swing Arm, so I will give it a try.
