POSH Aluminum Pillion Belt Cover
About quality and texture Well made aluminum from POSH. The cover gives a beautiful outlook compared to the stock sliver look. About the feeling of use It's a cover that fit perfectly without any lapse in space. Difficulty of installation Less than 15 mins to remove the original screw and place the cover on with the given screws. I hand tighten the the screws as hard as possible. Cost performance and comparison with other products There's no comparison with others as there isn't any similar product around. The price is not expensive but it gives an additional look in your plain looking seat. About shipping and packaging Shipping is not expensive as the the items are small. Items are place in a vinyl plastic bag but no visible damage after shipping. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing The given screws length is long enough as there's worries about the safety of the belt if the pillon is to grab it. Make sure it's well tightened and theses should not be a problem. View detail
Universal and easy to use
Material:Stainless Steel 8mmCap bolts are available at Home center in various lengths (about 150 yen per pc).
Even if it is not a car-specific product, this one from Universal was sufficient for me.
Also, there is no extra Logo, etc., which is nice and clean.

Quite normal! That's the good part!
It was purchased to be installed on an ELIMINATOR 400.
IronWeight inside and Material outside:I like that the AluminumCover is a separate body. (,,> <,,)
I bought Silver because I was planning to AnodizedOrder only the Aluminum Cover.
I requested Anodized from Koken and installed the Pink-colored one.
(Wife's request)
The weight is a little heavy, but the protrusion is moderate, so it looks good.

It was not good enough for me.
I bought it to protect my number, but it is too thin and unreliable, probably to make it lightweight. The size is exact and easy to install. The machining accuracy is not bad. View detail

First time is tough.
If you are replacing the Bar End for the first time, be careful.
I guess it depends on the type of car, but in my case (2023 KATANA),
First, the Bolt that is included will not be used. Also, most of the included parts will not be used.
I use the OEM Bolt, but sadly it does not fit this Bar End.
I think it is a lack of understanding of the structure of the Bar End itself, but at first I used a part like the Adjuster that came with the Bar End without understanding it, and the Bar End did not come off.
We ended up taking it to a Motorcycle shop and decided to remove this Bar End.
Since the product photo does not show the attached parts, I will buy the actual product at the Shop in the future, even if it is a little more expensive, instead of using Webig.

Bolt is becoming White muddy.
The bolt has turned cloudy white. How many years ago was the bolt manufactured? I purchased the Titanium at the same time as the POSH shaft, but this product is a Blackish Titanium and does not match the shaft. View detail

If you put on the outside of the company with a good exit, you can use Setting.
I used it for an OEMcarburetor overhaul. 。
Carburetor has parts called "Jet" such as Main Jet, Needle, Pilot Jet (Slow Jet), etc., right?
What is the Pilot Jet used in this project?
What is Pilot Jet?
Pilot Jet Slow Jet. Or, IdolJet. also called 。
Jet to lighten the fuel in the Pilot system. 。 Weighs the amount of fuel in low-speed operation from Idling 。 The larger the number, the larger the diameter and the thicker the mixture.
*Fuel is supplied from the Pilot system→Idling at low speeds.
And, Pilot Jet Or Slow Jet is exactly the same role, but it is called by a different name.
Why are they called by different names?
★ Pilot Jet
→ Name used for Mikuni Carburetor 。
★ [Slow Jet]
→Name used for KEIHINCarburetor.
The parts have the same function but are manufactured by different manufacturers.
And why Pilot Jet (Slow Jet)
need to be adjusted?
And Pilot Jet (Slow Jet) has a thing called a number.
■Thinning the number one small cherry→ thinning.
■Large kiku→ thicken the number.
This is an adjustment that
By the way, when do you actually perform setting?
Setting example
~Pilot Jet (Slow Jet)
When you want to make it thicker (to increase the number)
→Idling - unstable rotation at low speeds.
→Engine is hard to take.
→ After Fire from Exhaust System during embr.
I was in After Fire and poor starting when embracing.
Thinning (lowering the number)
→Idling sound dull.
→Black smoke coming from Exhaust System.
I think the most common case is to replace the exhaust system with an external exhaust system with good ventilation.
I also have an external Exhaust System, so I'm moving up to the OEM Pilot Jet #25→#27.5.
How to exchange ~OEMMikuniCVcarburetor
(1) Turn off Fuel Cock.
↓
(2) Remove Gasoline in the carburetor.
Loosen the drain bolt and it will come out.
↓
(3) Use Phillips Screwdriver to remove the lower no-screw of the carburetor. The screw is soft, so do not lick it. Turn counterclockwise.
↓
Open the inside, and you will see a large sized Bolt (main jet).
Pilot Jet is located under the
↓
?Use a slotted screwdriver to remove the existing Pilot Jet.
↓
(6) Turn the new Pilot Jet in the place where you removed it by hand gently first, and finally tighten it with a slotted screwdriver. Do not overtighten.
↓
Large sturdy if it is restored with ? ?→?.
After that, start the engine and adjust the speed of idling by Pilot screw, etc.
The number of Pilot Jet that is originally attached to SR400 is #25.
〜After replacement
○ After Fire at the time of embellishment has disappeared.
○The connection of acceleration from low speed to medium speed has become smoother.
If the carburetor vehicles are changed to an external exhaust system, I think it is better to adjust not only the OEM carburetor but also the external carburetor.

Vibration improvement at high speed
I purchased the Black color and it blends in well with the Grip. Installation was easy. I have not applied Screw lock yet, but I will do so after purchasing it at a later date. I was worried about the other company's HeBeaverWeight, but I am glad I chose this one. I have been driving at high speeds for about 30 minutes and my palms are no longer numb from the vibration at 6000 RPM. I wish I had bought it earlier. View detail

Material:Material on the Caliper side of Aluminum:Banjo bolt in Aluminum.
Since the caliper side is aluminum, we replaced the OEM steel banjo bolt with an aluminum banjo bolt to prevent thread galling due to electrical corrosion when replacing the brake hose.
Since it is GOODRIDGE compatible, OEM's NORMAL could be used, but replaced with this product for the above reasons.
Since it is a product of a proper manufacturer, there are no problems with thread accuracy, quality of anodized processing, etc., and it can be used with confidence.

Used to replace a sprocket on a first generation Ninja 250R.
Since we are replacing it with a beautiful black painted Sprocket
Lock nut also chose this product to provide a unified look.
It is hard to find a Nut that is Black in color and fits the diameter & Pitch.
I've checked Monotaro and other places, and they sell Black Nut, but the Pitch doesn't fit.
It can't be used because the diameter doesn't fit or something.
Therefore, we concluded that we can only use this product in effect, although it is a little expensive.
