If you put on the outside of the company with a good exit, you can use Setting.
I used it for an OEMcarburetor overhaul. 。
Carburetor has parts called "Jet" such as Main Jet, Needle, Pilot Jet (Slow Jet), etc., right?
What is the Pilot Jet used in this project?
What is Pilot Jet?
Pilot Jet Slow Jet. Or, IdolJet. also called 。
Jet to lighten the fuel in the Pilot system. 。 Weighs the amount of fuel in low-speed operation from Idling 。 The larger the number, the larger the diameter and the thicker the mixture.
*Fuel is supplied from the Pilot system→Idling at low speeds.
And, Pilot Jet Or Slow Jet is exactly the same role, but it is called by a different name.
Why are they called by different names?
★ Pilot Jet
→ Name used for Mikuni Carburetor 。
★ [Slow Jet]
→Name used for KEIHINCarburetor.
The parts have the same function but are manufactured by different manufacturers.
And why Pilot Jet (Slow Jet)
need to be adjusted?
And Pilot Jet (Slow Jet) has a thing called a number.
■Thinning the number one small cherry→ thinning.
■Large kiku→ thicken the number.
This is an adjustment that
By the way, when do you actually perform setting?
Setting example
~Pilot Jet (Slow Jet)
When you want to make it thicker (to increase the number)
→Idling - unstable rotation at low speeds.
→Engine is hard to take.
→ After Fire from Exhaust System during embr.
I was in After Fire and poor starting when embracing.
Thinning (lowering the number)
→Idling sound dull.
→Black smoke coming from Exhaust System.
I think the most common case is to replace the exhaust system with an external exhaust system with good ventilation.
I also have an external Exhaust System, so I'm moving up to the OEM Pilot Jet #25→#27.5.
How to exchange ~OEMMikuniCVcarburetor
(1) Turn off Fuel Cock.
↓
(2) Remove Gasoline in the carburetor.
Loosen the drain bolt and it will come out.
↓
(3) Use Phillips Screwdriver to remove the lower no-screw of the carburetor. The screw is soft, so do not lick it. Turn counterclockwise.
↓
Open the inside, and you will see a large sized Bolt (main jet).
Pilot Jet is located under the
↓
?Use a slotted screwdriver to remove the existing Pilot Jet.
↓
(6) Turn the new Pilot Jet in the place where you removed it by hand gently first, and finally tighten it with a slotted screwdriver. Do not overtighten.
↓
Large sturdy if it is restored with ? ?→?.
After that, start the engine and adjust the speed of idling by Pilot screw, etc.
The number of Pilot Jet that is originally attached to SR400 is #25.
〜After replacement
○ After Fire at the time of embellishment has disappeared.
○The connection of acceleration from low speed to medium speed has become smoother.
If the carburetor vehicles are changed to an external exhaust system, I think it is better to adjust not only the OEM carburetor but also the external carburetor.

Setting
Used for setting up TM-MJN24.
I thought that I would buy a regular Mikuni product if I was worried about the quality, but I had no problem with this one.

An Experience I Learned Firsthand (;・∀・)
When I bought SR400, British custom was the mainstream, and I also liked to install CABTON Exhaust System. Of course, I was young, so it does not correspond to Japanese Vehicle Inspection.
I had put it on without carburetor setting....
This is what happens.
Symptoms
Idling Rotational instability
I thought the ▲ sound was dull→Cool. (;・∀・)
▲ inadvertently stalls→ mistakenly thinking this is a taste (-_-;)
▲AfterFire a series of fires during embrasure
I would be ashamed of myself today.
Cause
The resistance of the Exhaust System changes against the intake from the air cleanerretc. and the adjustment of the Carburetor is out of setting.
→The point is that the balance of the combination of a good exhaust system + normal air cleaner is bad and the fuel mixture is out of balance.
It means that the mixture is thin.
As expected, I couldn't ride the car as it was, so I decided to try Carburetor setting (laugh).
Carburetor setting
The method of adjusting the ratio of air/fuel mixing (air-fuel ratio) in the engine. 。 If the air-fuel ratio is not right, the fuel cannot be burned properly and the engine will not be able to deliver enough power 。
In the worst case, it will lead to Engine failure.
The parts used in the Carburetor setting and their roles.
1:Main jet →Large action around Axel opening 50%~.
2:Slow Jet (Pilot Jet) →Engine hangs and affects running at low openings.
3:Air Screw (Pilot screw) →Since the scope of responsibility is covered by Slow Jet, if the Setting does not appear by adjusting Screw, the Jet is replaced, and so on.
4:JetNeedle clip step→Clip step up makes it thinner, clip step down makes it darker effect. 。 Adjust the sharpness of the blow-off from a physical point of view.
I thought I'd try 3 and if it didn't work, I'd try 2. →3 didn't work (laughs), so I tried 2.
Incidentally
What are the symptoms of a thin Pilot Jet? Throttle opening 1/8 to 1/2 →.
Breathing, Knocking, Stalling, Staggering, Lagging, Rattling, Poor acceleration Dark Idling Unstable rotation Light Idling Black smoke, Dull sound, Stalled after a while......just the way it is (laughs)
There are three types of Pilot Jet here.
・#48
・#50
・#52
The standard was 42.5 so I will try from the darker side.
Here's how each one turned out.
No afterfire or stalls.
... ##50→Engine takes, but Plug is completely Black.
... ##52→ Too dense to be Engine.
After that, when I ran, the explosion naturally eased up and I was in good shape (lol).
good point
◎Main jet:6 types from 165-190, Pilot Jet:3 types from 48-52:The number of component points that are in Set, so you don't have to worry about Setting with OEMcarburetor.
◎They are easy to obtain, which is helpful for Setting beginners. It is difficult to get Jet individually.
Point
You should check the number of OEM or current Main jet and Pilot Jet. It will give you an idea of what to do from the current situation.
It is better to have several plugs, because it is difficult to reuse a plug if it is too dark and too black, because the burn color of the plug confirms the Setting.
If it is a single cylinder, you can do it by yourself because it is only one carburetor. Especially if you have an external exhaust system and it is not working well, I think you should do the setting.

Got my moneys worth for the look alone
I'd wanted the black one, but as it wasn't available- I got titanium instead...it actually looks really good to my eye. The design of the shroud does restrict access to the front mounting point for crash knobs etc- in particular the right hand side. I had to remove my 'trickstar' sliders so the shroud would fit. As for an improvement to airflow around the radiator, I got no idea..sometimes I could almost swear the engine runs hotter- so, who knows? But all that aside, I think they are well worth the money even as just as "dress-up" item. View detail

For carburetor for CBR150R.
It is out of the scope of conformity, but was used on a CBR150ROEMcarburetor.
We are using a CBR150Rcarburetor on a MAJESTY125, but I don't think many people do this, so I hope CBR150RUser can use it as a reference.
Posh's Jet is very accurate and can be used with confidence.

Filler cap size is different, isn't it?
[How is it used?
I replaced the Blue alumite filler cap that was originally installed because it was uncomfortable for me. Also, the size M24×P3.0 is different from past R1s, and it was hard to find, so I searched for it on webike and found it.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The shape and color of the product are both fine.
Was the installation difficult?
Just remove the original Filler cap and install it. Hand-tighten only; using tools will probably damage it.
How was your experience with it?
The product looks good and is easy to use.
[Included Parts:were they on?
I am glad that it also came with an O-ring.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
I am not sure about the durability of the R1 Engine.

Improved startability
Used on MAJESTY 125 Carburetor Vehicles.
Co-MAJESTY's OEMcarburetor is notoriously difficult to get Setting out.
It has been very stable since we switched from OEM to around 27.5 or 30 here.
I'm very happy with it

Bought as Carburetor setting
I bought it for my HUSQVARNA TE250 that I always use for forest road touring.
As Carburetor Vehicles, the Setting changes with the season and altitude so that they can be kept in good condition,
I purchased the main jet set here and am using it for Setting.
CollectivelyQuantity:It is in a Set and in a Case, so it is very easy to manage and useful.
The problem is that the Case divider can be removed, and the jets can easily be moved to the next Space.

Best if you don't care about the brand.
I usually use K&N, but I use it as an alternative during maintenance.
Power Filters are available from various places, and I have used many, but I think POSH's is relatively good.
good point
The ○Cleaner capacity is also quite large, so the intake efficiency is good.
Filter clogging is less likely to occur compared to other companies' filters.
○K&N's maintenance kit can be used here. 。
It will run without changing the Carburetor setting from when the XXK&N. → that is, high performance.
○ Inexpensive and good performance.
A bad point
I don't think so.
Certainly K&N has high performance, but it also has BrandImage, if anything, and I think that is reflected in the price.
If you are not that particular and want to improve performance, this product is a recommendation.
