I think the cosmetics are good.
OEM Camshaft Cover Plug is Material:Rubber, but in recent years, Kawasaki's Material:My confidence in Rubber products is declining (personal opinion), so I switched to Aluminum!
I was worried about the accuracy of the Gasket and parts, but when I assembled it, I was surprised at the accuracy of the parts.
I put a little bit of Toyota's Black liquid Gasket on it and assembled it.
No Oil leakage after that, so I guess it's good.
Of course Torque wrench is a must!

Oil leak in the Tachometer port of the MKII.
I purchased this oil seal because I was experiencing oil leakage from the Tachometer port on my Z1000MKII. I have had the motorcycle for 5 years and the shop had replaced the oil seal with the same product made by PMC before I bought the bike. I wish I could have purchased those parts and repaired it at a lower price. I wish We-Big would sell repair parts for ORing and Oil seal. 。 I would like to buy OEM Parts next time to see if the ORing and Oil seal from KawasakiOEM Parts will work. View detail

Replaced due to oil leak
I purchased this product because I found it when I was searching for it. I applied a thin coat of Sea Ring material when assembling the product. View detail

Problem solved, 3 years and counting.
Snugged it up and engine is much quieter now as it would be expected with a new ProX chain. Automatic one was all out of adjustment and keep the chain too tight.Quality and finish is good. Came in a fancy box too. Came with gasket.Moved breather box to install, took minutes and put everything back after. It's been a little over 3 years and 10k km since I installed the PMC manual tensioner in zx10. Installation was a breeze and all that nasty cam chain noise that comes with the OEM tensioner disappeared. It doesn't get any easier in my opinion. I readjusted it for the first time since installation this week, and I probably didn't even need to. View detail

No OEMs.
I've been looking for an OEM Product for a while, but I couldn't find a good one,
I used PMC's this time and the QUALITY was totally better than I expected. I wish I had purchased it earlier.

Although I tried to replace it.
Oil started leaking from the OEM, so I replaced it.
Yeah, Parenthesis is bad.
If my friends saw it, I'm sure they would. You're about to miss the Screw. I'm sure they'll say, "Oh, no, we're not going to do that.
For what it's worth, if Bolt Nut were also Black, it wouldn't stand out so badly.

Before you notice any unusual noise.
There was no particular noise from the OEMAutoCamshaft Chain Tensioner being worn out, but I thought it would be convenient to be able to adjust the tensioner manually.
To install, remove the original OEM Camshaft Chain Tensioner, measure the length from the contact surface of the bracket to the end of the tensioner with a Caliper, adjust the bolt of this Manual Camshaft Chain Tensioner to the same length, and tighten it temporarily. After attaching it to the Cylinder, I tightened the bolt.
It will be a little longer when tightened, but it is acceptable because it runs normally without any abnormal noise.
It may be a little expensive, but it looks okay, so I'm satisfied with it.

Repair Parts are always in stock to help with Large changes.
I think any manufacturer's material is large and sturdy as long as the oil does not leak. Personally, I wish Pam's Gasket was in stock, but since I need it right away, I went with pmc's because they have it in stock! View detail

Question mark on Quality
When I opened the package, I was disappointed to see that the Oil seal was incorporated at an angle. In addition to being inserted at an angle, the seal was pushed too hard and deformed.
We purchased the O-ring in the hope of fixing oil leaks, and also in the hope that the double O-ring would be more durable in the future.
However, if the oil seal is built in at an angle, it is highly doubtful that it will be sealed properly.
I appreciate PMC products but the quality is not good. I have always thought so, but the QUALITY is still low.
This time I dare to use it as it is, thinking it is a test of PMC products.
If oil leaks during use, you can reassemble it yourself with an OEM oil seal.
It may be a good product for those who can do the modifications themselves. However, this product may not be suitable for those who are not good at working, or those who can assemble the purchased items as they are.

Safe to ride.
The OEM Tensioner does not apply the proper pressure, so we are replacing it.
The replacement itself is easy, but the adjustment must be proper or it will be an Engine Blow!
If you're not familiar with it, it's safer to let Shop handle it.

If you don't mind discoloration with age.
If you use it well, it will not leak oil as much as the OEM type rubber ones. if you degrease the BALI and apply the liquid gas well, and if you reuse it, you can use it almost permanently by removing the old liquid gas and dirt. However, anodized discoloration may occur over time. View detail

Better than a scratchy OEM.
Compared to OEM, there are subtle differences in shape and texture that can be seen at a glance, but a beautiful engine can make it look better than a scratchy original. View detail

countermeasure
Oil leak from Tachometer port is a common disease of air cooled Z.
If it starts leaking, replace it with this one.
The installation is a little hard, so apply more silicon grease and make sure to put it in straight.
You should also apply some anti-seize material to the screw holes of the Hexagon Bolt to prevent them from being damaged.
We will see how durable it is, but we think it is more durable than OEM.
The air-cooled Z has all the countermeasures and most of the parts are mechanical parts, so it is not likely to break suddenly and the maintenance cost is not much.
