I break them regularly.
Hard parts like these are fragile as is the fate of materials, and will break easily if force is applied to them at an angle.
The Chain ToolPin should not break if it is applied straight, but it is a Pin that breaks at an angle if you are not careful, and as a result of proceeding with the cut process without noticing this, it breaks at a rate of about one time every two years.
In short, the work is messy, it is failing and breaking, and the cause is all my fault.
The pin itself is extremely rigid and straight, so there is no reason for it to break if you check it carefully and work accurately.
Well, even if you break it, you can buy Repair Parts like this, so there is no problem at all.
Body is for extremely sturdy PRO, so it can be revived again and again.
I've been using it for almost 20 years now.
I have not had a single difficulty in obtaining them, as they are often in stock on Webike, whether people fold them or not.
KTC is also great to keep making Parts!

The pin was slightly bent, but the bent pin did not feel good and was difficult to use.
I thought a light tap on it with the Hammer might fix it, and poof Drill!
As expected for PRO, it seemed to have been hardened so that it would not wear out even after repeated use, and it broke easily due to input from an unexpected direction.
It means that they are hard enough to provide the strongest performance when used correctly.
But don't worry.
PROSpec. so it can be purchased individually from Tool's Repair Parts1pc.
The Pin I received is the exact Pin as it was when it was new, no problems.
If used correctly, it is a very sturdy Pin, so if you can use it correctly, it is a Recommendation.
If you are not confident, you can practice with DID's Chain Cut & Crimp tool. Like this. It would be useful to use it after experiencing the
Well, if you fail like I did, it doesn't matter because you can still buy it in component units.
