I changed from an OEMSuspension over 20 years ago to this product and it looks so much better.
When the throttle is opened, the rear tire grips the ground firmly through the suspension, and the driver feels a pleasant sensation of acceleration as if kicking out.
The Spring strength can be adjusted with the Hook wrench in about 4 or 5 steps, but I think the weakest state is sufficient.
LargeSatisfactory results for a few thousand dollars! Do you think it is cost-effective Outclassing maintenance?

Replacement from OEM suspension
The OEM suspension was completely worn out, so we decided to replace it with an external one...
Well, there is only one YSS or KN, but I happened to find KN Sus on sale at a discount, so I bought this one.
However, there is no Instruction Manual for handling, so without basic knowledge of rear shock, it will be very difficult.
The installation is also a little bit larger than OEM. (If you are not confident, you can ask for help or have a store do it for you.

We have tried various pre-roads, but basically, it is best to leave them as they are shipped. If you feel it is too soft, try turning it a little at a time to find just the right place.
Be careful not to turn the Spring more than half a turn, as this will stiffen the Spring and adversely affect the buttocks.
The damping adjustment should be adjusted to suit your preference.
The pre-road adjustment part is anodized, so the paint peels off easily, and it is necessary to wrap rubber around the hook on the wrench side to protect it, etc.
The O-ring on the collar breaks off easily. This can be solved by being careful when installing the collar, but when the collar comes off and is put back on properly, it will soon break off.

I can't say for sure since I just installed it, but I think a suspension with an adjustment mechanism will be useful in many situations. (Luggage, Tandemetc.)
I don't think it will break unless you tighten the pre-road abnormally or try to turn the damping adjustment beyond the limit.
It is not something to brag about like OHLINS, NITRON or YSS, but it is high performance enough.
It is better to choose this rather than to buy some Large-type suspension diversion, used OEM or low-priced version in auctions, so you will not make a mistake. I can assure you this much.

Removal and installation was easy.
The bolt that the suspension is attached to is so clean that it is hard to believe that it belongs to a motorcycle that has been used for 7 years.

Installation difficulty

Great fork upgrade with long life
I have put well over 20,000 miles on these KN front forks. The stock ones just have greased springs inside the tubes but these are oil filled. The ride quality is a great improvement over stock. It would be nice if the springs were a bit stiffer as the front of the bike does sag when I sit on it and I weigh under 150 pounds, however they still absorb bumps in the road well. The most impressive thing to me about these forks is that I have been using them for so long and they still work great! I have gone on long trips including some off-road riding on rough terrain and they held up fine. There is a double notch at the top to give you a very small amount of height adjustment.
