For ChainMaintenance and Wheel cleaning.
I bought it because I thought it would make ChainMaintenance easier.
I was not sure about the type that raises by lever since it will be used on a Large Motorcycle, but I decided to use this type that only turns the screw part considering storage.
I lifted the XSR900 on Asphalt and a washed out Concrete surface.
After locking the front brake as described in the product description (I used DAYTONA's Front Brake Vise Lock that I had purchased before), Quantity should be as close to the Swing Arm as possible so that it is perpendicular to the Swing Arm as I was afraid that it would come off during work.:Set
However, if the position is too close to the Tire, the Tire and Body will come into contact when raised, and the Wheel will not be able to turn.
I thought the body was too heavy to raise without using aids, but I was able to raise it by hand as it was without the force of the hand crank becoming too heavy.
I stopped at a point where the Tire floated a little, but there was no slippage thanks to the small protruding ground surface of both the Asphalt and the washout. (I doubt if the protrusions are worn off after use or if they are wet.)
I used to have to move the body back and forth to clean the Chain and Wheels, but this makes it much easier.
The Rear Stand, which lifts up the entire Swing Arm, is also attractive because it can perform a variety of tasks, but it is small and does not get in the way when it comes to cleaning, so I think it is not a bad idea to have it.
