AXIS La Installation
[How is it used?
Installed today. Test run for about 30 km including 6 km on highways.

How was your experience with it?
The Net said that it was not so different from OEM, but I was satisfied with the tone that actually had a strong presence.

The exhaust pipes were already assembled when I arrived at the factory, and when I tried to install them as they were, I was in a hurry because they did not fit.
It is a pity that the manual is only available in English version, because the Gold amount is very high and I would have liked to see it translated (please input here).
How did it compare to other products?
I don't know because I don't have a comparison product, but it's louder than OEM (sensory) was a sense of docudo in Up.
Other items that would be helpful
Exhaust pipe Gasket is about 1000 yen for 2 pieces. Considering the time and effort required to replace the gasket when a trouble occurs later, it is recommended to replace the gasket.
The first Exhaust System replacement took about 1.5 hours of work.
A person accustomed to this will easily cut an hour off.

AKRAPOVIC is a quintessential AKRAPOVIC, with really high QUALITY.
Was the installation difficult?
I think the troublesome part is up to the installation of the exhaust manifold.
The Gasket to the exhaust port was difficult to get in and was a pain to get out and fall out.
Also, be careful with the Stud bolt on the exhaust port.
Overtorque or single-point tightening may result in breakage.
Be sure to tighten evenly etc. and use a Torque wrench.
Other than that, there is no Large work.
I think it is better to retighten the nut at the stud bolt after some driving.
I was able to retighten about 1/3 turn.
PLOT, a Japan distributor, has posted a video of the installation, so it is easy to refer to it.

The motoGP GSX-RR has an AKRAPOVIC exhaust system, so we chose AKRAPOVIC instead of YOSHIMURA to match the system.
First of all, I would like to say that GSX-R1000R (2017-) It does not correspond to Japanese Vehicle Inspection. and Don't use on public road.
This time, I decided to purchase the Full Exhaust System replacement for the catalyst damage countermeasure on the premise of Circuit running.
[Installation related
I think it's about 4 hours if all goes well.
First of all, GSX-R1000 (2017-) Due to the configuration of the vehicle, it is necessary to remove not only the Side cowl but also the Seat cowl because the removal of the exhaust device occurs.
In addition, not only Radiator, but also Oil cooler is air-cooled 4-cylinder, so it becomes the model of the part that takes time and effort as Full Exhaust System replacement in the first place.
Because it was the first time to exchange the Full Exhaust System with many joints of this kind, I struggled for a while to install it in the car body after assembling the Exhaust pipe part.
With this method, there is too much freedom in the insertion allowance and angle, making alignment a difficult task.
As for the point, the Exhaust Pipe Flange part can be disassembled.
So, if you remove the Flange part from the Pipe and install the FlangeSingle Body to the Engine first, and then insert it in order, I think you can go smoothly.
Even with that in mind, the Spring assembly of the Exhaust Pipe Flange is the most difficult part, but I can only say that I'm very enthusiastic about it…
It is also necessary to reassemble the rotating part of the exhaust device, but be careful not to break the exhaust device.
The hexagonal part is held in place by a 7mm bolt, but care must be taken to ensure the hexagonal part is secure when removing it. If you try to remove the 7mm bolt directly, the rotating part of the exhaust device will be turned by force and can be easily damaged.
[Feeling of use]
The exhaust sound was a little louder than the OEM Idol with the attached Baffle. It was about the same.
When I turn it, the volume is clearly Large threshold.
Also, when I reassembled it, I really felt it was lighter.

There is a relatively detailed Installation Manual, but it is the English version.
I think you can read it somewhat because it has diagrams.
In addition to the Exhaust pipeBody, there is also a part that physically cancels the exhaust device.
So, for the time being, there is a complete set that can be hung on the Engine.
By the way, you can see something like Wiring in the picture of the contents, but it is an extension of O2SensorWiring.
As a manufacturer, it is recommended to rewrite the ECU when using this product, but I have been using it without rewriting.
I am using it with Baffle installed because of that, but no particular problem has occurred at present.
The joint part of the exhaust pipe and the insertion part of the silencer are both insertion spec. but the gasket is unnecessary.
The application of CeramicPaste is necessary, but this is also included in a small amount.
The Exhaust Pipe Flange section requires the OEM Gasket, which is not included and must be prepared if you do not want to reuse it.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
Unlike Titaniumium exhaust pipe which has colorful burnt color, this exhaust pipe is purely designed for performance.
The Silencer is finished in Beauty, but the Pipe part is not finished aesthetically, so if you are looking for looks, it is better to choose another one.
What can I say?
I had a hard time wrapping my head around that until I realized Flange was out.
Also, you can't change the oil filter with this product installed, so you may need to remove the exhaust pipe upstream every time you change the oil filter.
[Summary]
I think it's a pretty Stoic product to make.
It in the first place is a racing exclusive parts.
Stoic spec without flashy.
So-so volume.
ECU rewriting recommended
Poor Maintainability (Oil filter replacement is a pain)
High degree of difficulty in exchange (It's too dull to reassemble with OEM every time the car is inspected)
and if you expect to use it on public roads, you should give it up honestly.

The Full Exhaust System of AXIS Lapo was installed in the CBR600RR, which was my former beloved car, but it was too much trouble to return it to NORMAL every time the car was inspected.

It is probably quite affordable if the price is also set to Full Exhaust System. Volume turns by turning Baffle is ringing in tinnitus but Idling is quiet unexpectedly if Engine warms up with Baffle. To remove O2 Sensor, use Special Tools (O2 Sensor Wrench) You will be required. (It is OK for car maintenance)

Originally it was stated as waiting for two months, but it seems that it arrived immediately after the order as it matched to the 17th anniversary Sale, arrived at hand earlier than I thought.
【How was it actually used?】
- Volume, sound quality
Whether Idling to 5000 rotation per turn, which will be mainly used in MT - 09, almost the same as OEM volume - It is sound quality..
The YOSHIMURA Exhaust System of the Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence which I was wearing earlier was a little loud yo-yo that the bass worked a bit, so when I started the engine for the first time after installing it, I had a lot of quietness.
Sound quality also seems to be due to the shape of Silencer being similar to OEM?.
It is an exhaust system which is not suitable for the person who obtains the volume at all, but in my case it is the environment where Red is in my house or neighboring house, so rather quiet person is thankful.
On the other hand, the sound quality changes sharply from around 6000 rpm. Although there is no violent force like the explosion sound of Exhaust System which is not compliant with the automobile inspection, since it is much more powerful exhaust sound than OEMExhaust System, it tends to pull in unexpectedly when accelerating at high speed.
- Ride
There is almost no drop in Torque which tends to be on the outside Exhaust System.
Like the OEMExhaust System, as we go on Idling alone with Clutch work, it is possible to Recommendation for those who say a little ... for the Exhaust System that Torque will drop too much.
I also do not understand the weight of the Exhaust System itself, so I do not know, but I felt it was lighter by 20 to 30% compared to the OEMExhaust System.
Because of that, the collapse of Cornering was sharper than when it was OEMExhaust System, and it was scary because the first Curve at test run immediately after exchanging suddenly suddenly fell and fell down than usual.
- Fuel consumption
Immediately after installation, fuel consumption deteriorated to Large width. When installing the OEMExhaust System, the fuel consumption per liter was about 18 km, but the fuel consumption just after installation deteriorated to about 12 km to 13 km.

- Finish, texture
Compared with YOSHIMURA's Exhaust System of Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence which I was wearing earlier, I felt the finishing of the Exhaust pipe is particularly bad.
Silencer surface finish and welding beads Material : It is made with a sense of crisis as it is written as Titanium. The carbon cover around the exhaust port is also made of real Carbon and Race ish. The thing without the Carbon cover of the front MODEL was also good, but this is finished as good as good as it is as good as this.
However, Exhaust pipe is not possible to say only complicated compared to FOR JAPAN MODEL Manufacturer goods.
Perhaps it is not surface treated. Some of the quality control numbers that would have been printed when Stainless pipe was a material before processing remained on the surface. I would like to use AKRAPOVIC 's Exhaust System but I think that it would be better for those who think that Exhaust pipe should be LusterLuster better, by asking themselves or a contractor for themselves.
