Kawasaki Radiator Screen
About quality and texture Light weight and thin stainless steel material. About the feeling of use Wanted something less complicated with minimal design. I'm afraid that complicated designs will hinder the air flow to the radiator as I stay in hot tropical city. That why I chose to purchase this design over other much protected materials products. Difficulty of installation Very simple to install just need about 10 minutes to install it. Cost performance and comparison with other product Price is a bit steep for its material and other brands may have the same price but better protection. But it's from the manufacturer I feel safe as they may design for minimum protection but not disturbing the air flow. About shipping and packaging It's light in weight but the surface area is wide. It's wrap with thin form but when the product came with any problem. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing Just to purchase for city riding should be ok I guess. But if like for further touring you might consider something which made out of a harder material. View detail

I purchased this product because it is an OEM Product.
I thought Kawasaki's Logo was cool.
It is a bit pricey, but it seems to protect you if you fall to your feet.

I think it's effective for standing up, and it fits well with the body because it's well-designed and OEM.
It is a good quality and works well. It has a good texture and does not require a work kill, but the drawback is that it is not cosmetically pleasing.

A kind of talisman.
I had an Oil cooler on my old Motorcycle, but the Core part deforms if you handle it too roughly, so I had to put a Guard on it.
It was a used vehicle, but unlike off-road vehicles, the road model has a large radiator and a large surface area, so I decided to purchase it in consideration of damage caused by flying rocks, etc.
Design-wise, cooling efficiency would be a factor, but we didn't ask for anything special.
If design priority is given too much priority, protection performance cannot be expected, or conversely, cooling performance may be affected.
Satisfied with no problems after installation.
If I had to make an order, it would be that the Radiator is originally black, and if I put this cover on it, it would look like I put a cover on it, so it would be better if I could paint it myself.

[How is it used?
For Ninja400. Service was performed at the time of delivery.
Was the installation difficult?
It is only attached by bolt-on, so it is easy to remove.
How was your experience with it?
Compared to the external core guard, it is quite rough, so the protection is minimal. If you are concerned about it, it is better to find a fine core guard. However, Ninja400 has a small radiator, and the water temperature rises quite rapidly.
The price is not too expensive, and it provides minimal protection against flying rocks and insect attacks, so it is a safe OEM product for those who are not too picky.
I've been using it for a couple of years and although there are scratches on the surface, there is no rust or distortion, and it is very durable.
I have no complaints at all since it is the Option that was serviced in the first place.

The design is too simple and there is no sense of customization at all.
Those who are concerned about appearance may not want to do so.

[How is it used?
I didn't see any mention of the Ninja 1000SX, but the screw size is the same as the Z900RS, so I figured it would be large and strong.
The OEM oil cap was too hard to loosen with bare hands, so I decided to replace it with a Filter that can be worked with a tool and has a dress-up effect.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The color of Black is a little different from that of Image and is glossy. Therefore, it appears to be different from the color of the Engine side.
I thought it was the same design as the H2 SX Oil Filter, but when I compared it to the H2 SX Oil Filter, I found out that it was a special design.
Was the installation difficult?
Replacement is easy.
Removing the OEMOil cap with bare hands is probably the hardest part.
How was your experience with it?
Good to work with hex Wrench and HEX10Size, so it is easy to remove and install the OilCap as expected.

Point and hang of installation:Apply a light coat of engine oil to the rubber packing. If you don't apply it, the packing will be twisted by the friction, which will cause seal failure and damage to the packing.

I had purchased it thinking I would do it at some point, but the time finally came to use it.
I thought it would be easy, but the Double-sided tape was strong and quite Large strange to remove. It was easy to install once it was removed.

I don't want to buy Repeat anymore (lol).
In fact, after installation, I was embarrassed to say that it was a standing failure (and Quantity).:Pair (for Left and Right) I did (one at a time too) and this is the Review afterwards.
It wasn't a large impact because it was a standing mishap, but the Left Side Cover was well scratched, but the Crankcase was intact. I had OEM Slider and Slider was also scratched, but Cowl was not scratched.
He did his job well.
But even though it's a Cover, I didn't want to ride with the scratches, so I bought the same one and replaced it.
I thought that it was a little high that it cost more than 7000 yen with this, but I think that it will cost tens of thousands of yen when I change CrankcaseBody, so it is good.
It's made of plastic and it's only held together with double-sided tape, so I had my doubts about whether the crankcase would be protected in case of a violent fall while driving, but when I removed it, I felt that the double-sided tape was surprisingly strong and would not come off even if I pulled on it. I had to use Parts cleaner and SealRemover to get it off.
It's going to protect you until you fall over and the Plastic gets scraped off.

I installed it to hide the scratches.
I bought this to cover up the damage I did to my Crankcase last time I had a bad fall. It's made of plastic with double-sided tape, so I'm not sure if it will protect my crankcase if I take a nasty fall while riding, but I think it will lessen the impact more than not.
Plastic, but the texture is not bad.
To install, just degrease with parts cleaner and peel off the double-sided tape and fasten. I used a maintenance stand to set it up horizontally, but I think a side stand would have worked just as well, but I thought it would have been easier to set it up straighter since it's pretty low down.
