First SMARTDisplay
[How is it used?
Used for city driving and touring.
I use it with Apple CarPlay.
Was the one you received as per Image?
In fact, when you hold it in your hand, it is surprisingly small.
The screen size is 5-inches, which is almost the same size as X-ADV's Meter.
Was the installation difficult?
It was easy to install as it can be powered from a USB port.
Wiring from Battery is also possible.
How was your experience with it?
I am still using it only for city driving, so I wonder if it is convenient? I am not sure if it is useful or not.
Is the Navigation screen easier to see?
[Included Parts:were they on?
The Mount in Included Parts:was easy to install.
A simple instruction manual is included.
Download the PDFFile from Kijima's website for connection and use.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
We are not yet in full operation. "Honestly, is this how it's going to be?" That's my impression.
It may be due to my usage environment, but sometimes the music gets cut off or I can't hear it.
The connection method is called Smartphone&arrarr;SMARTDisplay&arr;Income, but I can't grasp where the cause is.
I'm using IncomeB+COM SB6X, but I'm not experiencing any interruption in SMARTDisplay and Pairing, so I'm going to wait and see how it goes a bit more.
【Review】
I chose Kijima's Display considering AfterCare and FOR JAPAN MODEL certification because it is sold by JapanManufacturer, although products with the same spec. are sold at a lower price.
Price-wise, the same type of product without KijimaLogo would be considerably cheaper.
It does not have air pressure management or DreEveRecorder like other companies' products, but it may be worth buying if the display alone is sufficient for your needs.
I'm worried about my phone running out of heat in the coming season, so I'm looking forward to seeing how long I can use it.

I only write about the dissatisfactory points! See other Reviews for the good parts!
After installing the product, I went on a touring trip of about 1100km in GW, and I will write what I think of the Negative of this product that I felt at that time.
1. Pairing interruption
Pairing with the phone was disconnected while driving and the map that was being displayed via Android auto disappeared 6 times.
Sometimes the connection was automatically restored immediately after disconnection, and sometimes it was not restored even after 30 minutes. It was a strange and time-consuming process.
I would like to tell you that I have been in trouble more than once because of course it is not possible to redo Pairing with the phone while driving.
I learned after purchasing the Monitor that other companies' Monitors use a Bluetooth 5.0 Tip, while DAYTONA uses an inexpensive Bluetooth 4.2 Tip.
That, too, is a point of dissatisfaction.
The phone is a SONY Xperia1 ii
2. No Pairing
This product has a convenient feature that, after initial Pairing, automatically searches for and connects to the previously connected phone the next time it is activated.
It does not Pairing easily. Every time.
The Instruction Manual says something like Pairing at startup and Android auto startup takes about 1 minute to avoid signal congestion.
Sometimes it takes a minute to connect, but more often it does not connect even after 5 or 10 minutes, not to mention a minute, so when touring in distant areas, I rely on Navigation and was sometimes frustrated because I could not start driving until Android auto started up.
The Instruction Manual says something about trying to connect from the phone side when it is not Pairing, but when there is an automatic connection failure, the Monitor does not respond even if the phone is operated. Even if the phone side searches, Monitor does not receive the search.
I don't know if it is device compatibility with the phone or a software issue, but I would like to see a study focusing on connectivity and a softwareUpdate.
Incidentally, this Monitor can up-date software in USBMemory if the Manufacturer publishes the up-date program.
3. Compatibility with Income from other manufacturers
I usually run with my Touring buddies while talking on Income.
When Android auto started up, Income's Microphone feature would sometimes be turned off, making it impossible to make calls.
I can't figure out the cause and restarting Monitor fixes it.
I have a beacom connected, not a DAYTONA Income, so perhaps there is something on the software side that is causing a conflict.
I don't think we have a choice about this.
Overall
So far, the product has caused more dissatisfaction than satisfaction due to the unstable connectivity with the phone.
There are many good points, such as the fact that the sound is better when connecting Monitor to Income than when connecting Income to a smartphone because it has an equalizer, and the robustness of the mount, which will never fall off. I would like to see the connectivity of this product improved through software updates.
DAYTONA, we are counting on you!

Limited installation methods for back camera
Wiring length of the back camera is halfway; 1m on the Camera side and 1m on the Extension Cord,
The Camera side should be about 30cm and the Extension Cord should be about 2m.
Unlike a driver's camera, the Body's mounting position is near the with handle, so the current wiring length requires a connector connection at the halfway point, making wiring difficult.
The Cable that connects to the Body also has a 4-point screw on the Body Reverse side, but this is troublesome to install.
With this structure, even if the BodyMount base can be removed with One-touch, when the Cable is inserted again,
Since the connector is fixed with a rubber band to prevent 4-point tightening, it is necessary to use a precision driver to remove the screws and insert the cable before fastening the screws, so the screws are left attached after all.
The four screws on this base are not designed to be detached, so if they are completely removed, the screws may be dropped and lost.
The back camera can only be mounted on the upper side of the base in the direction from which the camera is suspended, and cannot be flipped up and down in the body settings.
The position of the Fixing Screw between the Base and Camera is not in the Center, so changing the mounting direction of the CameraBody is necessary,
Difficult to set the adjustment angle downward because the angle of the Camera is Up.
I tried attaching it to the Fender, but it could only be adjusted slightly Up from horizontal.

It's convenient to use without any problems.
The only complaint was the startup time, but this has been improved with the May 2024 Up date.
The screen is easy to read, and there are no problems operating it with the Gloves on.
Merit is more Large-like, which allows you to control Navigation and music without leaving your phone in the Bag, than the fact that you can no longer control your phone in Insta360.

Good visibility
It is easy to see and use even during the day. It is also good that USB can be used for power supply. View detail
FirstDisplayMonitor
Installation was done by Dealer.
The hardness of the USB port, the problem of breaking if the USB port is not facing the right way, and the hardness when removing the USB port from the Slide, etc., give the impression that the product is not made with frequent connection and disconnection in mind, although it is possible to remove the USB port.
So it is basically to be used with it attached all the time. It is possible to put Wire through it to prevent theft, so I recommend using it.
I feel Merit to have a wired connection as well as a wireless connection, but you need to be careful not to lose the USB Cap!
I have not used it that much yet, but the screen is large, visibility is high, and Response is not bad.

For my first SMARTRideMonitor.
I installed it because the slight vibration of the Motorcycle was affecting the Camera function of my phone (iPhone11Pro).
We wanted to keep Wiring simple, so we chose the Type without the drareco function.
The kit comes with a variety of brackets for installation, so I think it can be used on most large vehicles. I used the base of the RAM Mount that I originally used, so I was able to install it without any extra work.
Wiring is only required to connect to the Plus and Minus terminals of the battery and to the ACC power supply.
Both WiFi and Bluetooth connect without any problems or glitches.
It is not particularly difficult to see even under bright sunlight during the day. I expect that it will be visible even in the midsummer sun.
The downside is that other WiFi-based devices will not work. I tried to remotely control my insta360 from my phone and couldn't do it.
As a supplement, when you register as a User, you will be directed to a dedicated line for inquiries and they will respond to your detailed questions. I was lost in Wiring myself, but they were very polite and helpful.

STREET TRIPLE2023 KDR-D21 installation
I had already installed it on March 16,
This is an Impression after using it for a while and doing various settings since it did not come with a proper Instruction Manual.
First of all, installation is a simple matter of connecting the Attachment power supply, Battery power supply, and Earth.
If you know how to get power, you can DIY it. The other thing to do is to install Wiring.
In this respect, it would be good without the Instruction Manual.
It is a Camera, but I like the fact that the length of the Wiring is different for the rear and the front. However,
Why are the terminals at the connection points the same color! I don't know which way to connect...
Also, as others have mentioned, the Cap for the Air Pressure Sensor had the F and R reversed. Also, I had to disconnect the battery and reconnect it to connect to the Body.
Well, so far, it's the usual Trouble in doing DIY, so I'll leave it at that.
I'd rather have nothing. What? Nothing?" I think.
From here on, it is a feeling of use. However, since there is no Instruction Manual, it is difficult to set up the system.
Touch panel is a bit dull. I guess this area can't be helped because of the low price.
I am an iPhone and it is CARPLAY, but it takes a long time to connect.
Do you want to connect to CARPLAY 60 seconds after turning it on? appears about 2 times after turning on the power.
I can't wait, so I'm running slowly and warming up until the connection is made.
As for the connection, it's like this, so if you CHOINORI and turn the key Off
It is a hassle to reconnect each time.
The Touch panel is dull, so smooth navigation is possible when using the iPhone to search for routes.
I feel like my iPhone battery runs out faster since I started connecting to this.
All of these electrical systems are the same, but the length of the connection terminals coming out of the Body is the same.
If the terminal part is the same length, only the terminal part will swell up when it is put together...
If possible, I would like them to be connected with one wire because they are bulky, or if there are four wires coming out, I would like them to have two different lengths for each wire.
Finally, the
The good part
No need to worry about battery level since it is connected to the vehicle.
I heard that people who connect to Income can operate it by voice,
It can be operated without using the Touch panel. (I do not use Income).
This price includes Air Pressure Sensor and Front and Rear Camera.
The bad part
The iPhone battery runs out fast. (I think this is the same with all machines)
Touch panel is dull.
No Instruction Manual.
BallMount, so lower Quantity:Cannot Set. (I used SP CONNECTO)
The hardness of the Camera's feet makes it difficult to wear on round surfaces.
Is this how it is?
Frankly, I don't recommend this for those who already have a driver's license.
The price is low, so it is good for new installations.

I am satisfied with it, but there are some points that may bother some people.
I purchased the initial lot and installed it on the same day, and use it every weekend for day-touring. I originally used a smartphone Holder, but found the following points inconvenient, so I purchased this SMARTMonitor.
It is a hassle to take the phone on and off every time you get in and out of the car, especially when you stop for a short while at a convenience store.
It can't be used in the rain (it's a notebook case, so it gets wet, and USB charging from Motorcycle is likely to be shorted).
・Heat makes the phone behave strangely during extreme heat.
The phone holder that can be mounted even in a pocketbook case is too bulky and cluttered around the handlebar.
When a phone call comes in while driving, the Sleep screen appears and Navigation cannot be viewed.
The proportion of parts that are not functions of the product itself (DFS for the application of the Radio Law (60-second wait for connection), Android Auto's characteristics, and performance) is large, but I will write my impressions when I put them together and consider them as a single product.
Elimination of inconvenience points
I→m still not sure how it behaves in extreme heat, but I have almost eliminated it.
Comfort of use
→ no problem but with the following caveats
Points to note
Touch with→Gloves is not very responsive, so Touch pan is required (or TradeOff, since it didn't malfunction even with considerable rain?)
→Brightness switching may be dependent on the phone side, or it may be set to nighttime MODE even in the daytime, or daytime MODE even in the middle of the night.
→After DFS is completed, it takes a long time to connect to my phone. after DFS is completed, it goes to WiFi connection, but it connects after repeating device search, Home screen, device search 2 or 3 times (1 or 2 minutes during this time). is it compatible with my phone?
→ The screen rendering is choppy. I don't use it for Video or Game, so it doesn't affect my use, but if you're used to the slippery crispness of a smartphone, that? If you are used to the smoothness and crispness of a smartphone, you may think, "What the hell?
→And Lloyd Auto is limited in what it can do due to many restrictions.
If you don't check it beforehand, you may be surprised at how little you can do if you use it like MirrorRingMonitor on your smartphone.
Overall, I am satisfied with the price because I was able to solve the inconvenience I had expected at this price, but I think I might have been disappointed if I had purchased the product without much research.

Not usable, even COMPRyans in Manufacturer?
First of all, use iPhone for Navigation in Touring, Camera and other corruptions. (Mechanical anti-shake rather old iPhone) of
Purchased this product considering the possibility.
Image was purchased with the intention of being able to use Navigation on the iPhone instead of the Goo GRUMap and other devices.
First of all, as for the product packaging, etc., it is cheap with a Chinese flavor, the inner box with foil stamping but PeLePera, and the outer box is also difficult to understand the product description (This is true for HP as well.)
The quality of the product body is as follows:First of all, two LCD protective films are attached to the body.
The one with the Manufacturer logo is easily recognizable, but there is another one pasted below it.
Also, this QUALITY must be low.
It is very dusty in new condition and looks like a protective film on a smartphone that has been applied in a messy manner.
There are no instructions on how to install anti-theft brackets, etc. The Instruction Manual is almost completely silent, explaining only that you can use it by connecting ACC, Plus, and Earth.
So, what are my impressions of Body's use?
First, the screen size should be measured in advance.
The body size is almost the same as that of the iPhone 14, but like the old LCD Monitor, the bezel portion of the screen is large, so the display portion is much smaller than the body. (Design that feels old-fashioned)
It is also very thick. It is about the thickness of 2.3 cell phones stacked on top of each other, making it very bulky.
And when you use it. First, the Touch panel Response is
It's slow as shit.
It is useless. It's so bad that you can't operate it while driving, but it doesn't make you think about it.
I made the mistake of thinking it was going to be the same as an iPhone that costs about 150,000, but it's soooo bad.
And even if I operate it with my bare hands, it taps on different parts of the board.
Cheesy electronic sounds and Manufacturer logo displayed when powered on
No, you are not such a proud Manufacturer, Small one hour to see if you can't turn it off.
The most discouraging thing about this is that it doesn't connect to my phone very well.
And, due to the radio wave law, the connection cannot be established for 60 seconds after startup.
Now, do you leave your motorcycle in place for 60 seconds after starting the engine each time?
Is your neighborhood Large sturdy?
Or do I leave the Headlight on for 60 seconds without applying Engine?
Is BatteryLarge sturdy?
I contacted the Manufacturer about this.
It's on the website. (W52 indoor /W56 outdoor only; it does not say that it cannot be used for 60 seconds. Are you telling me to check the radio laws myself?)
If you make a W52, you don't have to wait. But it's illegal, so use your own judgment and do something illegal.
Huh, the Manufacturer recommends illegal activities to the User?
I bought it because it was reasonably priced and had just been released.
The website and product descriptions are appropriate. Packaging, quality control, and after sales are all appropriate and pokey.
This is the first time I have purchased from a Manufacturer, but I would not recommend a Manufacturer that is not well-known.
It's been a long time since I've had a chance to make an impression since the sale of the property was successfully finalized.
I wish that one less person would buy this product.

KaEdia is still good!
Although many companies have released SMARTMonitor, I have been waiting for CaEdia's product. I have been waiting for a product from CaEdia because, after all, it is the most cost-effective. I have purchased many of KaEdia's products and knew their high quality and high cost performance, so I had no hesitation in deciding that the SMARTMonitor would also be made by KaEdia. After more than two months of ordering, the SMARTMonitor finally arrived.
There was a small product defect there. It was a paint bald on the housing.
I immediately contacted KaEdia and they were able to promptly replace the item with a good one. As expected of JapanBrand ^ ^.
After installing it, the actual feeling on the Motorcycle is perfect!

It is quite good.
Although it takes 60 seconds to establish the connection due to the Radio Law, this product uses a soft power supply that shuts down 5 seconds after the ACC power is disconnected, so even if your car model shuts down the ACC power at the time of cell start, as seen in BMW etc., the power will not be turned off when the engine starts. Therefore, if you put on the Helmet and Gloves after turning on the key first, you will be connected to your smartphone by the time you step over and turn on the Cell, and you will not feel the stress of waiting for the connection.
If your vehicle is equipped with a 12~16mm GPS Mount Bracket, the Tanax AIO-5 Mounting Bracket can be used without modification.
The cost performance is great, but the screen size of 4.5-inches is a little insufficient.

Because it is small, it does not interfere with the Meter and Handlebar area, but the map is also small in its own way.
Other companies have similar products, but I was bitten by the fact that it was a new product. I purchased this product without considering the size of the screen, but it is rather small. When I installed it, it did not interfere with the Meter or other devices, which was probably a good thing,
The large size of the map is the same as that of a smartphone, which is hard on the eyes of an old person, but the instructions are only rough, so you have to learn to use it by hand. Except for the Motorcycle Rose, Wiring is not difficult to install with the color-coded connectors. However, since the Camera connector is the same color for front and rear, it is recommended to temporarily turn on the power during the installation (since the Camera in the back has a reversing function). If you do not use your motorcycle frequently, it is recommended that you connect the ACC and the constant power to ACC separately. If you do not use your motorcycle often, it is better to use only the ACC connection for constant and ACC. I put a switch in the middle of the ACC power supply because the power comes on even when it is not in use. At first I thought the Touch screen response was sluggish, but with my bare hands it was fine, and in my experience it was sluggish with Gloves, but with Gloves, which does not support smartphones, the movement was better. However, the buttons are small enough to fit the screen, so you may end up pressing the one next to it. There is no automatic screen illumination adjustment (I always set it to max except at night. You can set the screen to nighttime, but it's a bit of a hassle). The position of the HomeButton on the map screen is annoying (it can be moved temporarily).
View detail
Touch screen is slow to respond. Instruction Manual is too easy.
The instruction manual only describes it roughly, so you have to learn how to use it by hand. Except for disassembling the bike, wiring is not difficult with color-coded connectors. However, since the connectors for the front and rear cameras are the same color, it is recommended to temporarily turn on the power in the middle of the installation (since the rear camera has a reversing function). If you are concerned about the dark current, the instructions say to connect both ACC and constant power to ACC, but I connected ACC and constant separately because I was concerned about the inability to use the parking monitoring function and the time gap. If you use your motorcycle infrequently and are concerned about battery drain, it is better to use only the ACC connection for constant and ACC. As mentioned in the title, the response of the touch screen is sluggish. It is frustrating with gloves on. There is no automatic screen illumination adjustment (I always use max except at night). The smartphone app is supposed to be able to connect to the driver's recorder, but I don't know the password, so I still can't use it. The home button on the map screen is annoying. View detail
Depends on the use of Main.
I purchased Mirror as Main, which is easy to see during the day.
I bought this one considering the cosmetics including Included Parts:because it was difficult to see the screen in Situation where the sun shines during the daytime with my previous driver's recorder with Monitor.
The screen visibility is not as good as the Tanax SMARTRideMonitor installed on Main's Motorcycle, but if you don't compare it to the Tanax SMARTRideMonitor, you can see the screen even in daylight at a perfectly acceptable level.
In terms of the total price including the Air Pressure Monitor, I think it is a totally reasonable price.
I use it in car play, but when I want to use it in Camera screen, it tries to switch to car play by itself, so I have to operate it each time to switch the screen back.
I would appreciate it if this is fixed in a future version up, but I have no problem using it as a SMARTMonitor.
But overall satisfaction is very good.
If you are hesitant about Tanax because of the price, I totally recommend it. Quantity with the same content:Set is almost half the price, lol.

Difficult to understand the settings
It does not include a detailed instruction manual, which is a problem when it is not connected to a smartphone.
I set it up while emailing Manufacturer.
Since the Instruction Manual is the same as the Instruction Manual that comes with the DriveRecorder, it is difficult to understand whether it is not displayed due to a defect or whether it was not displayed in the first place.

Solid, compact, and unobtrusive around the handlebar
The SMARTMonitor has a growing selection, but the KaEdia KDR-D21 is characterized by its compactness, versatility, and high quality. 4.5-inches screen is smaller than a Smartphone, but it is recommended for those who want to refresh the handlebar area. The 4.5-inches screen is smaller than that of a Smartphone.
Installation is easy
Simply connect the power supply (Red and Black) to the Battery and the Attachment power supply (Yellow color).
All that remains is to connect the front and rear Camera and GPS to the Body (Monitor) to complete the SMARTMonitor equipped with a driverless camera.
There are four cords coming out of the Body, but they are soft and not difficult to maneuver.
The connection to CarPlay seems a bit slower than other models, but so far there seems to be no concern about disconnection after a long drive. Also, there is no such thing as losing direction when turning such as UTurn so far.
Since recent CarPlay includes meeting tools such as Teams and Zoom, it may be possible to do things like Touring while talking with multiple people instead of Income connection.
DriveRecorder is generally called highly functional, with beautiful images, and by using the KaEdia application, you can obtain sufficient information even with a Smartphone.
The app is stable in normal use, but in my environment (iPhone) the app crashes when setting up Camera. I hope this will improve in the future.
I have a Handlebar Brace (KDR-HB2) on my CB200X, so I put SMARTMonitor on it.
The company is also a well-known manufacturer of Smartphone Holders, so the product comes standard with an anti-vibration function and seems to have no durability issues.
This was my first experience with the Tire Air Pressure Check, but I was able to Pair it by removing the Pairing on the DeFault and re-installing it again. If it does not work, you may want to remove it from the Valve and reattach it again.
SDCard is not included, so it is recommended that you obtain the necessary Size's first.
Tests before connection can also be performed by feeding power to the USB-CConnector located next to the SDSlot.
(I know it's hard to use USBConnector when it's on-board)
Overall, the quality is good and the features are adequate for the price.SMARTMonitorQuantity recommended for those who are looking for a Compact screen.:Set

The installation is Large strange
When I put it on a Full Cowl Motorcycle, I had to remove most of the covers, which was quite Large and strange.
It took 2 days to install the body and position the Camera (including breaks).
BackMonitor was surprisingly usable...I don't think you can overstate the functionality of the BSD!
The Instruction Manual is too unfriendly. It seems to be telling you to learn by touch.
I hesitate to buy Option because it is over 100,000
I guess I was too quick to buy when I thought I could have gotten something comparable for less if I had waited a little longer...

You should have the store do the installation.
Wiring is tedious, it took me 6 hours. I had originally installed a Mistuba camera, so I thought I would use it if I could, but the terminals were different, so I had to remove the existing camera altogether.
About Camera
The Camera in the "Included Parts:" section is smaller than the Mistuba one. Moreover, it was not compatible with the Bracket on the License Plate, so I had to modify it to fit the Bracket.
About Cable
The power supply cable has a +- terminal that looks like a round terminal for direct connection to the buffer and no terminal for ACC. I think it is a hassle for motorcycles that do not have a terminal to take out ACC like CB.
About the attached Mount
The monitor is in the way, so I can't pull the key out, and I can't seem to swing it around, etc. I have made a 1 inch BallMount with a pontoon. I think it is better to wait for the official product because it is obviously a modification.
