Those metal tabs are inexpensive.These tabs are very high strenght, does not break easily and can be used for a long time. The lock tabs prevent the bolts from turning, shifting, and wallowing out.It's very important have those locking tabs when replacing the rear sprocket. The point of the locking tabs is that they're softer than the sprocket material, allowing some "crush" to prevent spinning of the bolts and to get a better grip on the hardened metals, allowing more grip for less torque on the bolts.The tabs augment this. Hardened washers allow sliding between themselves and the hardened sprocket. Kinda hard for some to get their head around, but hardened washers are not an improvement over the factory setup.That's why I always use OEM products everytime CAUSE of the Quality nobody can't beat that.parts are received in a good condition very well packed! The hub damper, which is attached to an unseen part of the engine, gives the impression of being a modest consumable, but since it continues to receive the high power of the liter SS, it will surely wear out and lose weight over the distance.
When the Hub damper becomes worn out, the hub will pull out from the Wheel ScauperScauper when the Rear wheel is removed, so it is relatively easy to know when to replace the damper if you are doing your own maintenance.
If this happens, the jittery feeling when turning the throttle on and off will become large, which not only makes the ride uncomfortable but also reduces the ease of riding.
If the condition cannot be checked by self-maintenance, it is recommended to replace it around 10000 km, although it may depend on how you drive.

[How is it used?
FZ6R uses OEM 520Size Chain and Sprocket. The OEM Driven Sprocket of the FZS600 is 48T, but by changing it to 46T of the FZ6R, it can be used at higher speeds. High geared for ease of cruising.
Was the one you received as per Image?
No quality issues as these are OEM Parts. This is standard Steel.
Was the installation difficult?
The PCD of the bolt holes for the Sprocket is the same for both FZS600 and FZ6R.
How was your experience with it?
I was surprised to see the increase in acceleration from ZeroStart on my first ride after the changeover, and it seems that the size reduction from 530 to 520 has considerably reduced the driving resistance. I think 520Conversion has a very high Cost performance. There is no dramatic improvement in fuel economy, but it runs around 24 km per liter on the con stunt.
