It is relatively inexpensive and easy to change the power performance.
I'm not finished with ESTRELLA's Restore, but I've been thinking about it a lot (laughs).
It doesn't stop (laughs).
Now I am going to renew the drivetrain.
Image that is more like a return to shipping state rather than Custom.
Replace front sprocket.
We don't want to increase the number of pins or anything like that, we want to keep it OEM.
Sprocket also has Front and Rear.
Front this time.
Front sprocket
The sprocket attached to the counter shaft of the engine is called a front sprocket.
In addition to this, the Front sprocket is also Driven Sprocket. It is also sometimes called
I often see that Custom increases or decreases the number of ding,
[Changing Sprocket.
The Sprocket is responsible for transmitting the power of the Engine to the Wheel. 。 By changing the number of Sprocket Ding before and after this conveying power. Acceleration-oriented. or Fuel-efficient, High Speed Oriented" type can be changed to either of the following.
〜I want to improve acceleration.
Front sprocket's number of dings→. "cut back"
〜I want to increase the maximum speed.
Front sprocket's number of dings→. Increase."
I have already experienced this with the CUB, but when you go to the maximum speed, the Axel will turn more and more, so the fuel consumption will decrease.
If you are satisfied with the NORMAL setting, it would be good not to change it.
And Front sprocket also has a life span.
Life span of front sprocket.
The life of the front sprocket is 15,000km.
Large body:I've been told that it's a rough estimate, and my own experience is that it's about 10,000 to 20,000 km in mileage.
And interestingly, Front and Rear have different life spans.
This result shows that the Front is closer to the Engine power and wears out more quickly.
How to exchange ~Front sprocket of ESTRELLA
(1) Float the Rear tire with Center Stand or Jack.
↓
Loosen the ASKULNut near the rear tire, and loosen the Chain Adjuster to the maximum large limit.
↓
(3) Open the Cover of the EngineLeft arm.
↓
(4) You can see the smallest gear, right? This is the front sprocket.
↓
(5) Remove the Cover on top of the Sprocket. 。
↓
?Pull out the Sprocket. The rust was worse than the wear.
↓
(7) Clean up the area where Sprocket originally fit and put in the new Sprocket.
↓
(8) Chain is bitten and Chain lube is applied.
↓
?Return the Cover and also return the Engine's Cover.
↓
?Chain play is also adjusted and completed.
*Please try to turn the Rear tire by hand to check the operation. 。
Although there are more steps involved, it is less difficult than replacing the Rear Sprocket or Chain, so it should be easy for those who do it themselves.
For example, if Torque is too strong and it is difficult to ride, you can increase the number of pins, and if Torque is too weak, you can decrease the number of pins.
However, since there is a range of the number of ding for each car model, we recommend that it be done within that range.
For example ... if the OEM is 15 before and 38 after, the range is 43.
If the number of pins is reduced, raise the number of pins by one, and if the number of pins is about 16 in the front, it may be large enough to be sturdy, but if it is extreme, change the number of pins in the rear.
I think that Sprocket is a White face because it is a place where you can experience it.

Let's trade every time!"
I replaced it with a new one when I replaced the front sprocket on my Ninja 250SL. This product can be reused, but in principle, it should not be reused. Absolutely not." It is a part that must be damaged when attaching and detaching (I learned this from a PRO motorcycle shop)! (I learned this from a PRO Motorcycle shop.) It is a part that always hurts when you put it on and take it off… If it falls off, the front sprocket will fall off and it will be a big disaster… It is only a 200 yen item, and to ride your motorcycle comfortably, be sure to buy and install it every time!
