If you do it slowly and carefully, you can do it beautifully!
Cowl replacement done recently.
Not only do we have to replace the Cowl, but we also have to apply the Sticker and Decal attached to the Cowl.
Actually, I failed once. (Laughs)
I would like to write based on my failures.
This is ?Seal→○ Decal.
What is the difference between Seal and Decal?
Seal]
。 Sticker then becomes a more solid Seal.
Decal
Seat is used to reproduce difficult handwritten logos by transferring them onto a model. After the printing and processing processes, the seal is ready for transfer.
Decal is used for motorcycles and cars because of their weather resistance.
If you are confident with your hands, you may be able to paste it as it is, but it is quite risky (laughs).
I would like to introduce a method called water pasting.
How to paste
■What to prepare ■
Mist spray ........ "Water paste" This is done in a manner called 。
It is a wet cloth and can be substituted, but use a misting sprayer as it is by far the most efficient! 。 What you have at home is fine. If you don't have it, buy it.
OK with 100s of them.
○Towel...Large amount of water is produced in water pasting 。 TowelQuantity:1 pc. may not be enough. If you are not sure, buy it! 。 This is also OK with 100 units.
Spatula ... used to remove air and water 。 Fingers can be substituted, but fingerprints will be lost. 。 A spatula will give you a clean finish and make the work faster. But if you try to remove air bubbles with a spatula, you may damage the decal that has been softened by water pasting.
How to paste
1) Degreasing. Remove oil from the surface to be applied with a neutral detergent, etc.
↓
(2) Spray water on both the exterior decal and the surface to be affixed.
↓
(3) Temporarily place and align Decal. (I'm not pushing it yet.)
↓
It is better to use a Towel or your finger to press down from the center to the outside to drain off the water. Worst case, you can reapply if there is still water on the surface (laugh).
↓
(5) Drying. Leave it to dry for 5 to 6 hours in summer, or until the next day in winter. 。 But in the meantime, please check the status of Decal from time to time! 。 Air bubbles may form during the process of moisture loss, or floating may occur if the glue is weak.
↓
(6) Gently peel off the protective Seat over the Decal.
The work itself is not difficult, but it should be done slowly and carefully, taking your time.
My failed Point.
Insufficient ? degreasing.
?I was worried about the air bubbles and overgrew it with the spatula.
→It's not easy, but if you want to get it done quickly, you'll make more mistakes, so take your time and do it right.

If it cracks, it is wise to replace it.
The other day I got carried away... and fell to my feet (laughs).
I tried to repair it, but gradually I started to hear a buzzing sound at high RPM, and I was worried that it would not be able to withstand the vibration, so I replaced it. 。
Left Side upper part.
This vehicle will be a Full Cowl vehicle.
What is Full Cowl?
It looks sporty and looks how fast it is, but what is Merit and Demerit?
[Merit]
◎High aerodynamic performance allows the car to efficiently catch the driving wind behind it when driving at high speeds or riding for long periods of time, reducing fatigue. 。
◎Styling-wise, Full CowlMachine has a Sporty Sporty Style and looks good. I→d prefer it, though (laughs).
◎Protect your body from precipitation and insects.
Since motorcycles are exposed to the rain, the Cowl reduces the area where the body gets wet somewhat. 。 It also protects me from flying insects and Garbage from the front.
◎Engine protection in the event of a fall.
If you fall down without cowl, you may injure the crankcase etc., and the cost of parts around the engine is quite expensive even if the engine is traumatized... This is the case with Racer and others.
[Demerit]
▲Sensitive to strong crosswinds.
Full Cowl is strong against wind from the front, but its weak point is crosswind 。 The cowl makes it more susceptible to crosswinds, which is not a problem for a sturdy vehicle like a tourer, but a light motorcycle is affected to a large extent.
Damage is Large 。 As long as you are riding a motorcycle, you can't avoid situations that are either large or small, such as minor wounds, collisions, and falls. 。 In that case, you will need to replace the damaged Cowl, and this repair cost quite a bit of money! 。 Repair costs vary depending on the type of Motorcycle, but are estimated to be several tens of thousands of yen.
Poor maintainability. Various parts are hidden in the cowl, so maintenance basically starts by removing the cowl. 。 Even changing the oil has to start with removing the cowl! 。 It is said to be Large sturdy once you get used to it, but it takes a long time to maintain because the Upper Cowl on the front of the Motorcycle needs to be attached and detached, as well as Mirror, Blinker, and other accessory parts.
→GSX-R125 does not require cowl removal for oil replacement.
The exchange can basically be done with Hexagonal Wrench and +Driver. 。 It's in my on-board tools (laughs).
Point:If only a part of the Left Side is to be replaced, all screws on the CowlLeft Side must be removed. 。
Since Cowl is connected One Side by One Side. 。
Be careful not to lose any of the many small parts such as bolts and screws.
good point
◎No more chattering sound in vibration.
◎ Parts cost is relatively low. → I was at a Motorcycle store before I bought this one. If you fall, Cowl is cheap, so you don't have to worry!" I've been told that...yes, that's true (laughs).
◎SEA BASS has a Parts List on its Home page, so you can order at the store if you take down the part numbers.
A bad point
?Cowl removal and attachment is troublesome.
Repair is only a stopgap measure, so I would like to recommend replacement if budget allows! 。
SEA BASS, a manufacturer, has a parts list on their homepage so that you don't have to purchase a separate parts list. I think they are conscientious.
The Image seems to be Hurdle high to take off and put on, but you will get used to it after a few times.
It feels good to replace it.

Parts that don't fit
It looks different from the parts list photo and does not fit.
I ordered three times and this is all I got.
I don't know what the problem is. It's rectangular and a little smaller.
The nut hole should also be smaller, but it looks like a completely different item.
I want to know if the problem is with Suzuki's list or this one.
It's difficult because it's a discontinued model.

Genuine Suzuki Windscreen for GSX-R1000 2019
A little bit of a mishap meant this screen on a virtually new bike needed changing. I did not want a different colour or get darker smoked one, I just wanted the standard semi smoke screen clear. I found the part using the help section that Webike provide with links to the top manufacturers websites and from there schematics etc. The price overall was very good and better than I could source locally. I decided whilst I was buying this item, I added a few other parts to the basket which meant the shipping was spread out all of the order. Cheaper than buying individual items and shipping them as is. The screen was packed in a loveley thick bubble wrap and taped closed. The rest of the parts in my order were all padded and therefore, no damage could occur during transit. Webike even tape theentire box closed. EMS fast service is what I chose, the cost was so good and all my items were delviered in 5 days. The screen arrived with me in perfect condition and I am not surprised by the amount of bubble wrap that was surrounding it. The screen has a bit of flex which of course you need. All the fixing holes are perfectly made, line up just fine. Not really much else to say about it, it's a semi smoked clear screen. There are no sharp edges and all appears to be without any distortion to it either, crystal clear if you like. All together, I am very pleased with how it looks and how it all went together. Not a tough job for anyone. So, thank you Webike for the great services. View detail

Genuine Suzuki Emblem for GSX-R1000 2014
I had been looking to spruce up a genuine Suzuki emblem on the GSX-R1000 bike I was putting together. Yes, I could get them printed at a local store but why do that when you can get hold of the genuine Suzuki ones as cheap as this. Not a hard part to find once you know the size you need and a rough model what this is for. This was the side fairing emblem which needed to be the exact same as the other side for the bike project and needed a genuine emblem as only that would look as it should. Along with some other parts, all shipped together by EMS and delivered in 5 days. Everything in the package was packed neatly and securely and these were kept flat as you don't want bent emblems. They look super slick and crisp edges makes the world of difference. This genuine Suzuki R emblem is a gorgeous black raised gel looking decal/emblem and all the colour is super clean too. I have had some that look slightly grey but not these, perfect match for the bike colour scheme. Now they are on, the bike looks like a proper machine. Thanks Webike for providing items that are hard to get here in the UK. View detail

Suzuki heat shield
No idea how but my old heat shield had been ripped and was probably not doing the job it was supposed to be doing. The replacement genuine Suzuki was really cheap and far better priced than my local dealer could offer. With other parts in my order, the shipping via Fedex Express was really competitive. Delivered within a week of order. The heat shield on arrival was nice and flat as it was on a card base. All packaged really well around it so it stayed flat. Finding was really easy with schematics, the price was very good and the shipping was good too as I have other parts in the same order. Arrived at my door within a week. Cannot fault Webike for the packaging, all really weel packed out. Really nice bolts, yes, I know they are just bolts but slide in really easiliy.
