Cheap part to ensure no oil leaks
Why try and reuse that old oil drain plug aluminium crush washer with the chance of creating an oil leak and possible expensive repairs if something goes wrong when the washers is so cheap to replace. I just add half a dozen to an existing order and have them on hand in the garage when carrying out my scheduled oil servicing. Quality maintenance item from Honda at a very afforadable price. And a tip for the inexperienced mechanics out there, do not over tighten the OEM steel drain plug as you could strip the threads in the aluminium crank case. View detail

Poor installation of this fastener from the factory called for a replacement
When I was removing my rear chrome wheel fender for a detailed cleaning and to apply so corrosion prevention spray, I noticed one of the pan head allen screws was not fully seated and the rear fender was loose in this location. This turned out to be due to the screw being cross threaded from poor installation of this fastener from the factory. The threads for the fastener on the motorcycle frame were repaired with a thread tap to recut the threads but the original pan head screw was beyond repair and required a replacement to be ordered. OEM hardware replacements are affordable and available from Webike to order. View detail

Clutch cover gasket a regular service item
The right hand crank case cover gasket is another high use item for me when it comes to the oil servicing of my Grom and Monkey 125 motorcycles. Prices from Webike are very good and the gasket itself is of great quality and I usually get a few uses out of the one gasket. A tip to help remove the crank case cover without out damaging the gasket fitted is to use the clutch lever arm to apply pressure to the clutch lifter plate which then just pops the cover away from the engine, leaving the gasket intacted and able to be reused again if desired. I may look into buying a Kitaco or Special Parts Takegawa clutch cover with oil filters in the future to lessen the need to removed the clutch cover. View detail

Honda Monkey 125 headlight screw
This is the fastener you will need when you lose you Honda Monkey 125 headlight assembly screw. Happened to me and from what I read on the forum it sounds to be a common problem so when you have the time remove these screws holding your headlight assembly in and add a little thread locker compound to stop this happening to you. But if you do need a replacement these black coated steel screw are at least cheap to replace. Five stars for the product from Honda and five stars for the service from Webike. View detail

Nice chrome finish but thin material
When inspecting my Honda Monkey 125 prior to purchasing from the original owner I did notice a small dent in the muffler protector and thought I could live with it. After owning the motorcycle for several years now I could no longer put up with the damage even though it was so small due to the beautiful chrome finish making it stand out too much. The replacement cost of the new OEM Honda part is not cheap so you need to be careful when handling the muffler protector to prevent this try of damage in the future. The muffler protector does work very well to help prevent burning your leg on a hot muffler and the look when paired with a aftermarket exhaust it fantastic. View detail

Original ones break easily as they are cast metal
The OEM Honda cast aluminium clutch lifter plate are not very strong and can beak easily on installation if you do not follow the recommended way to install them. Best thing is that they are cheap to replace if you are unlucky and this happens to you. I would not advise using the OEM cast metal one if you are increasing the clutch spring force a lot. Best to upgrade this to an billet one like the one from Kitaco part number 307-1452600 if you choose to go this route. View detail

Grom and Monkey 125 cam chain tensioner arm
Cheap looking and simple design but works as intended by Honda engineering on a standard to lightly modified Honda Grom or Monkey 125 engine. A lot of people go away from the OEM cam chain tensioner arm but for most people I think you can keep this part and just upgrade the tensioner cap to a Kitaco one model number 303-1083703 and that will make the system reliable. Replacement Chrome Bolt Caps
The original OEM chrome bolt caps on the handle bar top clamp become scratched and in poor condition due to my key chain rubbing on them while riding. This became an eye sore on my motorcycle so I had to source new ones. Using the on line Honda OEM parts finder it was simple to find the correct part number and after a search Webike appeared. The chrome is very soft and you need to be very careful when removing and installing as not to damage them but if they do become damaged at least they are pretty cheap to replace. View detail

Left handle lever pivot cover Honda Monkey 125
During the process of restoring my Honda Monkey 125 to full OEM specifications prior to selling I had to replace the clutch lever pivot cover as it had been damaged from a fall. Honda OEM parts finders make the job very easy to locate the part number required and the part supplied is exactly the same as the previous one and what I was after to get the bike looking like it did out of the fatory. OEM Honda Fuel Injector for Monkey 125 BBK
Yet another part required for increasing the engine capacity on your Honda Monkey 125 when going a big bore kit. Can not go wrong when you choose to use genuine OEM Honda parts. The fuel injector comes with all the o rings fitted ready for installation onto your throttle body. The increase of fuel injector cc size from 90cc stock to 140cc with this upgraded fuel injector allows you to get sufficient fuel flow at wide open throttle and reduces the duty cycles on the fuel injector. I have given this product a ranking of five stars as apart from the comments made above the price is also very competitive as when compared to after market Brand fuel injectors. View detail

OEM Honda ECU Replacement
I sent my original ECU off to an after market vendor to have it adjusted to suit my current engine modification. I like to keep all my original parts from motorcycles I modify so decided to purchase a replacement stock ECU to keep on hand as when I choose to sell my motorcycle in the future I like to restore the motorcycle back to the standard set up. This product from Honda is a quality item but the price is very high. You can purchase cheaper ECUs from after market vendors and that is what I should have done. I suggest if you are looking to adjust your ECU just purchase one from the vendor making the adjustments for you and keep your original one. View detail

Honda OEM Oil Filter Rotor Lightened
One of the popular modifications for the Honda Grom is to lighten the oil filter rotor to achieve increased acceleration off the line and for the little capacity engine to rev easier. This can be achieved by purchasing a product from Special Parts Takegawa or if you have access to tooling can machine down the Honda OEM oil filter rotor from approx 1000 grams to 500 grams. The quality of the Honda part is great and the price is very reasonable so this is a great option for the DIY mechanic that likes to tinker with their motorcycle. Installation is straight forward with the right tools and a replacement gasket from Webike. View detail
