Buy with no loss
This is a bargain. The MA1 jacket in the after is so well put together that there is no protector present. The jacket fits well when the buttons on the sides and arms are closed. There are also inside pockets on both sides for a total of five storage compartments. You can fit a wallet, cigarettes, keys, and a cell phone. It is well made. The inner lining is amazing and can be used by itself. I think it would be the strongest if worn under an after-work jacket. The fabric is solid and keeps out the wind, but it seems to sweat. It feels a little stiff. Since the after is firm, a softer barker or fleece might work as an inner layer. I made the chest patch removable because it would be embarrassing for an old man. I can put any badge I like on it. You can't go wrong with this! View detail
I chose the size based on the length of the dress.
We are 177cm tall, very skinny, born in the Showa period, short legs.
The MODEL is about the same height as me (178 cm) and wears a L. So, after agonizing over whether to go with L or XL, I decided to go with XL.
The result was Large correct
It's a MA−1, so the length is short, and since I'm a skinny girl, it's a bit drab around my torso, but I can adjust my torso to some extent, and I'm a person who wears rather a lot, so it's not a problem.
The neck warmer can be removed and attached, and the hem and sleeves have a double-layered structure.
I am considering purchasing more in different colors.

The reality is that the Jacket2Quantity:Set
I am 174cm tall, 78kg, not muscular but with a fat belly. I bought a L size as I don't plan to put any clothes inside. The length, shoulder, girth, sleeve length, etc. are just right.
It is a standard MA-1 Jacket in appearance, and among the chest and shoulder emblems, only the left chest emblem is attached with Velcro tape, so it can be attached or detached, although I don't know when it is detached.
The lining as well as the outer fabric is mesh, so it is outclassing when moving (Photo 1). there is a fastener pocket and a pen pocket on the left arm, and there is a cap at the bottom of the pen pocket to prevent a hole from being made by a pen tip (Photo 2). The fastener on the front side has a cover to prevent the tank from being scratched, which is good, but I feel a little uncomfortable because of the type of inserting the Left Side into the Right Side (Photo 3).
It comes with an inner jacket, but there are no buttons or fastener to fasten it to the outer jacket. It has pockets on the chest, shoulders, and elbows to attach protectors (Photo 4), making it an independent jacket rather than an inner one. The back view is also a normal Jacket (Photo 5), and the armpits are made of an elastic material (Photo 6), which looks just right in spring.
I have not run two layers, but the outer fabric of the Inner seems to be windproof because of its tight mesh. It is also solid and thick, which may make it difficult to use as an Inner for a Mesh jacket.

Good for everyday use.
Originally, I liked MA-1, but if it wasn't for Motorcycle, I couldn't ride it in winter because it was too cold.
I bought this one for Motorcycle by Design of MA-1.
I do like that it's an F-14 squadron (Black Knights) Motif though.
Pad in the back, shoulders, elbows and chest for extra safety.
I am satisfied with the warmth of this jacket even in the coldest conditions.
