Brake Enhancement and Quantity:Set Menu
Custom Background
V125G/S standard front brakeKX85-based TOKICO2PODCaliper was replaced because I had a feeling that the Fork was bottoming out every time I did a full brake.
When we disassembled the vehicle, we found that it had probably never had a proper Fork oil change in the past, so the effect is somewhat inaccurate because we feel the effect of the new oil at the same time.
[Operation
Replacement is only for FTire removal and Fork removal.
The upper part of the ForkPinchBolt must be pulled out to remove the Fork.
Top cap is 17mmHex, so special tool preparation is required.
Remove Oil and Spring from Top cap and wash once with discarded Oil.
After that, the oil level is adjusted by adding the specified amount of fork oil, and the springs are simply replaced and inserted.
FirstImpression
I honestly didn't feel the change as much as I did when I assembled it and did an on-the-spot check:???? I didn't feel the change so much.
Should I adjust the 10-yen Pre-road that was popular in the past? I thought about it, but I decided to test drive the car before making a decision.
When the brake is applied after slowly stroking to get accustomed, you will notice that the tire's sense of stability is completely different.
Here, for the first time, we understand that the Pre-road is rigidly Settled.
I also replaced the rear shock with SP Mukawa at this time, so for the time being, I will ride the car as it is now, since I have not noticed anything wrong with the balance.

Wife, Large joy
I bought it for my wife, who is in the early 150cm height range, because she had bought an SV650 but was concerned about her footing.
The result is a wife Large joy.
In NORMAL, I was supporting it with the base of one thumb,
When this Link Rod is inserted, the base of both thumbs will be grounded, and one foot will be sticky.
I am 177cm and I already have sticky sticky feet, stickier than my AXIS-Z that I use for commuting.
Write down the installation.
I assume you are familiar with maintenance if you are trying to do it yourself, but I hope this will be helpful to someone else.
First, you need an environment where you can hang Jack or Motorcycle.
Rear stand alone is not acceptable (since the LINK cannot be removed …).
Jacks are unstable, so it is safer to hang them if there is an environment in which they can be hung.
Also, the Exhaust System has to be removed before we can work on it,
If you do not want to use Gasket all over again, please buy a new Gasket.
14181-22D01 1pc.
14771-32E10 3 pcs.
When removing the Exhaust System, remove in the following order:Silencer→ front exhaust pipe→ O2Sensor&rarr attached to the middle exhaust pipe; middle exhaust pipe.
When you put it on, it is in reverse order.
Gasket stuck in the exhaust pipe can be pulled out with a radipen.
Please pull out the chisel with your spirit.
It seems to be the correct way to loosen the O2Sensor after raising the Fuel Tank and removing the Coupler, but I was too lazy to remove it as it was.
It was completed successfully without disconnection, but you are on your own there….
Once the Exhaust System is removed, all that remains is to replace the Link Rod.
If the Bolt of the LINK interferes with the base of the Side Stand and cannot be removed, it can be removed by lifting the Swing Arm upward.
I have not tinkered with the Fork protrusion mentioned by others, as I did not feel any particular discomfort with it as is.
It is my wife's Motorcycle and I will respond when she tells me.
I got a good deal.
If you want to improve your footing, I recommend it.

I'm Repeat and use it!
The SR we own was purchased used, and the suspension of vehicles purchased used are often fluffy.
If the rear suspension is fluffy, it won't hold its ground and it will be hard to turn, so the rear suspension was the first thing I changed.
It is obviously excessive to introduce a higher-performance and higher-priced suspension than necessary to the SR of the Iron Frame, and although it may be called an OEM suspension, it is supposed to be made for the minimum level of satisfaction of the general public as a retro-motorcycle (laugh).
Many of you replace the rear suspension, don't you?
What are the benefits?
Rear suspension replacement Merit
・ I'm just running straight." The straight line stability is completely different in the following two ways:(1) The sticking to the ground and the gripping feeling is enhanced.
Increased sense of security and sticking to the Corner, making the Corner ring extremely fun and easy to use. 。
The car is very stable at high speeds, and I feel psychologically safer when I run at high speeds.
The result is less fatigue and more fun on the motorcycle.
The choice can be made according to the direction of Custom, so you can get a good look and originality. 。
The suspension made by DAYTONASHOWA is the one we are going to impress you with this time. The price is low at around 25,000 yen, but the performance is also well-received by the Large group. It has 11-level damping adjustment on the rebound side, which is more than the KYB KGS325's 4-level adjustment.
This sus continues to Repeat.
As for the characteristics, it moves well in the beginning, and it steps at the back with a large amount of Stroke→ I like this!
good point
◎Driving performance is definitely better than OEM, Corner feels easier because of the tread at Corner.
◎Lightweight.
◎A wide variety of compatible car models; also highly regarded as a Shock for OEM Parts Replacement.
◎Fine setting is possible with 11 levels of adjustment on the extension side.
◎Design. this is simple and good.
◎Cost performance is better than other companies. less than 30,000 yen, great.
A bad point
◎It seems that disassembly is not possible→Overhaul is not possible. In other words, if it breaks, Out.
I bought it thinking that for this Gold amount I could get about 20,000 km of decent use out of it.
Think of the suspension as a consumable item too, if you consider it the price of two Oil changes, once every 20,000 km. →But it's also quite durable, it didn't get soggy even after 3 years. And it's cheap, so you can still buy another one.
In particular, the most significant changes in SR custom are, in order, as follows
(1) Carburetor replacement (Driverability and performance changes due to FCR Carburetor Body, CR and TMR)
Exhaust system replacement (sound change rather than performance)
(3) Rear Suspension Replacement (change in driving performance) I think. 。 Rear suspension replacement is a cost-effective, large-custom solution for lightweight, single-cylinder motorcycles!
There is a demerit that says it is not overhaulable, but considering the gold price and performance, it's worth it!
High spec suspensions such as OHLINS and White power completely exceed the performance of the SR body side (lol), and I think that is also the fun part (lol) I once rode a vehicle with OHLINS, but it seemed quite firm.

Improved footwork
Introduced for the purpose of slightly improving the footing of the wife when she rides.
Since the suspension replacement seemed to be a bit time-consuming, only the link plate was replaced while the suspension was set to NORMAL.
We chose the Daytona product because it had the lowest price.
To avoid stress on the Flange when removing the Silencer Bolt, it is recommended to hang the Silencer from the Grab Bar with a string, etc., so that the Silencer can be installed without removing the exhaust pipe (without inadvertently removing the O2 Sensor Coupler and putting on the EngineCheckLamp). Silencer can be installed without removing the exhaust pipe (without accidentally removing the Coupler of the O2 Sensor and attaching EngineCheckLamp).
As an effect of the replacement, the footing is improved by about 2 cm, but more than that, the suspension becomes more supple, or rather, the thrust is eased, and the ride is very comfortable.
On the other hand, the tread seems weakened and CorneringSpeed is reduced.
It seems that lowering the Front also improves the Balance, but we plan to examine this after seeing how it looks for a while in this state.
Also, this product is colorful, but realistically, I think you can only choose Silver or Black. I also think that the product is colorful, but in reality, you can only choose between Silver and Black.

Motorcycle became standing up.
A must for short Rider!
I think it is a solid product at a lower price than other manufacturers' products.
Increasing the amount of front projection made the Motorcycle stand up.
I got my STAND shortened.
Manufacturer says that STAND processing is not necessary, but it may be dangerous depending on where you stop.

Why is this not OEM?
I bought a used 2018 SG52J in 23/12. It was my first Scooter since I had been driving a Mission car for a long time. Since Rear is not so good, I changed and installed (1) Daytona Front fork spring, (2) Daytona Lowdown Plate and (3) Daytona Rear shock. I brought (1) and (2) to Baron Red who purchased the Motorcycle and asked him to change the fork oil to the specified (city driving) MOTOREX 5W with a kinematic viscosity of 22.6.
The result was Large satisfaction. The most important goal of the project was to reduce the thrust up to the handlebar, but the rear shock alone did not cause much change. The front and rear ride height balance was also optimized. Although it is still hard, The suspension has gone from hard to firm and solid." I feel that the car has become more powerful. The reviews are divided into effective and ineffective, but if the oil viscosity is also observed, I think the SG52J with a larger orifice in the inner tube is the only one that can experience the effects of the replacement. I definitely recommend it! As stated, DaytonaQuantity:We recommend replacing with 1 set of 3-items. My favorite machine has been replaced with a flat seat, which is a comfortable spec. that allows me to sit back and stretch my legs, even at the expense of leg room.

When replacing the DaytonaRear shock, it is recommended to install at the same time.
Bought a used 2018 SG52J in 23/12. This is my first scooter as I've always been a transmission vehicle. the suspension is too hard as per prior information on YouTube etc. The suspension is good on smooth surfaces, but on rough surfaces, the rattling thrust to the handlebars is too much, so my first priority is to improve the front end. The rear suspension is not so good either, so we installed (1) Daytona front fork springs, (2) Daytona lowering plate, and (3) Daytona rear shock. (3) was converted by myself first, and (1) and (2) were brought to Red Baron where I bought the bike. For fork oil, I consulted with Aka Baron to get the specified (street riding) Motorex 5W with a kinematic viscosity of 22.6, and asked him to work with half #5 and half #10 Aka Baron oil (made by Target).
The results were very satisfactory. The rear shock alone did not cause much change, but the change in the link ratio of the down plate made it feel softer. The front and rear ride height balance was also optimized. Although it is still firm, The suspension has gone from hard to firm and solid." It is like a "I'm a good car. I even feel that the car has become more powerful. The reviews are divided into effective and ineffective, but I think the SG52J with the enlarged orifice of the inner tube is the one to experience the effect of the replacement if the oil viscosity is also observed. I definitely recommend it! As stated, we recommend replacing with the Daytona 3-piece set. My machine has a flat seat, which allows me to sit back and stretch my legs comfortably at the expense of leg room, but the leg room was slightly improved by replacing this suspension (at 172cm height, base of thumb).

footpeg position good
I was feeling stress when my feet hit the footpeg during standing, but the Ditna Footpeg Bracket eliminated the stress and I was satisfied with the large size. I felt again that a footpeg is just a footpeg, and the position of the footpeg is important. View detail

I was surprised at how comfortable the ride was. I should have changed it earlier. Looks, normal. View detail
This product is difficult to install and has a high work risk.
This product is difficult or impossible (for amateurs) to install due to individual differences.
As noted on the product page, it is necessary to adjust the angle of the banjo bolt on the brake, change the routing of the switch harness, etc.
Especially if the footpegPedal is moved even slightly while the banjo bolt is loosened, it may bite the air.
Although there are some aspects that cannot be helped because they are due to individual differences in Motorcycle, basically, these are not tasks that should be performed by amateurs.
(An image of the Instruction Manual is also attached, but if you do not know what the word ”air removal” means, please do not install it by yourself.)
Please note that you will not know if you need to do the above until you actually remove the footpeg, so be careful if you intend to do the work yourself.
In OEM condition, the banjo bolt is coated with Check pen, so you can see it later when you loosen it.
We recommend that you DIY the installation knowing the risk of not being covered by the manufacturer's warranty in the event of a problem with your own work, or have a motorcycle shop perform the installation for you.
I gave up on installing it on my CL250 by myself because it looked too far away to do anything about the angle of the banjo bolt.
I felt evasive because even if it were installed, it would likely be very Hose stretched.
I may ask Motorcycle shop to install it when I get around to it, but I have a feeling that some other company will have a more nifty footpeg available by then.
The material is made of a solid material, so as long as it can be installed, it can be used without problems.
However, I felt that the product design was poor for a product made by Large Hand Manufacturer, although I think one of the reasons is that it is custom parts for a car model that has just been released on the market.
I have experience in total replacement of Brake line, but I optimistically think that amateurs should not work on cars with ABS.
(If there is an error in ABS, it can only be fixed by the Manufacturer.)
I would not recommend it at all unless you are really having trouble with your footing right now.

I am generally satisfied with the functionality and appearance.
The plating on the Normal fork was peeling and falling apart.
I would rather …… and excitedly buy it than replace it with a new OEM one.
The slender legs became thicker and prettier.
The flapping feeling of the previous model has been reduced and it is more stable when driving.
I was surprised how quickly Front settled down after bouncing and Jumping.
35,000 yen is expensive, but considering it is a complete set of front forks, it is probably cheaper.
Thank you for supplying parts that would not be in much demand.

The final result was better than it needed to be.
Being able to set the Position is of course a good thing in itself,
In the non-standard half-positions, the foot is outward and uncomfortable because of the difference in step.
It is almost impossible to stick one's feet to the Heel Guard, making it difficult to ride.
I finally came back to the standard Position, so it was just Dress-up parts, which are useless and expensive.
