The SUPER CUB that we purchased was inexpensive, and the exterior of the SUPER CUB was sadly deteriorating over time...
A reliable Shop for such SUPER CUB Refresh! Tokyo Do. This time, we refresh the Rear shock, which had been in a soggy Rust condition.
The distributor is Tokyo-Do, but the manufacturer is YSS, which has become a MAJOR suspension manufacturer in Japan.
How was your experience with it?
The vehicle we acquired was a wrecked vehicle with a lot of mileage, so it was a simple matter to get a new one. Compare with OEM Product." The body of the car was squishy, but the movement of the body was crisp.
The included adjustment tool allows for 5 levels of pre-road adjustment, but in my case, the lowest factory setting was sufficient (I think the lowest setting is a little stiffer than OEMRear shock).
Another good point is that since the entire product is made of plating, it can be installed without any discomfort regardless of the color of the car body.
How did it compare to other products?
Several companies sell shocks in the same price range, but since this is the first time I have replaced the rear shock of my SUPER CUB with an Other Brand Product, I am not familiar with the MeritDemerit of each.
I wonder if there is no problem in coordinating with the car body color. I think so.
If you are interested in the behavior of the car when you drive on the circuit or push it to the limit, you may be more satisfied with the more expensive Rear shock.

This product is Ironware. The product is a plated product, so it can be enjoyed in a beautiful condition for a long time if you continue to take measures against rust, such as wax & coating, dehydration after driving in the rain or washing the car, etc.

Ride quality has changed drastically!
I was tired of the fluffy ride characteristic of OEM and finally replaced them with new ones! Ride is hard
Used with HA02 SUPER CUB 90. The ride is firm, adjustable in 5 levels, and even at the weakest setting, the damper is effective and picks up bumps on the road surface. The Spring setting is firmer than the OEM, but I think it is standard. However, I have lower back pain and it came back after only a few kilometers. Therefore, I prefer the softer OEM setting for my lower back.
The OEM has no offset between the Upper Mount and Lower Mount, but BlackShock has the Lower Mount offset inward by a little less than 1 cm. Therefore, the Rubber Bush inside the Mount absorbs some of the distortion and is used for mounting.

I am satisfied with the fast convergence of the behavior when passing through the Gap, while it holds firm at the Corner.

Significantly more effective when loaded
I bought this because the OEM Rear suspension on my JA45 bounces around with the slightest gap. I bought it because the OEM rear suspension was bouncing around with a little bit of gap.
When tested in city driving with an empty load, the damping is clearly more effective than OEM, and the bouncing is easily contained. I also feel that the ride height is slightly higher, making it easier to ride.
The true value is when loaded with a large amount of gear. When we went mountaineering and camping touring to remote islands, we drove more than 350 km one way with a full load of climbing and camping gear. In comparison, with this suspension (at the hardest pre-road setting), the rear wheels felt stable with almost no sinkage, and the car was very nimble without feeling the weight of the luggage. It is well worth buying.

HA06 SUPER CUB 100 (CUB100 THAI)
I was able to go with a HA06 SUPER CUB 100 with a pontoon.
I also used the impressions here to help me with my purchase, so I'm posting to return the favor. I believe the free length is 330mm and the top and bottom collars are M14. Compared to the NORMAL, I feel that the road-following and comfort performance is much better. The 5-step Pre-road is also available.

Normal good
I rode Motorcycle NORMAL and I am a beginner, so I don't really know how it rides. I have been looking for a hard one for a tandem, and I found that a hard one is better, so I decided to go with this one that I can adjust.
I am glad I installed it because it is easy to replace and adjust.
Since Front is NORMAL, I can't help but wonder if I should change this one too!

I bought it after reading your Review and youtube video.
I didn't have high expectations because of the low price, but when I installed it and tried it out, I felt unintentionally good as soon as I sat down.
I weigh 78 kg and I have adjusted the weight from the softest to the hardest side.
The rear damping is now working and the ride quality is great, and touring with friends is a lot of fun.

Rear Shock Full Plated tokyodo
He bought the Honda Little Cub. I wasn't comfortable with the situation at the factory stands:
1) sipping - initially the small clearance became even smaller when boarding the moped;
2) swing - in motion the moped was very unstable.
Tokyodo stands enjoyed their quality, the presence of a key for adjustment and the most enjoyable moment - an excellent price. Installation and setup took 15 minutes. The presence of the key helped expose the necessary rigidity at once. Unfortunately, there is no possibility to test in traffic at the moment due to the bad weather, but in static everything is already very good. Definitely recommend!

Cheap but good performance
Since GORILLA has Long Swing Arm, I replaced it with a used rear suspension for CUB, and the size is just right and the ride quality has improved! The design looks good from a distance, but up close, the plastic part looks cheap. Adjusting the damping by twisting the suspension body is easy. Just insert the rod into the hole and turn it. I wasn't sure if it would fit, but I was able to install it on my JA59.
As you say, OEM feet get fluffy…
With this Shock, I think I finally have a normal suspension. It is neither too sporty nor too soft. It is neither too sporty nor too soft.
It is inexpensive and the installation only requires attaching and detaching four Nuts, so if you are concerned about OEMs, give it a try.

I bought it because the rear shock of my SUPER CUB, which goes out to Race on snow, was disconnected.

It was more solid than I expected.

I would like to have more Stroke when I think about using it in Race, but I think the costuming is very good.
A light Jump would be flyable.

Driving will change.
I use a CUB110 (JA07) for commuting to work, but even on seemingly flat paved roads, it would bob up and down, and at intersections and other turns, it felt like it was going to fall apart, so I switched to a Tokyo Do rear shock, which is MAJOR for a CUB.
I have not made any settings, but the behavior has clearly changed.
I will make adjustments as I go along and change it to my liking.
Installation is easy, just remove the OEM and pop it on.
JA07 don't forget to put in the two washers that come with it!

Not much change...?
I bought it because I didn't want it to bounce up and down on Manhole or bumps. I'm aware that I'm insensitive to these things, but honestly I couldn't tell much difference from OEM.
I think it's the softest " I think it's a little bit reduced...? " I'd say it's about the same.
