A sound that evokes the good old Showa period.
The MAJOR Short Tube is an old car-style custom exhaust system with a Showa-era sound, appearance, and appeal that is still very popular today.
With the popularity of the East Ribeye and other models, there are more and more opportunities to see vehicles with Short Tubes on motorcycles ridden by the younger generation.
What is Short Tube? ‥
Basically, it comes from the old Racer.
In other words, when cars were regulated without silencers, racing parts were used in production cars or were given a look-alike appearance because the performance would be improved if a set was added.
Performance and characteristics
The sound is Large and the low-speed Torque is weakened. The sound is Large and the low-speed Torque is weakened.
The lower exhaust pressure makes the start of the system feel slower.
Torque is obtained by utilizing the exhaust pressure of the engine. 。 If there is no exhaust resistance at all, the Engine will turn lightly 。 → On the other hand, there is no resistance (no snagging) → the low-speed Torque is eliminated because the exhaust Gas flows as it is.
Exceptions are...
Short Tube, such as MORIWAKI and YOSHIMURA = JMCA Certified Exhaust System, looks like a Short Tube, but its internal structure is completely different, and it has a device to suppress demerit while producing merit. 。 Torque is lost to the extent that such things are installed.
Short Tube Intake Setting (Torque shortage cover method)
● Fueling to compensate for the lower Torque.
→ low speed range Raise the Pilot or Slow Jet number. The fusion point of squeezing out Power by turning to high RPM and at the same time applying Torque at low RPM to go around the Corner is the so-called Setting." It is a thing called 。 Short Tube not managed by Torque." The reason why the motorcycle that was made to be a "3.0" is revved to a very high rpm at start or acceleration is because "it would not go forward otherwise".
It is because it is "Motorcycle without Motorcycle".
In a youthful indiscretion, I put this on my ZEPHYR because I wanted something inexpensive, cool looking, and with an austere sound (laugh) &arrarr; Now I regret it (laugh).
good point
◎ Inexpensive. At the time, this was Mast (laughs).
◎ Sound. To describe it in words, bobbing → blowing with Idling is a fawn (lol) The sound when the Engine is turned is pleasant.
◎Installation accuracy is not bad for the price. Easy installation.
◎The appearance is good.
◎ Not only ZEPHYR, but also many air-cooled 4-cylinder lineups.
A bad point
The sound is too loud to pass inspection. 。
Center Stand cannot be used due to the mounting position.
▲AfterFireYa started to go out at low and mid speeds, to the point where the Engine was jerky and un-runnable as if it was Knocking. Carburetor setting to compensate for the low-speed part eliminated the problem.
Rust-prone.
The welding of the ▲Bracket section is unreliable.
Baffle removal is rather tight and difficult to remove.
In other words, putting a Short Tube in the modern era is the old Racer style! 。 According to the theory of exhaust system construction, a short exhaust system tends to lack low-speed torque because it is unable to accumulate sufficient exhaust pressure.
Many of them will not even be muffled properly. 。 There are many different Muffler makers, so it is hard to generalize, Short tubes are a type of tube assembly that are characterized by their wilde sound, which helps to create a badass look. Many of them have too much openness, so they tend to lack low-speed torque. Can we say?
But I digress...
Q:Why doesn't a pure Racer, with no sound restrictions, have a Super Short Tube? Or not remove the Exhaust System?
A:It only increases rotation when exhaust pressure is removed, The power to kick the ground. Because there will be no more 。
The appearance and sound of many Demerits are appealing, and if you are thinking about purchasing one, please take into account that the act of customization = self-responsibility.
I think it is a decent product for the price.

Outlet or B-grade? Defective?
Gari Wound in a prominent place when the packaging is opened.
Repair and install because of the hassle of returning the product.
It's a shame because the design, volume, and cosmetics are not bad.

quality is worth the price
I used it on my Racer YZF-R25.
Because of the change in Silencer, the position of the Spring hook has changed,
Introduced because of the close proximity between Spring hooks.
The quality is...reasonable for the price. Probably the same as what is sold in CHINA on Amazon or Yahoo!
It is not unusable, but its life as Spring seems to be short.
Be careful not to pull it too hard, as it may break.
The range of use is from about 65mm to about 75mm, but I think 75mm is too much.
I can only see a future where the Spring will break due to vibration while running...

Bean-jam-filled wafers (Monaka) wobbly part (e.g. of a video game)
Due to the low price, only things arrive with a bang.
No Instruction Manualetc.
Bean-jam-filled wafers (Monaka) The tube and the steel tube part are Rivet fastened, but it arrived in a wobbly condition.
It's wobbly enough to move by hand.
Bean-jam-filled wafers instead of baffles (Monaka) The part is wobbly.
I wrote something similar before in Impression but for some reason it was not published. What do you mean?

A little stiff.
It is used as Chamber spring with a mounting length of 95mm.
Before this product. MORIWAKI ENGINEERING MORIWAKIEngineerRing:0A02-08709KK11[Exhaust System Replacement Parts] Spring Long I used to use a 1 pc but it came off and went somewhere else, so I bought it.
It was stiffer than MORIWAKI's Spring and could be installed with firm tension.
To compare the hardness, MORIWAKI can be pulled with one hand, but this Spring is a little tougher with one hand.
It is a well-made and good product, but it seems to take a little time for delivery because it is an imported product.

After all, if you compare it with MORIWAKI and YOSHIMURA…
After all, it may be impossible to make a collective tube except for YOSHIMURA and MORIWAKI.
I bought it because it was cheap, but I couldn't hope for performance just because it was Mischief.
good point
Cheap.
It looks good.
A bad point
Torque drops to Large width with a blast.
Carburetor setting collapses like Large.
Heat-resistant paint is easy to remove.
He'll think I'm a mischief-maker. 。
I think it is suitable for people who are longing for old car association.
It's just not for me.
But it's cosy and the shape is Parenthesis good, that's the charm.

Mostly straight pipes, high RPM, explosive noise.
The accuracy of the device is a little loose, but it is not expected to be a problem if you assume that it will be difficult to remove the device when it is removed. It is.
It's almost a straight tube, so it's perfect for those who like explosions.
It would have been perfect if the volume of the idols could have been reduced... but that's a tall order.

I like the look of it!

If the Size is correct, it's Recommendation
It is Inner silencer of Universal It used to use a Bach Full type before, but the Chatter sound was awful, so I changed it and used it for the inner silencer I did
The volume is quite low I think it depends on the car model, but in my car, the volume is about the same as the external Slip-on Silencer Volume
I also use the same series product with a bit larger inner diameter will be about as loud as a straight tube
The price is not that high, so it's Recommendation

Not too loud
Installation is tricky. This was not made to fit correctly without some modifications to the support bracket. The lowest hole in the bracket needs to be expanded so that there would be little to no tension on the exhaust pipe and header bolts. The support bracket's lower hole does not line up with the exhaust can's bracket after hand tightening the header nuts. The sound is louder than stock and lacks some bass when compared to the FMF full exhaust I used to run. Overall I don't think it is too loud. I measured at idle from my phone app 88db in a closed garage, might not be as accurate. The look is nice and header pipe has a bend to it which exposes the oil drain bolt. Oil changes will be much simpler. The exhaust can is tucked under the passenger foot pegs . View detail

Exhaust System exchange
When exchanging the Exhaust System this time, I exchanged Gasket. There was also a liquid Gasket painted in it.
Previously, since there was no Gasket at the time of exchanging the Exhaust System, I used a crushed guy, but I realized that I still have to change it.
