Used on ninja250
ninja250 (2015) It was installed with the company's 65029 at
The low side is connected using the included White colored Electro Tap. No on/offSwitch was installed since there is no vehicle inspection.
I was a little dissatisfied that I could not do wiring without cutting into the headlight unit, but I am generally satisfied with the brightness and parenthesis after installation.

This makes nighttime driving safer.
The headlight of the CUB (JA07), which was dim, is now super bright. It is wonderful!
But it was difficult to install and I asked Shop to do it.

LED Headlight
Before installing this product, a Hid Kit from Other Brand Product was installed in the vehicle, but I thought that thermal expansion would distort the Lens of the Headlight, so I decided to replace it. The light intensity is the same for both products, but I am concerned about the durability of the product. The only problem I had with the installation was the wiring. One disappointment was that the double-sided tape was not sticky enough. View detail
Very bright LED Bulb
We used to use LED Headlight made by another company.
Protec's CYCLONELED uses a fan system for heat dissipation.
The previous LEDs sometimes seemed a little dark at night, but I had no complaints while using them.
However, I have had the opportunity to use this product with the edge, and it is brighter.
This product was my first experience with Protec products, and I felt that I would like to continue using them in the future, including the sincerity of the engineers toward their products.

The lowBeam is so dark.
It's so dark that you might think that the lights are not on when driving at night or when driving on the Tunnel. It is so dark. However, High beam is very bright. It is very useful for DRZ400sm which is difficult to pass the inspection with LightTester. I didn't imagine it would be so dark, maybe OEM Lens is bad, but High beam is so bright. This is the worst of the cost. View detail
It's definitely brighter.
I got this on my DR-Z400sm that was delivered today.
According to the father of the shop where I bought it, the OEM didn't pass inspection, so they put it on with Service, and it's certainly bright.
I rarely ride at night, but every time I inspect my car, I raise the Battery direct power supply PlusIdling rotation demon, and furthermore, it is troublesome to store the new Headlight cowlAssen for inspection only Stock, so I am happy about this. I hope that the next inspection will pass safely because it is User inspection.

The wire was broken at 9000kmMeter after installation.
The brightness is bright enough not to be compared with other products, but due to the disconnection of the 3-pole coupler coming out of the body, both Low beam and High beam are not attached. In addition to the thinness of the original wire, it seems to be because the force is easily applied to the pulling direction because the wiring is short. View detail

To improve the visibility when returning home
I had a cheap Chinese LED on the Lo side, but it was too dark to see & when I visited Protec to do something about the visibility, I had them replace it along with the shift position.
You can switch between Single Light and Twin Light by turning on/off the Switch.
Since the illumination range has been increased by turning on the Twin Light, it has become easier to be recognized even in the evening when Rush returns home.
However, you need to switch to Single Light to use it when Passing.
Is it because you are forcing the Hi optical axis to Lo?
The disadvantage is that it is a little darker than RISING H7 which I put in Lo side later. It is a little darker than H7.
It's a little bit Green.
Maybe it's the color temperature difference.
For some reason, when I set it to Twin Light, the Fuse jumps frequently, so now I set it to Single Light.

Solves the DR-Z's weakness, lack of light!
OEMHeadlight's darkness is renowned as DR-Z's Achilles heel.
Some Owner's replace the entire face, but this product eliminates the darkness without changing the OEM face.
The amount of light of LED is as expected. It became bright at once.
The Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence and Waterproof are also taken care of by the domestic brand.
As long as I drive on public roads, it is important from a safety standpoint to improve visibility from oncoming vehicles, so I personally required it.
The installation was done without any large stress.
The price is a little bit high because it is only for the niche car DR.

I'm sure you'll be happy to know that I'm not the only one;
When I came to PROTEC to install the Shift indicator, I asked them to do the same work for me.
The Lo side was scheduled to be changed to LED bulbs soon, so I had them replace only the Hi side.
Because the irradiation of Hi is adjusted to Lo forcibly originally, it doesn't shine on Beauty because of the relation of Lens cut.
But because the thing that was originally one light becomes two lights, I thought that I should compromise there.
Now, from a strange, kind old man. "You're out of bulbs! I'm not sure why Fuse flies when I think it does.
I run out every couple of days, so I always have 5 or 6 spare Fuse on hand.
I'll take my time next time to examine the connections.

LB7-S for Lo side for Headlight of MC41 CBR250R late model (65029) Installed together with
I decided to change to LED bulb because the original H7Halogen bulb was not good for night road.
The reason why I chose this product is because the Hi side can be switched to Hi/Lo and the Twin Light is always on.
And that it is a model with a fan that is advantageous for cooling.
It's no exaggeration to say that I spent a large sum of money for these two points.
The product has a good texture and is well made, and it feels like an aluminum block that seems to dissipate heat.
The installation itself can be done without any difficulty by looking at the instruction manual and Protec's installation blog.
If I may say so, it is troublesome that I have to cut the connector in front of the body and replace it with a plain type terminal because the product has a three-pole connector instead of a two-pole connector.
In the instruction manual, there is an instruction to branch the Brown line to the harness side with Electro Tap, but I don't want to damage the harness and Electro Tap is not reliable. I put them together and crimped them to Plain Type Terminal of Lo side.
Also, the image which can install the Control Unit on the Headlight unit easily is published in the official blog, but because it is necessary to remove the Mirror and to remove Upper Cowl&Headlight unit in order to install it there, the difficulty of installation It is necessary to remove Mirror and Upper Cowl&Headlight unit.
However, when it is the method which pastes it to Side cowl which is in the explanation, when it is MC41 which needs to remove Side cowl in order to do anything, it is necessary to remove Connector every time, because it is not beyond the point of being troublesome, I recommend fixing Control Unit on Headlight unit even if it is troublesome. Recommendation.
It is the feeling which turned on, but of course the brightness is bright enough to be perfect, and the HiBeam Cutline is also coming out firmly, and it is the feeling that it is an expensive manufacturer product after all.
Even the sound of the cooling fan is enough to make you forget it exists once the engine is turned on.
However, when I switched to the long-awaited Lo Beam, I was surprised. As you can see in the attached image, the light distribution is like Spotlight, unlike the spreading light distribution of the original LoBeam.
If you use HiBeam to adjust the light axis and switch to Lo, it will certainly be lower, so I don't think it will dazzle oncoming cars or front runners…
I don't know if it's because the Hi side Reflector itself wasn't originally designed to be used with the LoBeam, but I think it's more of a brightness aid for the front of the Lo rather than increasing the Lo to two lights.
Well, it may be inevitable because the way of using Reflector was not expected by Manufacturer.
Personally, I'm happy if it brightens up even as a supplement.
In addition, depending on the viewing angle, there is an angle where the Reflector appears to be yellow because the color of the LED element is reflected.
Also, if the attached Push Switch is connected and installed in the shadow of the Cowl, the Hi/Lo switch can also be turned off, so there is no problem when entering Dealers etc. that are noisy and small.
As the purchase privilege WedgeValve for the Position of LED which is sold with a little more than 2000 was attached, but because it was the superb Garbage condition that it did not light when it inserted to the depths in the Socket by no means, it threw away. (Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) Neither does the same LED Bulb that came with the Lo side)
As a general comment, I think it's a very good product if you think that it has the brightness and performance as a general high-grade LED bulb and LoBeam Nibbler function as an added value.
I thought there was no problem with durability because it survived the intense heat of midsummer without plunging into dangerous temperatures.

LB7W-H for Hi side for Headlight of MC41 CBR250R late model (65030) Installed together with
I decided to change to LED bulb because the original H7Halogen bulb was not good for night road.
Aside from the cheap Chinese products, the reason I chose this product was because of its ability to always turn on the Twin Light even in LoBeam by connecting it to the LB7W-H, which is the Hi side.
And that it is a model with a fan that is advantageous for cooling.
It's no exaggeration to say that I spent a large sum of money for these two points.

Headlight for high is low light and has a little glare
Twin Light lighting is still good, by far.
The dress-up with Twin Light lighting is the number one impact in my opinion, although it is expensive.
However, since the light for high beam is forced to shine in low beam, there is a little (quite …?) glare. Glare will appear.
I think this is the only way to go, but Minus is Minus, so I'll mention it.
It's a large size and can be installed without any trouble (although it took a little effort).
If you don't have a lot of night time driving on your old R25, you can easily switch between Single Light and Twin Light.

Is this a staple in DRZ's Light?
OEMLight is too dark, so it costs a little, but I think it's worth it. In that sense, I think the cost is not bad. That's how dark OEM is.
If you don't drive at night, you may not need this product, but I found this product after looking for something that fits my DRZ.
I'm glad I put it on. It's highly satisfying, partly because Standard Equipment's Light is too dark, so they're lowering the threshold for me.

Headlight assembly
The PROTEC LED Multi Reflector Head Light Kit headlight assembly looks more retro. Big Love! The brightness is at least doubled than the original factory. The irradiation width is also much wider. I chose yellow light that feels more retro. It should be noted that the headlight is a circle smaller than the original factory size. Moreover, the aluminum alloy weighing sleeve of the headlight needs to be fixed during installation, which is not included in the suit. ---------------------------------------------- PROTEC LED Multi Reflector Head Light Kit look more retro headlight assembly. I bought it because it was proven.
I used the LED Headlight of the company for about 50,000km in SUPER CUB110 (JA07), and from the fact that there is no problem and failure at all. I bought it.
I also changed the Manufacturer to LED with JA45, but I felt the absolute lack of light intensity. If it is only a city run, it can correspond, but when it becomes a wet road surface of the dark suburbs and the night, it is not possible.
I think that the light quantity is secured enough even in the headlight diameter that became small by Protec.
The light distribution Pattern is Level, which is not a luxury.
I think that the price will be Neck, but if you think that you can use more than 50,000km because half of it is night driving in commuting "Ali I think so

A shitty product.
High beam and low beam Kelvin are different.
Light failure in 6 months. Paid repair even within the warranty period.
Even after repairing, the light does not light up properly. After all, the contact of Control Unit is not good, and Light does not turn on.
I called the company and they were all over the top and said we were fine. I shouldn't have bought it.

I didn't know it was this bright!
What is Halogen? I'm not sure if the LEDs are great, Protec's technology is great, or the price is too expensive Anyway, it's bright The only other thing that matters is the durability, the Halogen seems to run a little thin Protec feels like his vision is better with Twin Light at full throttle It's not that different physically View detail
The car was inspected OK!
Last time I took the car in for inspection, I was told it wouldn't pass, so I changed it back to the Normal valve and took it to the inspection I've been told that
When I went to pick it up, I was easily told that the car was OK with the LEDs intact, and that it was OK to inspect the car?
I don't know what it is, but I'm so glad it was inspection compliant and didn't cost me any extra labor!
