NICHIRIN, a manufacturer of genuine brake hoses, has developed a stainless steel mesh brake/clutch hose for motorcycles using the most advanced technology available. Utilizing Nichirin's know-how, whip performance and long life (maintenance free) have been achieved. Pressure loss during braking is minimized and directly transferred to the caliper for improved braking performance.

All performance items have passed FMVSS NO.106 (Federal Motor bike Safety Standards), proving the high level of safety.

(1) Touch: Direct touch with less than 50% expansion rate compared to normal.

The High Spec line is 50% less expansion than the standard stock brake hose, eliminating the spongy feel caused by hose expansion loss. This eliminates the spongy feeling caused by the loss of hose expansion, and provides a controllable braking touch that is as close to zero stress as possible, with no error between lever operation and braking effect.

(2) Durability: Overcomes the weak point of stainless steel mesh, which is fatigue resistance.

It works well but does not last long. The High Spec line overcame such disadvantages of stainless steel mesh by using the most advanced domestic technology. It is the first product from a Japanese manufacturer to meet all the requirements of FMVSS (Federal Motor bike Safety Standards), JIS and ISO standards. (4) Sustainability: Low-permeation structure to maintain initial braking response.

In contrast to the normal hose, the high-spec line has a low-permeation structure that shuts out the intrusion of moisture. This prevents the brake fluid from deteriorating and maintains stable braking performance.

Fittings are integrated to prevent fluid leakage. The sealing performance of the caulked part and the safety of the hose are all tested for pressure resistance, ensuring safety to prevent any problems.

The use of sturdy steel for the fittings has resulted in a significant cost reduction compared to conventional stainless steel mesh.
